  • Adante cringed from the impact. When he peeled open his eyes, he saw himself on top of the familiar fae. There were no injuries, so he gave a light laugh "Oh, sorry about that..." his laugh conceited as he stood up, his face hovering over Akari's. Though he never cared to notice before, something about her made him stop to think. "Adante!" his gaze snapped back into reality as Monti pushed a shoulder into him. "Get...off!" she muttered, throwing all her effort into one last shove. Adante chuckled and gingerly stepped to the side. "Okay, okay, calm down Monti."

  • Ooc; sorry guys I've been working!

Kapu smiled at the sight of his new pack, his new family. "The buck is over here guys.", he padded over to the buck, it wasn't the largest kill that he's ever seen, but it was plenty for the whole pack to get full off of, "You guys can eat until you're full." He bobbed his head towards the buck before padding off towards the den.a warm summer breeze ruffled his fur and brought the scent of another wolf into his nose. His green orbs narrowed as they searched for the wolf. "Reveal yourself." He said lowly. "Calm down Kapu." The familiar voice filled his ears, the thick accent wasn't easy to mistake. "Dicey?" His voice was tremouring and the white fae revealed herself. She looked different than Kapu had remembered, her once crisp white coat had a grey tint, her blue eyes were also grey. "You look so different.." Kapu's voice was full of disbelief, the fae smelled like his sister, but her eyes made him second guess. "It's me, Kapu, it's Dicey. I've been following you since you fled from the catastrophe of the last pack. A hunter came close to killing me, but I escaped his weapon and followed you." Kapu's confused expression changed and his tail began to wag. He shoved his muzzle into his sisters neck, tears brimming at his eyes. "Come meet the pack." He whispered, padding back over to the four wolves.

  • Akari felt her fur get get hot of embarrassment, she tried her best but she stuttered "I-its f-fine" she awkwardly got up but casted her eyes down and shook her head, pretending to get the dust off. At the voice of the Alpha she smiled "Yeah let's eat!" She quickly turned and walked away quickly towards the huge bull that rested on the ground, untouched, she could still smell that it's fresh and she glanced at them as she waited but froze when she saw a grey-ish female that seemed to have white fur in the past and now grey blue eyes that showed stress. Akari just starred.

  • Adante's eyes lit up with a new feverish desire, training his optics on the fae's hindquarters as she padded towards the carcass. Monti tilted her head into the ruff of his coat, catching him off guard. "Stop staring you big fur-ball." she hissed at him playfully, and he laughed along with her. Monti didn't seem to mind his obvious ways of showing his love, in fact, she seemed a bit enlightened by it. Adante was taken by surprise as the fae butted him in the hindquarters, "You should probably go talk to her some time." Monti smiled optimistically as she brushed by her older brother. Her smile. It was simply too contagious for him to give in to, so he nodded and watched his only sister get her fill.

He forgot about Kudos. The tall brute appeared beside him like a breeze in the night, raising a distasteful glare at him. "Ha. Love. You actually believe in that kind of stuff." the male snickered before trotting out towards the fresh carcass. Adante growled lowly to himself before following his brother's paw-steps.

  • Dicey smiled at Akari, her grey eyes gleaming. "I am Dicey, Kapu's sister. I know my appearance is a bit unexpected, but I have been trying to catch up to my little brother for quite some time."
Kapu scoffed and gazed down at his sister, "Little brothe huh?" His muzzle was pulled into a wide smile, his tail still wagging. "I hope everyone gets enough to eat, if not Akari's kill is still in the woods. Thank you for that." He said, looking to Akari.

  • Monti raised her eyes tenderly, her gaze showing respect and gratitude towards the higher ranked male. "Actually, I think this will do. Thank you though, for letting us stay...er...join." she glanced over at Adante for help, and he pleasantly dipped his head in approval. Monti saw Kudos beside him, and her gaze crumbled beneath his stare, although, there was no anger or disapproval in it.

  • Kapu sat infront of the bull and dipped his head to Monti, "It's no problem really. It's good to have some company here. It gets a bit lonely not having anyone around." He took a bite from the ell, though he wasn't very hungry.
"What is your name?" Dicey suddenly spoke, her eyes locked on Kudos. She was sitting on her haunches, her tail neatly wrapped around her hind paws. Her grey eyes were soft and kind, welcoming, even. She radiated happiness. Surely this brute wouldn't be rude to her.

  • Monti blinked her eyes happily. "Lonely? Don't you have Akari...and um, the other one?" her voice depleted awkwardly, realizing she didn't know the other male's name. Anyways, she knew there were two other wolf's accompanying the Alpha when they first met them. "I don't think it's so bad. I've been in a trio my whole life." she stopped to fill her mouth with elk meat as she waited for his reply

Kudos stopped mid-chew. Was someone actually talking to him? He, of all creatures? He quickly swallowed his cheek-full and looked up to see the fae. Uncertain at first, he looked over his shoulder to see if she was really speaking to him.

  • "Didn't you hear me?", A small frown came across Dicey's face. She was still staring at the brute , who seemed to be confused. She giggled at his puzzled expression, he didn't seem to believe she was talking to him.

"When you come from a family as large as mine, you get lonely quick. The other wolf is my half brother, I've and Akari are both new. Before them I had been alone for quite some time..." Kapu's green orbs flooded with sadness. Flashbacks of his once thriving pack filled his mind, everything was fine until the hunters wiped them out. It made him happier that Dicey had survived, but all of his friends and family were brutally murdered for their pelts. The hunters showed no mercy, they even captured the pups. He shook the thoughts from his head and turned his gaze back to Monti.

  • (Sorry got busy)

Akari smiled at the fea "I'm Akari" she happily said as she sat next to Monti. She leaned towards the bull and pulled on the left hind leg of the bull and ate only a small portion. She got full oddly quick and stopped a three bites. She looked up at them and smiled "Heh it feels like a true pack already" she whispered

  • Monti exhaled shakily, suddenly left without an appetite. "I'm really sorry for you loss." she had never been in a pack before, was that something to expect? What if she lost Kudos, or Adante? She numbly bit her lower lip, playing the grief and sadness in her mind over and over again, as if she really had lost one her brothers. The closest she had been to losing someone as family may have been her parents. But the unknown disappearance of her parent's didn't hurt her at all, not a single bit. Kudos had always told her that they abandoned her out of the ugliest of their hearts, so she never felt any sympathy for them. Kudos was the only one who actually remember what they look like. Anyways, her parents were nothing compared to losing an entire pack. She flicked her ear worriedly, "I've never really lost anyone." she admitted with a low breath, looking over to acknowledge Akari with a faint smile.

Kudos's brown optics widened. She was really talking to him. "Uh..." he cleared his throat uncertainly, his gaze skirted hers. "I'm Kudos. Your Dice...Dicey, right?" he hesitated on his words, not familiar with carrying on a good conversation. He had to teach himself to not want to fight, or argue for once. Gosh. Pack life was frustrating.

  • Akari just chuckled amused at Kudos "Hmm looks like Kudos got shy all of a sudden?" She stuck out her tongue out slightly with a grin. Kudos was obviously frustrated, might as well take advantage right?

(It'll be waaay longer when I get home)

  • ooc; that's okay ;3

ic; Monti's eyes suddenly lit up like bright bulbs. "Kudos? No way, I have to see!" she laughed, attempting a whisper as she stole a long glance over Akari's shoulder. She couldn't believe what she was seeing, of all things? Impossible. The whiskers on her muzzle twitched with amusement, and she couldn't help but hold back a laugh. She noticed that even Adante was watching their brother from afar.

As he waited for a response, Kudos took a typical glance towards Monti and them to see how they were doing. It was just natural, for his eyes to move anywhere but on the speaker. It was only a few seconds, since it never really came across to his mind how Monti and Akari were doing, because he really didn't care. It was only casual...except, it wasn't at all casual. Kudos had to take a second glance. Immediately, he felt his fur burn with humiliation and anger. Monti. Akari. Adante. They were all staring at him! Did they think he couldn't hold a conversation with a fae ? He scowled, shooting infuriated glares to them all, but he didn't at all get the response he had hoped for. Adante rolled onto his back, practically choking for air in the midst of his laughing fit.

  • Ooc; it's fine. And Shadow you're accepted but I'm not really messing with ranks until I see who's active. Akari has her desired rank because she's proven to be active. :) xx

Dicey giggled at the way he got choked up, "Yes, I am Dicey. Pleased to meet you, Kudos." She playfully batted her paw at Akari, not wanting her and Kudos to fight. She was a peaceful fae for the most part, and she hated fighting. In her eyes, family should all get along, blood or not.

Kapu sighed deeply and stared at his massive paws, "It isn't easy. I wish my family was still around. Don't get me wrong, I'm so delighted to have to guys in the pack. To have my sister here. I just hope and pray that we grow. Small packs are targeted in the eyes of the hunters, unless they are brave like the ones who stole my loved ones. Right now, we are easy to take down, but don't worry, okay? I won't let anything happen to any of you." His voice cracked at the end of his sentence, menacing tears threatening to spill over any second. He blinked them away and gritted his teeth, looking back up to Monti. His heart lurched at the thought of something happening to his new family, he silently swore to himself that he would die before he let something happen to them.

  • Akari chuckled and pawed Adante in his muzzle "Shhhh! Don't disturb him!" She saw his angry glance as she held back a laugh. And nodded "Okay, okay, let's go we don't want to interrupt him now do we?" She chuckled as she nudged the duo.

  • ooc; oh, haha. that's okay. We could pretend he never said that, or that it's already been said x3

ic; Adante stood up, exhaling a happy sigh as he was finally content with all the laughter he got out of his brother's humiliation.

Monti grinned slyly as she and Akari quickly found another place to settle down, somewhere that wouldn't bother Kudos's one-in-a-lifetime moment.

Kudos quirked his lips, unsure of what to say next. He could still hear the ghost of his siblings' laughter burning into his ears. He didn't feel comfortable saying any more. The last thing he needed was for the entire pack to seek his weaknesses in being social. Kudos groaned and listed his head to the side, "I knew this would be a bad idea." he muttered half to himself.

  • Ooc; oh the joys of doing this off your phone

Dicey gave a small smile to the two faes before looking back to Kudos. "Follow me, i can tell you're uncomfortable talking here." She shook her pelt and began padding towards the dens. With a massive leap, she jumped on top of the slab of rock that provided a roof for the den and began to pad towards the back, where a large tree was growing from the ground below. It provided shade and it cooled the rock, making it a decent place to chat in the summer.
