Three hundred years after Armageddon. The New Earth Republic and its ancient enemies have once again fallen into chaos and turmoil.
Armageddon was an apocalypse that devastated the face of the Earth. At the break of 2201 there was world war, not seen for three hundred years. The war included every nation of the world, but when the war finally ended in 2211, only the United States, China, Russia, and India remained. However, what they did not know was that South Korea had survived underground. For three years no one heard of them, but during that three years they built an arsenal of nuclear, quantum, and antimatter weapons. Armageddon happened in 2214 when South Korea bombed all four remaining nations. However, the power of those weapons was too much. Along with killing several billion people, the Earth was shifted by all the energy, and started to drift toward the sun. The nations made a pact. They built an escape vehicle, a floating city, and launched themselves far away. South Korea's victory turned into their doom. They perished with the Earth in a fiery death.
When the escape vehicle finally found a habitable world, the four nations joined together as the New Earth Republic, severing previous antagonism. They colonized nearby planets and prospered for three hundred years.
But Korea is Back. And stronger than ever before.
No one knows how they got here, but they managed to escape death and build a massive army. They are no longer Koreans, nor are they even humans anymore. Their senses have been massively elevated due to living so close to the sun for three hundred years, and they are able to withstand extreme temperatures and go for years without food or water. They are super humans, and their population of 1.7 trillion dwarfs the human population. While New Earth was sitting for three hundred years, the new species managed to colonize thousands of worlds and enslave thousands of species. They created an empire. The Great Wyrd, they call it. And now they are here to enslave New Earth. War has broken once more, and it seems hopeless.
