Eve looked to the closest thing she had to a friend in the pack and nodded. “We found a pup, Illya said it wasn't one of yalls, so I told her to go bring it to Bedrock.” She only half-lied, since she didn't tell Illya to take it back but did tell her they were going to. Evangeline's eyes wandered to the sky, which was exploding in the saturated hues of sunset. “We better get a move on, night's here are brutal. Mind leading the way?” She woofed to the might-as-well-be-Alpha. Her thick tail swept the ground behind her, for no reason other than to do something. As they started walking, she turned to Bones, “So why have you and Bedrock not sealed the deal? Don't you want the position - and the wolf for that matter.” She asked innocently, with a smirk at the end. Eve had heard some of the others complaining about their reluctance, and in all honesty Eve thought Bones would be a great Alpha, and be good support for Bedrock.

Fang is hunting, and she might need some help. Its hard for a wolf to take down a deer singlehandedly.
-
Maple joined in fully on the fun with Cress, the two wolves running around and spraying water everywhere in the stream. He ran underneath her and nipped her tail tip, her wet tail slapping him in the face and nearly knocking him off of his paws. She howled when he did, chasing him through the water and letting him chase her in return. "Tired yet?" She said with a yip, noticing his huge yawn.
Cress nodded with another exhaustive yawn, slouching in the water halfway out of the stream. "I want to go to sleep." He slurred, relieved when he felt his sister's teeth meet in his scruff and lift him off of the ground. He swayed while Maple carried him back home, watching the ground and coughing up some water with a wheeze.

Bones nodded, staring at the sky as the sun hung low in the sky. She looked at Eve, her 'eyebrows' raising at the last part. Then she laughed softly, more of a chuckle. "Time will tell," was all that she said to her companion. "Come on, now, let's get back before the night follows us." She turned and started off through the foliage, still regaining its luster of spring after the harsh winter. She dashed on silent paws, moving like the shadow of the day, the offspring of the night, until they reached the mouth of the caves.

Eve followed, and despite her fair amount of grace and silence, she couldn't do what Bones did. She couldn't disappear. And the dying light played across her crimson coat, making it come to life, didn't help in her attempt. When they reached the caves, Eve gazed into the black hole that was her home now. She glanced over her shoulder to make sure that Polaris was following, then she closed her eyes and plunged into the blackness. Even in the darkness, her fur seemed to glimmer, a residue of the light that was extinguished only moments ago. She paused, to allow Bones to pass her and lead her practically blind self through the already disorienting tunnel system. -
Illya was waiting for them to return to the camp. When Bones entered she dipped her head in respect...a different gesture than the multiple times before. She had realized Bones and Bedrock looked good together, he needed support from somebody he loved as well as they loved him back. The fae had the off white pup between her paws.
-
BONES
Bones followed Eve into the mouth of the cave. The caves and their winding tunnels did not mean being lost to her, it meant security and home. She trotted through the thick darkness, only lit gently by the glowing magma pulsing around the corners of the rock. She swept the tip of her long black tail briefly across Eve's face every few minutes to lead her through the dark unfamiliar tunnels. Finally, they came to the main camp area, slightly more brightly lit than the winding tunnels, the lava running from the vertical walls of the cave, the only light source. She watched as Illya dipped her head, and Bones nodded slightly to the omega, noticing that her fur was not covered with thick dirt and ash as usual, shining a bright white in contrast to the darkness. Bones continued on, also noticing the pup between Illya's paws. Strange. Very strange. Pups were springing up like flowers recently, loners flooding in.
-
Illyasviel bowed her head now, in complete respect...no longer the arrogant fur ball she used to be. Thanks to Eve and Polaris. She flicked an ear, she was still way too skinny to be normal sized for a wolf...it would take a lot of time to get her malnutrition solved. She watched the sky silently "Sorry to bother you this late Miss Bones." Illya barked softly and nudged the pup forward "Eve found her, she's injured and doesn't have a mother." She watched the more likely future alpha female "What should we do?"
-
BONES
Bones looked thoughtfully from Illya to Kamoli. The small white youth was petite and pathetic. She knew that the pup would never survive out in the forest on its own, especially not in the still brisk post-winter winds and definitely not injured. She inhaled slowly. "Hmm, she'll need time to recover. She looks pitifully skinny as well, perhaps grab her a bite to eat in the meantime. You as well. You look like a skeleton," observed Bones to Illya. "Nevermind the feeding order. That is for another day. Both of you go eat up, and then speak to Bedrock about the pup. I'm sure he'll know exactly what to do." The dark fae glanced towards the brute, who was still distracted with Pvecha. Her tail swished and she looked at Illya once more, her one amber eye and one silver one focused despite the thick darkness.
-
Illyasviel dipped her head "right away. Miss Bones." She responded but as she turned to leave and. Bones said food she glanced at her and nodded. Taking Kamoli she gently placed her with Evageline before noddiing to Bones and heading. Out to hunt, her stunning green eye with flecks was still covered by bangs

Eve watched the confrontation from behind Bones, her eyes still having trouble adjusting to the dim light creeping through the walls. She smirked at the pup and its overseer, and then used her thick wooly tail to safeguard the child. As the pale Fae left, Evangeline flicked an ear in farewell but said nothing. Once the omega was far from earshot, Eve's smile broke. Her lighthearted air vanished, and she now looked to Bones, “She used to be a loner, now she whimpers on the floor for scraps. I used to be a loner, and I'd sooner die than spend what time I have left whimpering at anyone's feet.” She said, her blue pools alight - bursting with azure fire in the faded light. -
Fang leapt forward, howling. The strong buck tried to get her off of his back, but she was no match for him. Fang bit deep into the arteries just below his jaw, and he crumpled to the ground, his breathing slow. It died moments later. Fang dragged it back to camp and ate her fill.
-
"Just sleep, we're almost home." Maple said softly, the main den coming into her eyesight while the trees cast shadows across her path, swaying in the breeze. She reached the entrance and set down Cress at the deepest part of the den, tucking leaves in around him and licking his forehead when he drifted off almost immediately into a slumber. She then went back outside to watch the sky a tad bit longer, her tail swishing quietly back and forth.
-
Illyasviel nodded to fang on her way out and traced her senses towards where a small herd of deer was. She circled the herd, her eyes glittering as she watched them. She soon spotted a doe that had an air of sickness around her. That was her target. The fae slowly creeped up and leaped forward, chasing the herd. The doe struggled to keep up and Illya simply leaped from below, her neck and bit the life giving vein. Blood stained her white face as she dragged it to the forest and ate.her jaws tearing at the meat she hadn't had in forever.
Kamoli watched Illya pad off and whined. She felt safe with the omega but as Eve put her tail over to safeguard her, she lay down and began to lick her shoulder gently, getting blood on her teeth as she tried to clean herself off.
-
Bones watched Illya go, and then glanced briefly at Eve. "Everyone finds their place." She paused, inhaling throughan open mouth. Strange, she'd really found gher place. It was a long time coming, but fairly easy. A smile crept onto her lips, strangely devilish in the dark of the caves. "I guess that just isn't yours." She stared at the the tunnel that led to the surface. Dark and uncharted and winding, yet with the promise of light at the end. Strange how many things in life could be like that. Bones turned slightly, looked at Eve, and then at the magma. "It's less of what position you find yourself in, and more of what position your attitude puts you in. Someone like you and I? We could never be an omegas. It's just not in our nature." She inhaled once more, glancing at the fiery wolf beside slightly behind her. "Sometimes you have to do drastic things to get what you want. What you know that you deserve. There's no shame in that." A small smile. Many unspoken words. Bones certainly had a nature, it wasn't always a good one.

OOC: Uh, what happened while I was gone? Did I miss anything important?
Sorry if I mix anything up.IC: Bedrock could no longer stand and wait for Pvecha to continue. Patience wasn't one of his virtues - if he had any virtues. Bedrock lowered his gaze to the ground for a moment before sighing and turning towards the rest of his pack. He tilted his head at a small pup next to Eve who he didn't recognize. Bedrock padded forward and lifted his head so the pup understood he was the alpha. "Who is this?" He asked, directing his question to nobody in particular. He glanced at Bones who was talking to Evangeline. Bedrock knew sooner or later he would have to appoint her alpha female.
But then, he remembered the End Wolves muttering something about this. They all knew Bedrock loved Bones. They all knew that Bedrock wasn't the best wolf to be leading this pack especially with Bones. But the pack doesn't know that. Bedrock was glad that the End Wolves could only speak to alphas and the Voce Magnus. Bedrock, lost in thought as he stared at Bones, felt awkward for blanking out for a couple seconds. He glanced back at the pup and frowned as he observed it.
Polaris went on a small hunt by himself and caught two rabbits. It was the easiest thing to catch for him for he was used to hunting rabbits up North. He carried the two rabbits by their legs and found the entrance to the cave. He entered and relished the switch from the Surface to the caves. Polaris was confused by the earlier events today. Evangeline and Illyasviel went off to somewhere and left him alone. That is when he went hunting. But now he was back in the warm confines of the camp.
Polaris dropped the two rabbits onto the cave floor and absentmindedly listened to the echo of the thump. He raised his head and noticed that there was a couple wolves around a small pup. Polaris walked over to the alpha who was asking what her name was. Polaris dipped his head respectfully to Evangeline and Bones.
"Her name is Kamoli, if I heard correctly," he replied to Bedrock. [/fancypost]
-
Kamoli squeaked at the appearance of Bedrock and hid her head fur bristling slightly as she eyed the alpha male. "M-My name is Kamoli..." She murmured. That was all she said. She wasn't mute she just preferred not to speak.
Illyasviel finished her share of prey and washed her muzzle off so no blood showed and then began to drag the doe to camp, seeing Bedrock available and talking she simply dropped the kill in the center of the camp and sat down, her bangs still up and showing the blue flecked orb that was curious about what her alpha was thinking.
Kamoli saw Illya pad back in a yipped a happy soft yip and limped to her, sitting between her two paws and glancing at all other wolves. She liked the alpha, Polaris, and Illya the most and Eve sort of. The pup definately didn't take a liking to Bones but that's because she was big and intimidating.
-
Maple looked over her shoulder at Cress once the forest began to grow dark, deciding to head out and do some night hunting, unless the deer carcass remained, of course. She bid her brother a silent farewell with a wave of her tail before bounding off into the creeping black of the trees, her eyes scanning the forest with caution and ears listening for any signs of danger or prey. She soon found the deer carcass and wasn't surprised to find it was nearly gone, and with scents other than coyotes on it to add to that.

Eve took comfort in her companions words, spoken or not - she took a liking to the other Fae's fierceness that seemed to frighten the others in her pack. Evangeline glanced up when she saw the Alpha, and nodded a greeting - enough to show respect but not setting herself any lower then him. She let out a bark of laughter at his question, “Good question. She hasn't said a word to me since I found her. That omega of yalls said she wasn't part of the pack, so I had Iylla take her here, if you don't mind.” Her azure eyes flickered over to the massive male from earlier, and returned his head dip stiffly. Eve nodded at his words, “Ah, would have never guessed. Can we keep it?” She barked, a condescending note worming its way into the ending, but she flashed a broken smirk to show she meant no offense. -
Illya glanced at Kamoli between her paws. She blinked but didn't make a move to remove her from between her two paws. She had eaten yes but it would take many more good meals for her to get back in shape, being a former loner she had gotten the omega rank and played it well , Lapis said she'd made a great omega...a very good one on fact. The fae hadn't stopped acting like that, she had even kept doing so to try and remember Lapis' praise. She gently licked the pup, white fur gleaming like a beacon in the darkness. If she were still mud covered...you wouldn't be able to see her clearly. Now you couldn't miss her white fur pure as snow and piercing green eyes, left one with blue flecks. She had pushed her bangs out and glanced around...for once in the camp uncovering the blue flecked orb.
Kamoli eyed Eve warily, showing her liking to her slightly...but because she'd taken care of her while Illya was away. She glanced into the piercing orbs of Illya and found an unknown meaning in them; kindness, love, and something else...something the pup couldn't place. She blinked with her stunning green eyes and turned to look at Eve as she said 'can we keep it' she stiffened and a low growl rumbled in her chest...she wasn't an it...but a her! She calmed down as Illya licked her and stopped growling, reluctantly laying down but happy.
