  • Akari's ears perked up in surprise when she saw Adante flash her a flirty wink then she felt her fur burn, and not because of the heat the sun provided that afternoon. She quickly shrugged it away before she could reveal her surprise and embarrassment, but she was smiling to herself. She thought a moment by what he said and nodded. "That's true she does seem like the type to be independent..." she looked up at him and without thinking she said firmly "Well whether she may not believe that she may find love I believe that she can find love" She quickly added so he doesn't get the wrong idea "I mean come on, everyone can find love ..right? Everyone deserves to find and be loved" She didn't care if it sounded ridiculous "Even if it takes a while it'll come...it always come" she approved her words by giving a curt nod to herself.

  • Adante soaked in her judgment, nodding in approval. "See, I'm all ears for love... I just hope that Monti...get's to feel the same way I'm feeling now." his eyes lightly skirted her gaze, a sort of merriment pulsing within them. He was quite the flirt, but not the kind with huge intentions. He didn't try to pressure his skills with romance too much, it just felt overwhelming. In fact, he said everything with a kind heart or a laugh. Adante flicked his tail happily. "Ohh, look at that. The creek..." he averted his eyes to the stretch of water flowing before them.

  • She just stared at him with slightly wide eyes and thought to herself with a snort hes unbelievable! she shook her head and chuckled "Hey im coming!" she dashed past him and skidded to a halt at the shoreline she studied the outline and looked ahead to find a big pond that connected to the creek. She smiled and started to jog over to the pond. When Akari reached the pond she stepped in, letting the water seep between her toes, she sighed at the coolness she then leaned down and started lapping up th water thirstily, all the talking had made her mouth go dry.

  • She then sat down at the creek looking at the caribou thinking. "How am I going to get across." She said then noticed a shallow part of the water. "Aha." She said slowly then walked along the shallow part of the water. When she reached the other side she shook her fur then chased after the one that she thought was the weakest. All of the caribou then ran every were.

  • Adante felt the slight tremors beneath his paws. He frowned, and they grew stronger. Suddenly, from the corner of his eye, he saw a doe come charging in his direction. "What the?" he easily slipped out of the way and joined Akari on the other side of the creek. "Weird..." he murmured. He didn't know there were deer on this side of the creek. He squinted his optics at the silhouette of another deer, and then another...crowding in towards the creek in a frantic frenzy. "Akari! get down." he instinctively jumped into the shallow pond behind her, flinching at the sound of hooves crashing along the shoreline of the pond. Carefully, he lifted his muzzle to get a taste of the air. The atmosphere was reeked with caribou and fear...and, a wolf?

  • The black wolf tried to get out of one of the caribou's way but way kicked in the side then started being kicked around like a rag doll. She whined with each kicking that she got. "Help!" She whined loudly then noticed that they were all across the creek. She was glad that she wouldn't get kicked anymore but couldn't get up.

  • Akari instinctively launched forward towards the caribou, the running deer eyes went wide with fear as Akari grabbed it's right ankle and she slipped on the slippery rock but as she fell she made the caribou fall with her, together they both crashed she groaned in pain but she hopped up and launched again at the sprawling beast and with one quick motion she grabbed it's neck and held it until its kicks got lighter and slower and the light from its eyes faded.

  • Adante's optics widened and he quickly ran to her side. "Akari, what were you thinking?" his voice sharpened out of habit, out of fear. He didn't want to fae to get hurt, especially over something like this. Adante swallowed the thickness in his throat, his eyes hardened. [i]"We have plenty of food going to waste back at home, there was no excuse to risk something like that!" his voice was lowered, softer, but filled with concern. He needed her to understand his pain for her to jump during the midst of running caribou. What if she got trampled?

  • Akari finally got back to her senses and hung her head "Yes, Adante..im sorry" she felt like a disciplined pup getting lectured for doing something bad but she understood that he was worried so she got up and slightly limped towards him and nosed his cheek in apology she felt a bit embarrassed but she wanted to do it to prove she meant it.

  • Shadow stood up bleeding and realized that she had to cross the creek again in order to get to her home. "Really?" She said frustrated then laid back down.

  • Adante was a bit relieved by her apology, but his anxiety was still on edge. He closed his eyes in remembrance as she nuzzled his cheek to ensure her apology. Her limp reminded him of how close he was to losing her, and he couldn't stand the pain the thought brought him. Even though her nosing his cheek wasn't much, he secretly embraced ever minute of it. Finally, he stepped back, casting his gaze down toward her leg. "Are you hurt?"

  • Ooc; sorry I haven't posted guys! I've been busy.

"You know, life is better when you have fun.", Dicey sat up and locked into the brute's eyes with her own grey orbs. She looked silly trying to be so serious with the smudge of dirt on her forehead that she had aqquired whole rolling around like a pup. His ears were still crisp and white, the grey that had taken over most of her fur had not yet reached her ears, they resembled her once pure coat.

Kapu sprawled out across the entrance of his den, basking in the sun. His green eyes were screwed shit as the rays of sunlight warmed his ebony coat. He wasn't sleeping, he just had nothing else to do.

  • Kapu simply stared at Dicey for a few minutes, trying to catch on to her words. It didn't seem to really linger on him for it to take effect. "That life must be nice. I would take you seriously, but I don't really know how...to have fun?" his tail wagged in his own embarrassment, casting his eyes to a leaf resting at his paws.

Monti quietly lifted her gaze. Seeing the Alpha male soak up some sun made her consider talking to him. It felt like a nice, friendly thing to do. But then her thoughts crashed around her, weighing the negatives of the argument onto her shoulders. The fae suddenly didn't feel in the mood to be social, so she flicked her ears and averted her eyes.

  • Shadow stood up and and jumped into the shallow part of the creek with an empty stomach. As she struggled to get across she noticed other dogs, she wanted to stop and stand there before getting closer but couldn't she just kept swimming ahead until she reached shore.

  • Ooc; hehe you called Kudos Kapu (;

Dicey cocked her head and gave him a small smile, her tail beginning to wag with his, "Well I could teach you how! Then maybe you can be happy." Her grey eyes were bright and full of hope, she was beggining to take a liking to this brute, not in a romantic way, but she was curious of what he was hiding deep down, she was curious to see his playful side.

Kapu let out a long sigh and rolled onto his belly, placing his massive head between his paws. He watched as the fae sat there alone and wondered what was on her mind. He made no attempt to get up and go talk to her, instead he just laid there and watched as she got lost in her own thoughts.

  • OOC: I iz back sorry I fell asleep it got really late lol

IC: Akari secretly wanted it to last longer but it couldn't or it would've been awkward but she raised her left hind leg and brought her head down and nosed it, it stung but she didn't was to worry him, she didn't want to be a burden to the brute. She just shook her head, "Nope, im good!" she gave a fake smile and stood up straighter "Ok lets go" she nudged him ahead of her so he wont catch her wincing. Akari sighed softly to herself as she casted her blue orbs down as she urged him forward.

  • ooc; just noticed that, lol xD

ic; Kudos's eyes widened with curiosity, wondering if it was even possible to teach someone how to be happy. As he observed the fae, he noticed that happiness seemed to come a bit more natural to Dicey. "You can do that? Teach me....hm... Good luck with that!" his voice still seemed on edge, but more out of habit this time. For his first part, he was trying to be happy, he really was...it just didn't feel like him. Trying to be an exuberant fellow, to him, was like slipping into a new skin that was too small. He sighed and secretly bit hit tongue to keep from talking for a moment.

Adante hesitated, looking over his shoulder at Akari as she urged him forward. "Are you sure your not hurt or anything? I couldn't trust myself if you really were." he looked away, gradually moving forward in an obeying manner. Akari looked okay...but instinct told him he should double check. It only felt right to make sure a pack-mate was going to be alright. It came naturally in the minds of wolves, except, maybe Kudos. He didn't seem to have much heart for anyone anymore.

  • Akari nodded and coughed slightly "Yeah, im um, fine" she winced as she forced her leg down forced herself on but she made sure to lag a bit so he wouldn't noticed anything wrong with the fea. She sighed in relief as he obeyed and nodded "right ok now we go home" She smiled and straightened her posture as she, for a split second , forgot about the pain.
