Adante was a bit more reassured of her appearance, so he kept on walking. The only thing that stirred the little voice in the back of his head was how she spoke to him. Her words felt a bit suspicious...but if she insisted, he didn't want to burden her with his own worries. He knew Akari was independent and strong. So if this injury of sorts really wasn't as bad as he suspected, then he would take her word for it. " I'm taking your word for it... Just, be careful where you step, okay?" he looked at her kindly, his eyes settled with trust for the fae. He would be okay as long as the fae could handle whatever pain she insisted that didn't exist, his only anxiety rested on the fact that it could be worse than it really was.

Akari felt terrible, she lied to him and yet he's being so kind she avoided his gaze and gave a slight nod. "Alright.....thanks, Adante" She quickened her pace and let her left hind leg walk with her, she wanted to get used to the pain so it could go away quicker and it did, slightly. Akari looked around, upset, but of course, being the secluded she-wolf she is, she hid it with a smile. "Okay I cant wait to get home im tired!" she chuckled and hauled her small frame up a rocky ledge.
-
Adante grinned and leaped onto the ledge alongside her, his paw-pads strangely cool on the cold surface. "Well then, we should get going!" he barked teasingly, his large frame surging forward as he pounced onto the ground again. Then, his gait slowed as something crossed his mind, a fresh remembrance of the event that stirred only a few minutes ago. "Akari...do you think something might have startled those deer back there?" he re-painted the picture of panic and fleeting elk in his mind.
-
Akari leapt off the ledge also and landed easily next to him. She felt confusion wash over her at his question, but of course hunters knew these kinds of things because they were brought up to hunt and read things. Akari nodded and closed her eye "Well...to be honest I didn't know at first but....that's the look deer's get when their chased down..." She thought again for a while and spoke again to clear her words up better. "What I'm trying to say is, that animals like deer gain that expression when their being hunted down, kind a like a human trying to shoot him but we, wolves would've heard it" She added "And not much carnivores hunt dear and besides big cats don't really live in the forest and its rare to see one" She smiled at her logic and guessed "Well a decent population of wolves live here so....probably a wolf scared it but seemingly to fail to catch the animal" Akari gazed at him with a small smile, hoping it wasn't to confusing "Understand what I'm saying?" If Adante was a hunter like herself he might have understood it more but maybe....Nah Adante is smart I'm pretty sure he understands she thought to herself as she awaited his reaction.

Ooc; guys I may be I active for a few days, my horse is really sick :/
-
OOC: that's fine when you return we can give you a recap and I hope he/she get better very soon!
-
ooc; aww, tell your horse I said 'hi' ;3
also, I think that their should be like a human invasion or something. Like, as if the deer heard the humans and that's why they were running, but they didn't shoot.
ic; Adante flicked his ear, his tail curling and uncurling in concern. "Yeah, maybe your right... but his nerves were still prickling with uneasiness. "But wouldn't we have scented the other wolf? We should start establishing this territory to keep them out." he paced on his four-paws, the soil cushioning his paw-pads as he traced back and forth. "I think Kapu still needs to know. We shouldn't be welcoming any sort of strangers." his gaze averted to the fae, searching for a reply as he thought it over again. again. again. Finally, he stopped in his tracks and sighed. "Sorry Akari, I know I'm making it worst than it seems...but I have a bad feeling about it."
-
OOC: Hmm yeah! that sounds like a good plot and so like the people find us and try capturing us or......?
IC:
Akari studied the brute's words and took in a small breath and nodded "Yeah you may be right we would have smelled the wolf that chased the deer away...." Akari closed her eyes and sighed before opening them and she felt a shutter run down her back and thought to herself wait if its not a wolf, cat, or bear then what else would roam these parts of the forest? Akari trembled slightly she knew exactly what other creature could come but she didn't think about it so she just swatted away the thought and looked at Adante "Ok lets start!" She wagged her fluffy long tail to encourage him.
-
ooc; Well, since it's a plot I think they should let the leader know about their suspicions...and then maybe they go check out the border and that's when they are attacked?
ic; Adante felt his pulse grow in his neck. "We need to let Kapu know about this." he suddenly appeared at Akari's side, giving her a friendly nudge of encouragement. "C'mon, we don't have time to waste." he murmured, before picking up his pace ahead of her. He stole a glance over his shoulder to make sure she could catch up as his paws pounded the warm earth, spitting out soil from behind.
-
Occ: Okay sounds good to me but... since he/she wont be on for a bit should we pretend he replies and stuff? (Sorry if im being a bit annoying)
Ic: Akari nodded and she sprang forward, forgetting the pain that stung her paw. She loved to run and she did it with pride she sped forward, making long strands with her long lean, yet small form. Akari was now running side by side next to the brute her tongue slightly rolled out only revealing the tip, there was a smile on her muzzle but that smile was to cover up the terrible thoughts that fogged up her mind.
