    Redd
    ---

A roar ripped through the ebony night, pouring fright into the hearts of nearby Herbivores. The Tyrannosaur was on the hunt, one of the predators that was well-known throughout Seraphina. In a world that was melting and becoming more savage, it was hard for dinosaurs to remain well-known, as so many die everyday from the struggles that the Paradise now provides. But Redd wasn't to be put down so easily: She knew how to survive. She knew when to hunt and when to remain in hiding, lurking in the shadows of the forest. And at the moment, it was time to hunt.

Unlike most dinosaurs, who came out when herds of herbivores were migrating, during the day, this Tyrannosaur came out at night, and only ever left her sanctuary in the forest to get a drink from a nearby stream. She didn't see the point in losing your life, hunting during the daytime, when you could hunt at night, when many dinosaurs couldn't see very well, and were oblivious to the danger that the shadows guarded.

Her gigantic, slim-figured body moved almost soundlessly through the thick, lush forest: If it wasn't for her massive feet, which crushed leaves and twigs, and her snorts of breath, she would have been absolutely silent. Strong muscles rippled beneath her light green scales with each amazingly large stride. Her bright yellow eyes took in every motion, every small detail, and as she snorted with breaths, she tasted the scents of the woodland around her.
A small opening stood a few more feet in front of her, that of which led out into a possible field or waterhole. The perfect place to snatch a quick meal.

  • A loud and powerful roar came from a spinosaurus that was not to far from Redd's position then came a sound of thunder as a group of Triceratops bolt away in fear. Zuko was in a chase for his prey as he stomped across the land not looking to be silent. He eluded the herd for amount by silently sneaking into the woods. After the herd stopped their stampede when they realized that they were momentarily safe from the threat. Out of nowhere a large pair of claws came out of the shadows and slashed a triceratops behind its crest and severing the spine. The Dino fell limp before Zuko started to eat and sending the rest away.

A large beast waited in the water. Head dug deep into the muddy earth as she waited for prey. Her eyes narrowing to slits as she saw movement. But she couldn't tell what. This was the problem with her hiding place. They couldn't see her. But she couldn't see them well eather. Which risked her taking a chomp out of some thing more deadly then her.
Xian though lunged forward. And got her grasp on some duckbilled dinosaur. But she didn't pay attention to much of the species. Just keeping a firm grip on it as it shrieked. Stepping back and dragging her out with it. She growled. She had gotten a good clamp on its arm. But no where deadly. And it soon pulled away. Fleeing from her. Xian let out a small growl and using her fins began pushing herself back towards the water.

  • The green Tyrannosaur paused, her massive figure slowing to a halt. Raising her head upon hearing a roar that seemed to have come from a Spinosaurus, followed by the loud, thunder-like sound, she remained at the edge of the opening in the forest brush, her bright yellow eyes narrowing to slits, and her stomach aching from hunger.
Moments passed, and the female didn't budge, her mind set on the idea, that if she did, she might become a five-second chew toy for a beast much larger than her. The ache struck again. Once. Twice. Redd could handle no more.
With a roar that caused her entire body to tremble, she rushed forward, breaking through the opening in the wall of brush. Leaves and sticks flew as the massive predator emerged from the shadows of the forest. Her feet shook the earth as she charged, running with such incredible speed that she was like a seven ton train. But with a mission. To kill.

The land that now surrounded her was not forest, but an open field. A waterhole. Stegosaurus, Aeolosaurus, Hadrosaurus, they were all around her, screeching and crying out with fear as she approached. But they weren't what she wanted. She wanted the Triceratops that the Spinosaurus had brought down.
And there he stood, a gigantic male, tearing into his kill, only a few more long strides in front of her. She gave another roar, her clawed feet kicking up dirt and tearing grass away.
Nothing would stop her. Not even a Dino nearly twice the size as her.

  • The giant carnivore'a head came up as a result from the T-Rex's roar. The Spinosaurus put one giant foot on top of the carcass that he was feasting upon and roared back at the charging dinosaur as he prepared for a fight. Oddly, something seemed fimiliar about the tyrannosaurus but he could not wrap his mind around it, with another mighty roar he propelled himself at the other Dino aiming to just slam into it and knock it over, if that did not work things would get ugly. He had a bit of a soft spot for tyrannosaurus'a mainly do to him past but he kept that to himself.

Xian's head jerked up at all the fuss going on. Noticing two large creatures fighting. She dipped her head deep into the water. Watching them. Before noticing the prey.
She stared at the body for a moment. She was stupid enough to get herself tangled in a fight where she would be helpless on land, But her belly was. Watching carefully and began using her fins to pull her along on land. Though she was a flopping mess. She stayed still. Figuring as soon as the two dinosaurs got them selves tangled in a battle she would just move forward and get her a bite. She watched carefully. Waiting for the right moment.
Xian couldn't help but wonder which would win in a battle. She was guessing the t-Rex. Desperation she figured was more likely to win against most.

  • The Tyrannosaur's jaws fell open, parted to reveal rows of sharp, needlepoint teeth, as she charged at the Spinosaurus, preparing to fight. At first glance, he seemed slightly familiar, but she didn't bother to try and understand why. She was too preoccupied with the matter at hand.
Redd had suspected for the male to simply remain over his kill, guarding it, so when he lunged at her, it startled her a bit. Unable to get out of the way to dodge his attack, quick enough, a loud roar escaped her as the Spinosaurus rammed into her, knocking her backward, stumbling, and then falling.

    Crash.
She fell with such force that it nearly took her breath away. An unfortunate Hadrosaurus had been nearby, and hadn't moved in time before she collapsed, and had been crushed beneath her weight, dead on impact.
A flash of movement stirred from the corner of her eye, but Redd didn't bother to worry too much over it, as she assumed it was just one of the herbivores that were gathered around the waterhole--or those who had remained, anyway, considering most had run away from the skirmish that had unfolded before them.

Pressing her massive feet against the ground, she heaved herself up off the ground and the dead Hadrosaur to stand upright, her yellow eyes locked on one beast and one beast alone. Her target. The Spinosaurus.
With a blood-curdling roar, she lunged, tail whipping behind her. Her head was lowered to a strike a certain spot on the male's body: The ribcage. With her skull being extremely lethal and strong, there was a chance that if she broke a rib or two, he would flee--provided she managed to land the blow that she sought to give.

  • "Stay away from my prey," Zuko roared as he moved back over his prey and he bared his teeth but his arms were just as deadly with large claws that could tear flesh easily. Now was the time to start fighting defensively rather than offense. In a full out fight he would most likely lose with his unwillingness to actually kill a tyrannosaurus but if this was true survival he would have to kill. The spinosaurus narrowed his eyes and watched as the familiar T-Rex moved around. If he could get a claw into the side of the Dino it would practically be game over.

Xian watched with interest. Wondering if this would be a fight to the death. If it was she figured she would get more food. Which caused her to smile. She slithered more onto land. Jaws parting as she let the smell of prey enter her nose. Eyes locking on the carcass.
    She slithered closer.
Watching the fight. She would if they were in water just be jumping at them bullying the two out of the food. But of course. She had no advantage here. Oh she wished she could take the prey and drag it into her water to feast. But not yet. She had to be patient. And so she watched. Tail flicking for them to move just far enough she could take a bite.

  • Redd, who was still charging toward him, came to a sudden halt upon hearing the Spino's voice. It was vaguely familiar, just as he was, but truth be told, she didn't know how. There were many Spinos that she had run into throughout her lifetime, and each one was different, so how was this one familiar to her? She couldn't remember seeing him before.
The Tyrannosaur looked the male over, before taking an intimidating step toward him. "Sorry, hun, but I don't give up that easily," she snarled, not daring to walk off just because of the larger Dino telling her to stay away.
She'd fight if she had to; it didn't matter that this over-sized brute was a lethal killing machine with a mouth full of jagged teeth, and claws that could rip and shred. Redd had survived this long--and she wasn't about to back down and give into surrender now.

  • Like a lighting strike, it hit him and the realization came fast and he did a roar that only one of his close friends would know. The roar was more of a screech with several small clicking sound and he hoped that this was the true Redd that he knew and sort of loved, like a sister anyways. If the was not Redd he moved back and put a foot back on the carcass just so he could get some sort of Hieght advantage on the t-Rex. He hoped bloodshed would not be the solution to this problem and if he got knocked backwards he would only die to his spines snapping sense that was a fatal flaw.

  • Realization did not come as quickly as it should have, although Redd had stopped moving, and now stood stiffly, pausing. Somewhere, in the back of her mind, the roar was all too familiar... like something she had heard several years ago.
Then it struck her, and her yellow eyes widened slightly. She took a disbelieving step forward, raising her head. "Zu...Zuko?" the Tyrannosaurus whispered, snorting as she breathed in his scent. Yes. This Spino had to be who she thought him to be. The hatchling she had once known all that time ago.

  • The spinosaurus nodded his confirmation in silence and gave a but of a light smile before walkin over to his friend. He had not seen her since he had left the nest to go and live on his own and hunt for his own food, but he still missed the old times. Zuko made an almost silent, deep rumbling sound before apologizing "Sorry about knocking you over and ugh planning to rip you right side to shreds." This only happened for defensive reasons and it was still there for a bit of doubt and food concerns on the side.
His amber eyes locked with Redd's for a moment before he turned back around and went back to eating but instead of actually eating the whole thing, Zuko saved a half for his old friend to eat. Most of the time he knew what drove the tyrannosaurus to do what she did and he also noticed that she had matured since the last time he saw her.

Xian's jaw practically dropped at the two dinosaurs being friendly. Her chance at a free meal finished. Xian bit back a insult. Only since she did not want to be noticed. Dragging her body back into the watehole. Her nose wrinkled and she decided to go back to hunting. Lying in the dirt and waiting for some thing to come and take a drink. Her tail flicking angrily. She was hungry. And annoyed.
Luckily prey wasn't hard to come by around the water hole. Some thing was bound to come for a drink. But it was still difficult. Mostly due to the limited space. She though could normally swim deep enough under if things went bad.

  • Redd eyed him in something like wonder. After all this time, they'd finally been reunited, even if it hadn't been on the best of terms. When they were a bit younger, the Tyrannosaur recalled playing with Zuko, following him around like a lost puppy, and she'd protected him many times. But now, as she looked him over, she understood that he didn't need to be protected. He'd grown up into quite the terror.
"You shouldn't apologize," she was saying. "After all, I was the one who attacked you, first." A smile touched her face for a brief moment, before her usual coldness destroyed it.

The sound of water shifting caused the Tyrannosaur to turn her head to peer at the waterhole. She didn't see anything, but could clearly spot visible ripples atop the surface of the liquid. Although her stomach ached horribly from hunger, something felt off about the whole situation. The issue was, Redd had always been a bit... adventurous and explorative. So, when faced with the sound and the ripples on the surface of the water, she didn't hesitate to check it out. Turning away from Zuko and the carcass, her tail whipping behind her, she sauntered up to the water's edge, cocking her head and peering into it, curious. Was there anything living in the water? If so, it might've just been a fish or something of that general nature.

Xian, Noticing movement above her head didn't hesitate. Her entire body preparing to strike. There was no fish she could prey on in the pond. At least. Not any more. And so she had adapted to swiping at any thing near the water edge. Lunging out of the water. Jaws parted. Aiming to grab any thing close to her snapping jaws. Splashing water as she came up. Eyes narrowed.

Xian hissed seeing her prey was a T-Rex. Which probable wouldn't end will unless she got a good fatal blow. But she still worried of the other dinosaur nearby. She guessed she could if it attacked drag herself deep into the water until he went way. And then feast.

  • Twi, a Parasaurolophus, was grazing in a field of grass. She was cautious while eating, it was late at night and she was alone in the darkness. She spotted something a few tail-lengths away, and stopped while standing really still. Twi's eyes were wide. She slowly inched away from it.

  • OOC: ITS ALL BIG DINOS.. until Screno the little killer came >:3 (HE IS LIKE THE SMALLEST DINO XD)

IC: A small dinosaur was creeping a way around the bigger carnivores. His name was Screno, a herrerasuarus. Despite his large teeth and carnivore features, hunting prey and all- he was ALSO prey, but to bigger dinosuars. He caught a glimpse of a lizard. He lunged, jaws open, ready to sink his teeth into the creature's skin. The lizard ran, and Screno was running after it. The lizard was running into the clearing, where the two big carnivores are. He froze and looked up at the two. He gulped, eyes wide. Great..

  • Twi gasped. She ran for the cave where all of her other Parasaurolophus were sleeping/hiding. She glanced back, and heaved a sigh of relief. She tried to get to the back of the cave where her family was, but she couldn't quite get there without stepping on a few dino heads. She felt something under her foot, and winced when the leader of her herd woke up from his slumber. She quickly ran out and went to hide.
"Gosh, that was close," She mumbled. It had only been a few days since her leader went on a major killing spree for the Parasauro's that bothered him. She was at the top of his list so far.
