I stood up slowly, my knees buckling in fear as I rose to my feet. My soft hands were covered in ash and debris, from the recent storm that had ripped through the town. Now was the time that everyone had predicted, waited for, able to finally see the end. The end of Earth. Twisters ripped through open cities nearly every day, fires sprung up in homes, forests, factories, anywhere really. Mutants roamed the street, wild and bloodthirsty, we even had zombies. The world was a dangerous place to be on right now, I had literally witnessed my family perish in flames as our house shot up into a uncontrollable fire. I hid in the basement, breathing in the toxic fumes and eventually passing out. I woke up to find myself hidden under the staircase leading to our basement and the fire gone and out of sight, only as if it were but a distant memory.

I walked into the fresh open air, breathing in the no longer clean scent. The streets reeked of poision and I wrinkled my nose in disgust. I began to prowl around, looking for any signs of human life, careful of mutants and zombies possibly lurking in the shadows. I came across a large human figure, nearing closer and closer to me by the second it seemed like. I backed away, cautiously holding up my hands in surrender. I noticed a man appear from out of the smoky atmosphere, his eyes watery from the smoke and his expression worried and feared. I could tell right then and there that this was in fact a survivor of the end of the world.

I was devastated to find out that our last concert for the tour was shut down because of intense weather conditions. I don't understand exactly what was going on, all I heard was the news blaring through the speakers of our venue that the town I was currently in was under a severe weather watch. Severe weather? Can't they be more specific? There wasn't a cloud in the sky, from what I noticed, but then again I didn't pay much attention as I had been in the building for hours. I sat down in the leather chair backstage as I put my head in my hands, shaking it in despair. "Damn! Why the hell does this have to happen on the last day of tour!?" I said in annoyance. The guys tried to comfort me it I shook them off . "Just stop, I wanna be a-" I began, but was interrupted by a loud alarm going off and a red light swam across my vision. Oh, sh*t! The building was on fire! I stood up abruptly, putting my hand on Jake's shoulder as I began to push him. "We have to get out, now!" I said, seeing Ashley stepping in front of us and touching the doorknob to the exit door, and he jerked back holding his hand, and I noticed red welps form on his hand where he had burned it. "There's a fire on the other side!" I looked around in panic and I stopped when I noticed a window. "Look! Up there! I can get up there and pull you guys up!" I said, running over to the window. "Here, CC, give me a boost up." I urged, and he stood in front of me and cupped his hands. I put my boot onto his hand and he pushed up, I let out a sigh of relief when my hand came in contact with the window above me. "I got it!" I called, lifting myself up and bending back down to help CC. "Come on, let me-" I started, but I stopped as I felt the window begin to tremble and things began to crumble from the ceiling. "Hurry, come on!" I said, CC stepped back, shaking his head with a sad smile on his face. "Don't worry, Andy, we'll try to find another way out if we can." He said, turning to the guys and together they ran towards the front of the building. The walls began to crumble before they could even get to the door, and everything around them collapsed on top of them. "NO!" I screamed, losing my footing and slamming down into a dumpster below. I coughed, rolling over to the ground and getting on my hands and knees, trying to catch my breath while my lungs burned from the stench of the smoke. I stood up and gave one last look at the guys, a tear escaping my eye. "I'm so sorry, guys..." I said softly, turning around and walking as best as I could with my injured leg. I walked only a few distances until I noticed that a girl stood in from of me. I didn't say anything, I just gulped and fell to my knees. "They're dead, they're all dead." I choked up, looking at her. "W-what the hell is happening?"

I watched as the tall male dropped to his knees, his voice choked up and a tear escaping from the corner of his eye.i looked at him, the scent of smoke and blood reeking from my clothing. My pants and shirt were torn and I had a large, slightly deep scratch across my cheek. A drop of crimson liquid fell from the incision, I winced as I felt a sting of pain. "It's the end of the world. Nobody's safe anymore.." I said, my voice choked up and filled with the reek of smoke. My house had burnt down only yesterday, I hid in the basement but sadly my family didn't believe me that the bad things would happen. I witnessed as my parents and brother burnt to death on their way to the basement, in flames as they collapsed in the doorway.

I was alone now, I had left all my past, and all my feelings behind. I knew I was going to die anyways, what was the point of sadness or love? None, exactly my point. " Listen to me, you need to forget everything you once knew, leave your past and feelings behind you. It's the only way you can survive in the end, although we will die eventually. I could anyways, I don't think I will be able to fix this..." I said, gently lifting up the torn corner of my shirt where I had a large deep wound, about the size of a baseball. It had been bleeding nonstop, it happened as I huddled in he corner, in fear and crying. A large wood panel from our floor upstairs had fallen through the ceiling and had impaled my side, leaving me unconious for hours.

I shook my head as she told me to leave everything I knew behind. I couldn't do that, I wouldn't. "No, I'm not leaving it behind, it's the only thing that'll keep me sane in such a f*cked up world." I said softly, looking away from the deep wound. I swallowed, and it made me cough, leaving behind an annoying itchiness that stung my throat. "I might be able to fix that." I said without looking at the horrific wound. "It's gonna hurt, though." I said, my voice hoarse and deeper than usual from the smoke.

  • Sophie Hayes

I looked at him, my face still keeping its same blank expressionless look. Although a bit of hope glimmered in my chocolate brown eyes. I walked closer to him, and opened my mouth to speak. "Okay, fix me." I said, confidence shimmering in my voice as I spoke directly to him. I didn't exactly mind if it would hurt. I was already feeling pain, both inside and outside. Mentally and physically. It didn't really matter how much it would hurt now anyways, beats dying I guess.

I came closer to him and looked at him. Sadness shone deep in his eyes, he must be grieving greatly. I had already grieved from my family, in fact I still was grieving for my family. Deep down inside I fell that it is all my fault that they died in that outrageous fire. I shouldn't pulled them down into the basement with me, no matter how much they argued, it would have been worth it for them to survive.

I felt the corners of my mouth twitch up into a smile. "You got it." I said, standing my and wincing as I put weight on my bad leg. "Damn..." I said, feeling a warm line trickle down the side of my leg, tickling the hairs. "Ow, I fell out of a window and got cut with glass when I fell." I informed her as I looked into her shockingly beautiful eyes. "Right now, you come first. Your wound is much worse than mine." I grabbed her hand and led her to the drugstore that was placed down the street. I coughed as a hot wind blew in my face and the sky above was blocked out from the blackness of the smoke.

  • Sophie Hayes

I followed him into the drugstore as he feebly limped up to the cracked and broken glass doors. " Before you go in there I must warn you. The drugstore has been taken over by powerful mutants. Most of them werewolves with super strength and territorial problems. The other half is crawling with zombies, get bitten or scratched by one of those things and your dead meat, and I mean this in the most literal way possible, you'll become one."

If he was really going to risk going into the drugstore he would have to be very silent, and he would have to mask his scent with something much more stinky. He would possibly have to roll around in the mud puddle right out side the door of the drugstore. Whatever it would take for him to get in and out unharmed.

"Don't worry, I always had a suspicion that one of my closest friends was a werewolf, although I never really believed him until today." I informed her with an encouraging smile. "He'll protect me from any zombies, he came with me here on tour in a band called Falling In Reverse, his name is Ronnie Radke." I said, trying to put my foot down onto any part of the linoleum floor with the least amount if glass.

  • Sophie Hayes

I looked away from him and found a tan slab of concrete still driven into the ground by old, rusty nails. I plopped down on it and sighed, feeling the dirt and grime underneath my feet. I honestly had never thought that the world would some day become a place of destruction and terror. Fear would wash down on every survivor and terrorize their normal lives forever.

I waited for him to come back out, hoping that he would be okay. If not I was alone in the big bad world around me. Let me be entirely honest with you, whoever the hell this Ronnie was he may not be as nice as Andy thinks. Werewolves aren't friendly once they turn completely trust me ,they forget everything about you.

  • Andy Biersack

I heard a small growl from the back of the store, it sounded much like a dog, and I knew that that must be one of the werewolves, hopefully it was Ronnie, if I'm lucky. I didn't dare make a sound as I continued through the store, finally finding a thing of bandages and peroxide. I was about to turn when I felt a strong force slam into me, and I looked up into the yellow glowing eyes of my friend, Ronnie. "R-Ronnie." I gasped, my heart quickening as his lip curled into a snarl. "What the hell are you doing here, Andy? Where's the rest of the guys?" I looked away from him, sadness showing in my eyes. "They're dead, they died in the fire at the theater. And as for what I'm doing here, I'm helping to stitch a wound up for a friend." As I mentioned that the guys were dead, Ronnie's yellow eyes dimmed to their natural color and he let me go, helping me to stand. "Take me to her, I'll help you. But we need to be quick, there was a lot of zombies here a few moments ago and we don't need them coming back." He stated before I led him outside to show him who I meant. I felt a bit uncomfortable as his eyes strayed on her for a little longer than I liked and jealousy began to nag at me. I cleared my throat and rubbed my hands together. "Right, let's get started."

    Ronnie's POV

I couldn't believe that my buddy Andy was here, so far he was the only person from Warped Tour that I saw was still breathing and not trying to gnaw someone's face off. He was one of my closest friends, but I couldn't stop the overwhelming territorial feeling that tightened in my chest. I hated hearing the fact that the rest of the guys from BVB were dead, they were all close friends of mine. Andy led me outside to where a beautiful girl sat on a slab of concrete, and I couldn't help but to stare for a second at her. Just like I said earlier, she was one of the only people I saw not trying to eat someone's face. Damn, how the end of the world could change you...

  • Sophie Hayes

I watched as Andy finally returned from the crummy insides of the drugstore. I carefully noticed another male with him and my gaze instantly sharpened. I kept a close eye on him, intently making sure he wouldn't claw my face off. He was staring a bit too closely at the personal parts of my body and it made me feel very uncomfortable.

I gulped awkwardly as I stood up, waiting for my wound to be treated so that I could get the f**k out of here. This city was too compacted, a large populated area like this was more likely to be crawling with zombies and mutants. It wasn't safe...nobody was safe..

  • (Do you like Ronnie's POV?)

    Andy Biersack

I watched carefully as Ronnie took the bandages and looked into her eyes. "This will hurt a lot, I'm not gonna lie." He said, pouring peroxide carefully onto a piece of bandage and handed her another. "Here, bite on this. You might be a little loud without it and it'll attract zombies." I heard him say, I gritted my teeth and looked away, not wanting to see her in pain.

  • Sophie Hayes

I watched him carefully as he lifted up the torn corner of my shirt, revealing the large gaping wound. I laid down the concrete slab so that my back would lay just a bit more straight so that he could hopefully clean it a but better. He handed me a piece of bandage and I pushed into my mouth, so that I was sharply biting down on it.

I immediately closed my eyes and waited until I felt a cold, burning sensation in my lower side. At first I felt nothing but the soft relieving coolness but seconds later, I felt a sharp sting of pain. It felt as if one thousand angry bees were stinging my sides. I groaned out in pain and arched my back willing myself not to scream out in pain.

I closed my eyes tighter as I heard her groan out in pain. I didn't like her sounding so much in pain. It made me feel the same type of pain and it nagged at me. "You'll be okay, that's a good sign, it means it's getting the infection out." I soothed her.

    Ronnie's POV

I felt a surge of admiration for Andy as he tried to sooth her, and I felt a searing pain in my heart as I heard the groan of pain and her heart rate sped up, I could hear it hammering hard in her chest. I knew that the best way to heal the wound completely was by werewolf blood, but I couldn't risk it actually infecting her. "It'll take a while to heal, but I had an idea. To make it heal more quickly, I could give you my blood, but that could give you a risk of becoming a werewolf. I have the cure, but I'm willing to give it to you, if you don't want to stay a werewolf."

  • Sophie Hayes

At the moment, I only wanted to be out of this searing pain and finally receive some well-needed rest and relief. I nodded quickly to his offer, I just wanted to heal faster and if it meant becoming a werewolf then I would do it. Leaving these people to protect them wouldn't be so hard, for God sake I barely even knew them, how hard could it be?

I mean I barely knew these guys and they had each other, I didn't need love or friendship once I become a werewolf I would just be shunned away by every human anyways. Ronnie would be there for Andy, I'm sure of it. If he was willing enough to stay with him now he may have the respect to stay with him for life.

I watched as Ronnie made a cut on his finger and held it over her wound, and I winced as the blood trickled into the hole. I couldn't bear to watch anymore so I turned away. I took in a deep breath before looking back again, and I saw the wound heal in a matter of seconds. I saw Ronnie take out a small vial full of dark blue liquid, and he popped the cap open and let it trickle into her mouth. "It's the antidote, you need it more than me." I heard Ronnie tell her.

  • Sophie Hayes

I wrinkled my nose in disgust as he delicately poured the royal blue liquid into my mouth. My gag reflex was most likely going to make an appearance but I willed myself to swallow it down within seconds. I sat up, and shook my head, I felt slightly dizzy and just a bit of pain stung in my lower side where he wound once was. It wasn't unbearable pain or anything but it was more of the ago in you get when you get a paper cut.

Why would he give this to me and not him? He was the one going to turn I only have a 50% chance of it happening and even then! I'm 16. I'm young, assuming he must be at least five to seven years older than myself he still has the chance to make his life better, I've already witnessed far too much to continue on with life. For God sake, I saw my family die in the doorway of safety, that's pretty bad.

  • Andy Biersack

Ronnie nodded to her before standing up and looking into my eyes. "Andy, I think the best idea would be to stay together. I'm not exactly a full werewolf so I can control myself around people. I can protect you two." Ronnie said, looking between me and the girl. I just realized that I never asked for her name. "Yeah, I think that's the best idea, too. What do you think?" I asked her.

  • Sophie Hayes

I nodded in agreement at the idea. I was totally okay with sticking together with these guys, as long as they didn't try to fight over me, I was in fact only one girl, it's not like there is two of me in this world. I noticed the hint if confusion in the male named Andy as I have heard and thought that it was because of the absence of my name in the sentence.

" I'm Sophie." I said, holding out my hand for a shake. " Don't let my name fool you, I'm not a girly girl and although my family was rich doesn't mean I'm some sort of prick okay pretty boy?" I asked my tone quite menacing and my eyes narrowed. I wasn't joking around here.
