"Mariokart? It's a racing game, It's pretty fun."
If he didn't want to play, she would have probably dug out Frozen or How To Train Your Dragon because those were just epic movies.

^{The thunder had not only gone once. It rumbled loudly a few times, then quieted for a short five second period and started even louder again, while lightning quickly struck far away. The gray clouds turned darker and the lights flickered.
"Aw crap." Sam would have been grabbing a flashlight out of a cabinet and setting it on the kitchen table.}

^{As a loud rumble of thunder shook the house, lightning would have went off afterwards and the power would have gone out. Flicking on the flashlight, Sam would have probably been adventuring around the house in search of a lighter.}
