The male caracat couldn't resist a dry chuckle as he settled down to sit beside the leopard. He flicked one of his own ears, which just happened to be graced with the glossy black ear tufts most caracals and caracal hybrids sported. He couldn't help it, but it struck him as funny that she should complain about ear tufts– the likes of which Charlie had never really cared to think much about– when, as a leopard, she had so much more.
Her spots, for instance.
