"What are you even doing?" Zou's tinted sunglasses glinted in the faint light that was within the room, peering over the shoulder of the friend he had known for years, Jinka. Although they looked like they clearly shouldn't be friends at all, the two oddly were. Jinka's brown eyes was focused on the weapon in his hands, admiring the structure of the new mechanical weapon he had made. A grin crossed his face as he responded, "Just polishing this up before I test it out." Zou leaned against the chair, a mocking expression on hiss face, "Again? Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if you decided to build a tank one day." Jinka shrugged, brushing some of the blonde strands of hair away from his face as his childish grin widened, "Tank? Actually that doesn't sound so bad of an idea," He turned his head away, snickering as he continued to clean the base of the gleaming, odd hunk of mechanical technology, "you usually don't come up with good ideas anyways." Zou scowled, snapping, "What did you say?! I do come up with good ideas!" Jinka raised his hands up in mock surprise as he responded, "Whatever you say, I'm simply telling the truth. Your ideas sometimes are very sh***y." Zou's left eye twitched as he muttered darkly, ",You're so lucky that I know you Jinka." Jinka tilted his head as he shrugged, "Well, try attacking me if you'd like. But remember last time you tried?" Zou flinched as he remembered. That was a moment that really messed with his ego, it was simply a practice match between them and Jinka had brutally defeated him. Zou rubbed the back of his neck as he muttered, "That was a fluke and you know it." Jinka raised an eyebrow as he said, "A fluke huh? So you want a rematch?" Zou snapped in response, "Haven't you hurt my pride enough!"

Jinka snickered as he stood up with the weapon, strapping it to his right arm, "Probably not all the way. But I'm sure you'll live Zou." Walking past him, Jinka's tail twitched with excitement as he grinned broadly, "Now hurry up Zou! I want to check to see if this works! If it does... Team Rocket would probably pay us more than they do." Honestly, Jinka could really care less about Team Rocket, but he supposed he should keep an eye on his headstrong friend, no telling what Zou would do. Zou followed behind him at a more lax pace though he still seemed a little miffed, "Probably, now let's get to the headquarters before any of the Resistance Troops find us." Jinka sighed, saying in a disappointed tone, "D*mn and I really wanted to test this out too..." Zou rolled his eyes as he said, "Jinka, you can test it at the facility." Jinka continued following Zou though he muttered, "Still so much potiental though..."

  • The Konno brothers were not that far off, just walking. No jobs had come in and Kakeru was bored. Momiji, however, was trying to listen in on what Zou and Jinka were saying. Kakeru watched his younger brother strain to hear and rolled his eyes. "Come on, Momiji. Give it a rest. It doesn't matter," he muttered. "Yes it does," Momiji responded, "We could use it to blackmail them if need be. I'm just waiting for them to say something I could use as blackmail." Kakeru once again rolled his eyes and kept walking.

  • Jinka continued walking, seeming not to be faintly bothered by anything around him in the least. He glanced over towards Zou, asking, "So, when do you suppose Team Rocket will plan an attack on the Resistance?" Zou shrugged, "Who knows, they call the shots so I really have no say in what they do." Jinka gazed ahead as he said simply, "Well, I suppose they think that the Resistance forces is no longer a threat. Remember the last fight?" Zou's facial expression became grim, "How could I not? So many people died that day." Jinka's tail swished behind him as he nodded, "Yeah, I think that's probably the reason why, both sides suffered greatly." A brief large grin crossed his face as he said with a tint of an excited fascination in his voice, "But the way they planted that bomb on the South Tower! I have to admire them for that! It was a huge explosion!" Zou gave Jinka a questionable look as he said with amusement, "Honestly, I think you are a little bit strange... no that's not the word... more like a madman around anything that seems to explode." He looked away and stared straight ahead, "Normal people would try and stay away from the explosions yeah? But you go towards them everytime... weirdo." Jinka didn't seem like his spirits had fallen since he responded with mock hurt in his voice, "Wow, those words really sting." He added on in a more normal tone of voice, "But being called weird by someone like you... I think I may have some issues." Zou scowled, "What the h*ll does that mean?" Jinka shrugged, "You're weirder than me. Honestly, do I have to restate every single thing that you've done?" Zou's facial expression faltered as he muttered, "I swear... sometimes I do want to strangle you."

Jinka grinned, a childish and mocking grin up at Zou. He was fairly short, barely even reaching Zou's shoulder, but he was preparing to fight. Even though he was casually talking with Zou, he made sure that he kept an eye on anything that may move that seems out of place. Looking away, his gaze briefly skimmed the surrounding area, then he spotted two shapes. Quinting so he could get a better look before he went in attack mode, he nearly raised his arm with the weapon on it to fire, then he stopped realizing it was just Kakeru and Momiji. Lowering his arm, he glanced over towards Zou who was tensed up, reasurring him with a few simple words he said, "It's alright. It's just Kakeru and Momiji." Zou scowled as he muttered, "Next time you see something at least tell someone Jinka!" Jinka shrugged as he said, "I though you would've already known." Zou snapped, "How could I? How can you even see that far anyways?" Jinka sighed as he nearly facepalmed, "They're not that far away. And even if they were-" He pointed a finger to his eye, "I have good eyesight. If I didn't I probably would be accidentally shooting you everytime I go into a battle, even maybe the executives. And if you took those shades off, maybe you would be able to see better." Zou grinned, "Take off these shades? Never! They make me look good." Jinka shot back immediately, "They make you look like a moron." Zou was about to say something in response when Jinka said in a calmer tone, "Let's keep going, we shouldn't be talking so much. Besides," He glanced over his shoulder towards Kakeru and Momiji, "I have a feeling we're being watched." Zou hesitated for a few moments then nodded his head, understanding almost immediately. The two had kept their pace the same, but now they had fell quiet, surveying the area around them now.

  • A young female leaned heavily against the wooden bark of the tree it was biting into her back but she ignored it, long waist length pink hair slide down her small back and touched a bit passed her waist, tiny hands were placed against her chest where she could feel her heart beating quickly the girl's breath came out in labored sighed before sucking in the cold air once more she couldn't take this running nor did she have the energy to teleport again. The muscles in her legs were burning with raw pain and her eye sight was coming out in blur and hazy photos if she looked up a wave of dizziness always lashed out at her in waves. She wanted to throw up but couldn't even do that for her stomach was empty and her throat was so raw that she was sure it was bleeding, scratches and small bruises coated most of the visible parts of her body. As she took in another deep breath her petite frame shook with the effort her body wasn't cut out for this stuff. Ayaka just wanted to curl up on a ball and lay down while never getting up again but she knew that the nightmare man could anywhere nearby she couldn't afford to rest not now not yet. The Gijinka pushed herself off the tree and slowly walked though stumbled more likely around then anything else she was making quite a rack but she couldn't stay leaning against that tree forever it wasn't a good place to hide...oh why did he pursue her why couldn't they just leave her alone. Ayaka's pink tail dragged on the ground behind her gathering dirt and dead leafs along with twigs, she had the small pink cat like ears on her head pricked though listening and waiting for when they'd show up again. She was rather jumpy, couldn't trust anyone for there was that other one the illusion master, he tormented her more than the nightmare. Always taking different forms. She had move as far away as she could...

  • Methusulath was lounging against the wall- he was relaxing, and all things considered, he certainly deserved to do so, at least in his own opinion. See, the Chikorita had been working his brain to exhaustion- if nothing else could be said about his work ethics, he was very diligent. This was not for the good of Team Rocket, of course, it was just that he was looking quite forwards to evolving. There was, of course, nothing wrong with being a Chikorita, but there were benefits to his evolution- even if Bayleef and Chikorita were extremely similar already. Well, when he evolved, he would gain a golden sort of circlet and a long staff with a wicked sharp blade on the end. Methusulath certainly liked weapons, you know. He was almost there, the point when he would evolve. He wondered faintly what it would feel like. For a real Pokemon, of course, it would be rather painful, an explosion of energy from one's own self, the expansion of their body. But unless the change in a Pokehuman was exponential, it would seem more like a wardrobe change, right?
While these musings were going on, Miguel had been magnetically drawn to the green-haired man, and had leaned against the wall next to Methusulath. What was he possibly thinking, he wondered. His red eyes were unfocused, distant.
The thought of evolving had never crossed Miguel's unstrained mind. After all, there was zero difference between his forms, unless he wanted to wear a shirt with the most hideous shade of yellow. Well, on second thought, he'd sprout a spiky kind of ponytail, but that was besides the point.
Nearby, a couple of gijinkas were talking, but the reclusive priest had no inclination to join them, and Miguel would just stay by his side, forever if he needed to (Miguel was very devoted, you see). Still... "What are they talking about?" the Totodile asked, leaning his head against the wall. Probably non-important junk, but then again, they could maybe be talking about him.
Methusulath shrugged, as un-interested as always with the silly dealings of mortals.

  • "Shouldn't you be paying attention, too?" Momiji suddenly asked Kakeru. "Why?" Kakeru asked in response, but he already guessed what Momiji was going to say next. "Because you have the hots for Jinka." Kakeru felt his face flush. He would deny it, but saw no point. He was a bad liar. "Shut up," he said instead, "Focus on our current goal." "Riiiiiiiiiiight... Which is?" Kakeru sighed, exasperated. "If you listened for once, you'd know. We need money, so now we're trying to find someone who'll hire us for... anything, really." he explained. The walked in silence for a bit before Momiji's ears perked up. He sniffed the air and suddenly dashed of as fast as he could. His brother matched his pace. "What is it, Momiji?" Kakeru asked but got no response. After running for some time, Momiji stopped at the edge of a forest where a small girl was leaned against a tree. Jesus... She looks like s**t... Kakeru thought, assuming his usual quiet nature. Momiji took a small step towards the pink-haired girl. "Hey, are you okay? Is something wrong?" he asked her. She was clearly exhausted and a bit afraid. Momiji stood and waited for a response, not wanting to scare her any more than she already was.

  • Jinka continued along the same pace he was going at, though his facial expression somewhat relaxed as they neared the looming building of one of the many headquarters for Team Rocket. The building looked so... cold and vacent from the outside, a looming building of destruction... honestly this place unnerved Jinka greatly. Hesitating for the fraction of a few moments, this had caused Zou to turn and look at him, an eyebrow raised, "You coming?" Jinka paused then forced a good-natured smile on his face, "Yeah, just go on ahead." Zou frowned slightly then shrugged, "Whatever," he turned away as he said, "I'll wait for you inside." Jinka watched as he walked ahead then stared up at the building, surpressing a feeling of discomfort, muttering to himself, "C'mon Jinka, you've seen this building plenty of times before...." Giving a resigned sigh, he glanced down at the weapon strapped to his arm for the fraction of a milisecond then he moved forward towards the building, tail tip twitching the only sign he felt anxious.

"How much farther do we have to go?" Yuka's wide brown eyes stared up at her current guardian, Sango. The Jirachi PokéHuman responded, "Not much, until we find the Resistance we'll have to be quiet, okay?" Yuka's gaze turned towards the ground as strands of brown hair covered her face, muttering in a voice on the verge of tears, "I miss Oniichan..." Sango heard Yuka refer to her older brother like that before, apparently they had gotten seperated when the war began. And she felt somewhat guilty for Yuka, the poor girl... she seen too many dead bodies, it would always give her nightmares. Oftentimes she would hear her crying for her big brother, but she wouldn't be surprised if he was already dead. The thought simply was enough to make her usual bright spirits become somber. Forcing herself to be optimistic she smiled at Yuka, saying, "Soon we'll find a good place to rest okay? So no tears." Yuka looked up at Sango, sniffling pitifully, "O-okay." Sango's gaze gentled though she noticed Yuka seemed a little bit tired, a brief grim expression crossed her face as they proceeded north through the large, dense forest.

  • How highly annoying this hunt was become he was not allow to cause as much trouble as he normally thus deeming this dull. The male stood on top of a one of the largest trees in the area. He was draped in a long black cloak and the hood was drawn over his face though he pulled it off after a few moments revealing a younger face with eyes as old as time themselves. They were pitch black a void of emptiness as the wind blew it drew the locks of sliver hair behind him. Zero found this whole place a worthless dump and those who lived in useless scrapes of garbage taking up space in the world. He stood at by the overbearing height of a bit over seven feet tall a thick dark tail swayed from side to side before laying still as he relaxed the tensed up muscles in his large body. It had been rather hard for him not to lay waste to this disgusting place and obtain what he was searching for his way. He was forcing himself to remain as slight less as possible. The information he had gotten was correct the Mew was indeed within this area. The humans feared the ones that named themselves Resistance, why he had yet to see himself. Zero pulled up his hood and jumped from the tree floating lightly to the ground. He walked along the area with a tight frown on his lips. He had been very careful about killing those who got in his way. None the people here were important in his mind though painting the place red was sure to draw unwanted eyes. The whispers that filled his ears were of some battle that was going to be present....he could careless about something so idiotic his focus was on the mew and her whereabouts.

  • A long pink tail curled itself around the leg of the young woman, pink strands of hair fell forwards keeping her left eye concealed from view. Ayaka unwrapped her tail from around her leg and pulled her knees up against her chest tightly to rest her forehead against them. She was tired and her muscles were starting to ache, having given up at the moment she had settled on the ground curled around herself. She jumped though when the voice came apparent, she moved to quick get up as her muscles were screaming in agony and her head danced in circles with dizziness again. She found her footing before she fell over, using the tree as stable ground. "Stay away!" She snapped quickly without looking at who it was first, she was not going back to that place. Ayaka was usually rather friendly in general, but since that man had been taking so many forms it was hard for her to tell who was friend and enemy. She tilted her head up, leaning heavier against the while blinking her eyes a few times. One two....there were two people not one...He always came in one not pairs. "Who are you?" She added when they didn't move.

    •••
Her eyes snapped open at once, heart racing in her chest and her breath came out in ragged breaths. She couldn't place where she was but found that when she rose, her head roared in pain that raced down the rest of her body. A groan burnt in the back of her throat but she pushed it back as her nightmare came dancing in her memory Why...why wouldn't that go away? A young woman laid in the cover of the green grass, the faint brush of it against her pale hand had stirred her awake and brought her back from the horrid nightmare. It was always going on and on again ever since she had lost...a deep sigh broke through parted pink lips as the hand that had been laying in the grass rose and placed itself upon the girl forehead, long lock of emerald colored hair was spanned out around her. The hair was entangled around her body, like vines reaching out and ensnaring her in their trap. The throbbing pain in her head was bothersome but it was nothing like the ache she felt in her heart. As her chest rose and fell in a steadier rhythm she found that her throat seemed to be burning from lack of fluids. The girl still found no need to move from where she laid unlike most of her kind she looked more human. She had no extra extinctions upon her body and besides the large green orbs that had no pupal within them she could almost passed as a full human. But her scent it was far to sweet to much like a flower it often drew unwanted strangers and threats to her. The light it shone lightly on her female form the thin white gown caressed her pale legs. She would like to lay here and forget everything and anything but it was not possible she still had something to do. Tsubaki vivid jaded eyes scanned the area as her hands pushed off the ground and set herself into a sitting position, a massive body of water as crystal clear as the sky stood in front of her. That was right she came for some peace and got that dream...joy. She sighed before wandering through the forest heading back to the Resistance, Solaria was probably looking for her.

  • Upon walking inside the Team Rocket building, Jinka's brown eyes settled upon Zou who indeed had waited for him. Zou questioned in a curious voice, "So, what was the hold up?" Jinka's facial expression faltered for a few seconds then he forcefully grinned once more, "Uh, nothing! Let's just test this thing out already." Jinka hurried ahead before Zou could say a word, his gaze flitted upon the surroundings, thinking, This place... it holds too many memories... He kept his attention on the direction in which he was walking though, keeping himself with a calm atmosphere, though he knew as well as anyone else did- their human counterparts no longer thought of them as humans. They were monsters, hybrids and demons. They were treated no higher than livestock... and truthfully Team Rocket wasn't the best place. Sure they had won the last war but something about the way they were acting now about the Resistance... it was almost like they were disgusted. Thinking about this, he briefly wondered if his little sister was okay... was she feeling well? Was she safe? He'd hadn't seen her in ten years, and yet he couldn't believe so much time had passed. His gaze grew somewhat more somber as he thought, She would've been fourteen now... Just then, he slammed straight into a Team Rocket scientist. He backed up quickly as the scientist shouted at him, "Watch where you're going!" He was about to open his mouth to apologize when Zou stepped forward, growling, "Is there a problem sir?"

Jinka's eyes narrowed as he said under his breath, "Zou, knock it off, it'll do no good." Zou's eyes narrowed as he reluctantly backed off, as Jinka said hastily, "I apologize, I kind of spaced out." The scientist stared at them with beady eyes then grunted, muttering in distaste, "D*mn PokéHumans..." He continued on his way without another word. Jinka relaxed slightly though Zou hissed, "What the h*ll was that about?" Jinka said calmly, "What else did you expect me to do Zou? We're under constant watch 24/7, there's no way we can talk back to them openly without getting... executed." Zou scowled as he fell silent, reluctantly seeing Jinka's point.
    [hr]

Sango stopped underneath a tree, gazing up at the branches. She looked down at Yuka saying in a gentle tone, "We'll rest here for now. Is that good?" Yuka said in relief, "Yep!" Sango smiled in response as she helped her up into the branches of the tree, resting upon a lower branch than that of Yuka, she stared out upon the forest floor. She wasn't about to get found by Team Rocket, so this was good enough to hide there.

  • "I'm Momiji and this is my brother Kakeru. We're... um..." "Freelance killers" Kakeru chimed in, just barely loud enough to hear. Momiji kicked him in the shins and turned back to the mew gijinka. "Um, he's right, but we won't hurt you or anything. Are you okay? You look like something's been chasing you." He studied her. She was adorable. Very kawaii. But it was obvious she was in trouble. Kakeru leaned forward and started to whisper in his brother's ear. "Usually you name a price for our services around now." "Shut up," Momiji hissed, "She's desperately needs help. Besides, I don't think she has any money." Kakeru studied the girl. His face suddenly lit up and he grinned. "You like her~" Momiji felt his face go red and he ignored his brother. "So... Is there anything we can do to help?" ha asked, turning back to her.

  • WZou glared ahead, the scowl still on his face. Usually Jinka would never be acting like this... he knew there was something on his mind now. He knew Jinka better than that, he usually would never back down or apologize for his actions- although it was the right thing after all that he didn't argue and forced him not to fight the scientist he still felt highly irritated on the fact that Jinka was simply letting it go. He glanced over to Jinka, he wasn't as peppy as he usually was, seeming to be lost in thought. Was it this building... that he got contained in? It was a possibility. They never talked about the experiments that were placed on him, and some experiments were worse than others he had heard. Not that he particularly cared, Team Rocket had turned him into this PokéHuman he was now, and as far as he knew the Resistance was foolish enough to go up against them... but still, occasionally he'd see scars on Jinka sometimes on his upper arms, nothing else of course but did something happen to him in those Team Rocket labs? He looked ahead once more, letting the silence continue to fill out between them.

Jinka moved through the corridors of the Team Rocket building, going down a few stairs until he came across the lower floors. PokéHumans and humans were filing about, carrying weapons along with them. He continued moving through, not responding to anything. His thoughts were too preoccupied at the moment to pay heed to anything else, though he made it through the large lower floor of the weapon room and outside once again towards where one of the testing ranges were.
    [hr]

Sango's gaze remained steady as she kept a close eye on anything that could possibly be moving, but eventually relaxed when she saw nothing. Looking up once more to where Yuka was, a soft smile crossed her features as she saw that she was asleep. Good, she didn't want Yuka to be exhausted, even though she could go much further than her without stopping she knew it was necessary to rest.

  • The small pink ears fell back against her head as soon as she heard the word killers, Ayaka was learning everything about this world yet knew killers were never very good people. She took a step backwards and was debating on if she had enough energy to teleport. She was tired and it was getting a little hard to keep her eyes open she figured it's been about three days straight she has been running though it seemed like she was never getting very far. She returned her eyes to the boy's as the one told her they weren't going to hurt her. One might think that she would of figured out that not everyone's words are to be trusted with her past experiences, but being the naive, innocent, and lost girl she was naturally she took his word. The light tail kept swaying back and forth as her bright blue peered at the two as they began to whisper something, the nice one's face turned red she might of giggled at his expression, but was even to tired to do that. The mew gijinka made a face that could be similar to that of someone deep in thought, she was smiling a little, a smile with a twist to it, like the smile of a child who is determined not to weep. "Um, Well the nightmare man and the illusion monster are after me." She said casually as if every one knew who they were. "I'm hungry and tired but I gotta keep going otherwise I have to go back to the R people and I don't want that." She paused to yawn and rub her eyes. The ear on her head kept twitching at every sound she was jumpy with good reason for it.

  • Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! The air, the sky, the scenery everything here was just lovely. Yet it was missing something...perhaps a splash of red here and there the scent of blood and heads of the innocent spiked on pole with a welcome sign might help maybe he'd help them decorate. Yes, that sounded good to him but first he had to finish his task and set the game back on track. The Mewtwo had done a great part in greeting the Mew but now it was his turn. The Zoroark had a fox-like appearance with crimson and black accents. The ears red insides and were standing straight at the moment. He had some red rimming his eyes and mouth. He a large, red, voluminous mane of hair with black tips, which was pulled back into a ponytail, as a teal bangle down its length separates a mass of the hair from the lower portion. He had bright retractsble red claws on his hands and his eyes were red-rimmed with light blue irises. The bushy tail on the end beat back and forth as he strolled along the forest. The scent was sweet as her scent was, it smelt near but where was she? Loki sighed one of his more bored sighs the little mew was very elusive her teleport ability was handy, but he was sure that after their last scuffle she wouldn't be as quick to use it. Having been partnered with the Mewtwo was rather fun in itself, the cold gijinka still had a soft spot for that one. He'd just have to wipe it away. "Now where could you have gotten to..." He muttered to himself while strolling through.

  • "Er, I guess you could come with us?" Momiji looked to Kakeru. Kakeru looked her over again. "Give us a moment, please." he muttered to her. He then grabbed Momiji and stepped away, just out of hearing distance. "We can't." he whispered "WHY THE H*LL NOT?" Momiji shouted in outrage. Kakeru tried to cover his mouth to quiet him, but Momiji bit his fingers. Kakeru growled and Momiji glared at him "She said she's avoiding 'the R people'. The only people that fit that description are Team Rocket, our main employers. If they caught us hiding someone they wanted, they'd kill us. I've kept you alive this long, I'm not gonna let some little girl f**k everything up like that." Momiji's tail flicked back and forth in annoyance. "So? She'll die if they catch her," he retorted, "Besides... Weren't we planning on betraying them anyway? Rob a warehouse and join the rebels? Why can't we do that a bit early?" "Because," Kakeru responded, "We haven't fully planned that out. We need time." "So you're gonna let those sons of b*tches kill an helpless girl?" Kakeru thought for a while. It was true. The mew girl wouldn't survive on her own. It was a hard decision. "Fine. We'll help her." Momiji was already in front of her. "Hey, we can help you if you want. We have food and shelter. No one knows where our house is, either, so you'd be safe from those people who're after you. What do you say?"

  • One thing was clear as a bell to Ayaka these guys...they were weird. One was really loud and nice and the other was quite and well he wasn't outright mean but he wasn't exactly nice either, he was better than the ones after her though. They looked very alike it would of been hard for her to tell them apart if they were not so different in personality. She let her ears fall again when the loud one begun shouting again, as they were talking she was tempted to slip away, not because she didn't think they could help her more from the fact that she was afraid of dragging them into her problem. He always kills them every one who tried to help her died, she would live for those who have died, but was not going to add to that list. The gijinka had pushed away from the tree already debating on where to go, but she found her path blocked. She bit the inside of her cheek while cocking her head to the right, everyone always told her she was safe and she never was. She was exhausted and her stomach kept making that noise it made when it was empty, it was rather loud and annoying and she wished it would stop. Recently she has learned that it stops when you eat food. This was a tough call she could stay with them for a bit but at risks of their lives, or she could continue on but risk capture or death in her current condition. "Um...o-o-okay, but I don't want to be a bother." She told Momoiji with a small frown. She decided she could leave during the night, that way could rest for a bit and go hopeful before they found her again.

  • Momiji smiled a bit, not a confident smug like he usually did, but an actual smile. Kakeru (once again) examined Ayaka. He nodded a bit to himself and picked her up. "Sorry about this, but I don't want you to fall over when we start walking." he murmured to her. Momiji looked up at his older brother, completely confused. Not because Kakeru picked her up. He was kinda touchy-feely and did stuff like that quite a bit. Momiji was more surprised that Kakeru was talking to someone he didn't know. "Um, bro? You're talking to a stranger... Are you feeling okay?" "Yup, I'm feeling just fine," Kakeru replied, "Go ahead and check for anyone from Team Rocket. They want this pink kid pretty badly." Momiji nodded and ran ahead, still confused. Kakeru looked down at Ayaka. "Had to send him away. Don't run. Please. I can tell you're worried about being found by the Rocket grunts, but I sorta need you here. Momiji is usually an *sshole, but now he's acting all nice around you. You're changing him for the better. Please don't run."

  • Ayaka returned Momiji's smile with one of her own, but her sapphire orbs lit up with alarm and her petite frame grew tense and stiff as she felt strong arms lift her from the ground. The mew did not mind being touched and since most others seemed to see her as doll or a plaything, she was use to being picked up. It didn't mean that she wanted to be though a refusal sat on her tongue yet never let her mouth since the quiet one, Kakeru, was talking directly to her that was a surprise itself since all he had done before was talk around her. His explanation seemed good enough for her she hadn't been sure how long her legs would of held her up anyway. She relaxed slightly yet was still highly on alert. She shifted her eyes over to Momiji and than back to Kakeru as he ran off ahead. "I am not a kid." She muttered more to herself than anything, she had seen kids before and she was almost positive that she was not one. She was not actually sure of her age her height might of matched a kid her body did not though. Her attention had been on figuring out where she might land on the age scale, so she jumped a bit when Kakeru spoke to her again. She looked up at him and give him her attention. His words had her tilting her head down so that her hair concealed her expression. "It wouldn't be bad if it was just them after me." She said gently, "But their not the only ones, and I can't stay in one place for too long or with the same people either. They always die and those who don't hate me.
