Patty followed behind, observing the halls. But when Kidd announced he'd found a mission, the girl decided to pay attention, and leaned over his shoulder. "So what is it?"
"It appears that multiple people are disappearing in the this village," Kidd explained, still looking at the paper. "It is supposedly haunted by a flesh eating ghost. 4 star Meister required."
Death the Kidd folded the paper and spun around, padding down the hall.
"Let's go."

SPIRIT! WTF! *Thwaps the cat demon*))
With the attire set on what it was, she was ready for the rest of the day. "Hey, Kirito?" Having come back from the store, she let her green eyes stray to the weapon. To which, lifted his fedora clad head, and cocked it to the left in question. "I am not permitted into any other classes until I have a weapon... and... You don't have a meister, right?"
Kirito's face lit up. "Nope!"
"I think... we're both idiots..."
Once they've shared a laugh, she linked arms with her bud, and patrolled out the door. "When we get to the academy, I would like to register as your meister if you're willing to become my weapon. Say... what are you, anyway? I never asked..."
"Ehe.... Don't laugh."
"I won't!" With a smile that was nothing less than encouragable, he continued.
"A bow and arrow."
"Seriously?!"
Going off of the the blush on his features he was a bit embarrassed. She elbowed him in the ribs, and that heat quickly disperse. "C'mon you weirdo, let's go register."
Okay... ALL OF YOU ARE ON THE LIST!!! *Points left and right like a crazy person* I WILL GET YOU ALL AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ALL OF YOU!! I WILL SAVE THE TABLES!!!)

Frozenfoot.... *holds up dead anime body* YOU ARE NEXT))
They both did a fist pump coming out of the registration office, much to her reluctance.
"We did it! We're partners for real!"
O the way down the hall was the argument born. Of course, they were already partners, says jo, but now they were officially, says kirito. It all came down to a sigh shared by the both of them as they approached the board.
"Hey, you're that reaper, Kidd!" Kirito was one that knew nearly everyone, and was freinds with most. He was likable... except ot all the praised by Kidd. "You're going on that mission for a fourth level meister aren't you? Figures death's son would claim it first..."
"Kirito... what are you doing?" she hissed.
"Mind if we tag along?"
By then she had grown bone white. What had she gotten herself into?
Death the Kidd looked up and watched the two closely, his golden gaze turning suddenly serious.
"I do not want you to die," the reaper muttered, looking to the side. "But, this is for level four Meisters."
Kidd pondered over this, grabbing his chin and looking back at them.
"Depends on your skills. Show me how agile you are."
Death the Kidd motioned Patty and Liz to step back and took a steady stance, eyes lazy.
"Attack me."
(._________.
*pushes table*)
Patty looked interested at this point, cheeks pink with their usual luster. Her blue eyes glittered. "You go, Kid!" She giggled, taking her hat off and fanning herself. It was a hot day, after all. "Just don't get distracted like with the bombs~!" At that memory, she had to stifle a laugh- but of course, Patty being Patty, she didn't do this very well.
ooc:
Wtf xDDDDDDD
"Much as I know you want to quiz me on my skill, I am currently aiming to practice resonating with my weapon as an archer. And even so, you don't have weapons to fight with, which would make it an unfair fight in a building that prohibits it in the first place."
She took hold of Kirito's hand, and he shifted into a bow with unlimited arrows contained in the pack. She slung first the bow, which was a nice birch wood, with a black handle and swirling designs along the body, and black dyed string, over her shoulder. The arrows themselves were tipped with crimson. A shimmering black body and ends that look, when moved, as if caught in a life violet fire. Those, to, were slung across her chest. With a single shimmer bearing determination to stand by her word in those pools of emerald iris's she turned to the board.
"In any case, you don't have to worry. I'll choose a lower level assignment.." she murmured.
Kidd raised an eyebrow at that, fingers twitching. He saw the determination in her eyes. But what for?
"Well," the reaper sighed, covering his forehead with a hand. "I guess you can prove yourself on the mission."
Death the Kidd looked over his shoulder.
"Patty. Liz. Weapon form. We're leaving now."
Liz nodded with a thumbs up and morphed into the gun, falling into the Shinigami's hands perfectly.
Kidd looked over at the girl, eyes narrowing slightly.
"Just promise me this; don't die."
Her eyes lazily slid from the board to the opposing reaper, and she lifted a shoulder. "You have my word. Otherwise, I don't think anyone would be able to handle Kirito." That last bit was a murmur. She began walking to the front but paused as she heard her name in a sort of mechanical call, realizing soon after, the familiar voice was her weapon.
"Yes?"
"Perhaps you shouldn't hold back your skill in this one. You remember what happened with those thugs and the kids-"
"Don't remind me, I know it was at fault of mine!" She had started walking again, hands slipping into the pockets of her pants. "Honestly, I cried about it for three days, was that not enough to take a hint and quiet down?"
Kirito's face flashed across the face of an arrow, and the bastard was grinning. "Sure thing, Jo."
"Why did I bother to pick you..."
As Kidd watched them bicker, he was curious as to why they're soul wavelengths were actually connected. He blinked a bit, realizing that it was much like the relationship he had with Patty and Liz. Kirito had an admiration for Joceline. The reaper shook his head before walking out of the school, pausing.
"I'm afraid you'll have to ride on my board with me, if you don't have any other means of transportation," Death the Kidd said tonelessly, holding out a free hand as he clutched both guns in the other. Black smoke bellowed out from his palm and formed into the shape of a skateboard, the Shinigami hopping on. He turned back to look at Joceline, the board starting to hover as he switched Patty over to his other hand.
Patty's face reflected in the shined metal of the pistol. Looking down, she smiled. "I think we're going to have fun today! What do you think, Liz?" she asked. She'd returned her sights to the other pistol. "If it's anything like the mummies, you better not freak out again, okay?" In all honesty, the weapon was actually a bit nervous for this new foe. It was a level four for a reason. But the reward in the end was worth it, and Patty generally didn't dwell on things for too long, anyway. Her mind was always somewhere else, it seemed.

He also enjoys flipping tables.
She pursed her lips, but slid her hand into his all the same, stepping onto the board and attempting to give him room. The board was a bit small, taking into consideration it normally houses only one meister.
XDDD)
"No promises, Patty," Liz said nervously, shoulders rising to touch her ears. "You can't blame me, monsters are terrifying!!"
Death the Kidd just shook his head slightly, the skateboard flying up into the sky and leaving a trail of smoke.
"Hang on tight," the reaper advised, having no effect as the board lurched forward and shot off to head for their destination.
She was already steadied. Ready for the kickback like at the base of a gun after a shot.
Her eyes were half lidded, and lazy, bangs whipping around her face as she kept her eyes forward. "What time are we to be back, Kirito?"
"Well, I have about six hours."
"Good." She pulled the rim of her fedora down a bit more to shadow her eyes, long hair getting tangled in the back of her form. Trailing after her like a black veil for a bride.
Death the Kidd let the bored drop, his feet lifting off for only a split second before he grabbed the edge and spun them around a few times.
"Kidd, what the heck?" Liz snapped, feeling sick.
"There was a hill there. I had to!" the reaper argued, standing up straight again. "Oooop...."
Uh-oh. He forgot about the girl on his bored. He looked over his shoulder with slight worry, checking to see if she held on and didn't fall off.
She looked back at him, her green eyes shimmering against the light of the fresh sun, her brow levitating at a curve. "Yes?"
Of course she was still on. And her arm had kinda snaked around his waist in the process.
She let go then, a faint smile at her lips, before turning back to peer at her surroundings.
"Making sure you didn't fall," he replied, looking forward again. Death the Kidd let his golden gaze rake across their surroundings, drinking in the view. It appeared as if they were in a forest now. He dipped down along with the board, eyes lazy as he cruised along. Soon, the village started to come into view. A stone wall surrounded it, cracked and falling apart. Kidd swooped lower to the ground until they hit the dirt, leaping off his bored and letting into mist back into his extended palm.
"Let's be careful," the Shinigami said quietly, lifting his guns. "We don't know what enemy we're going up against."
