  • Daemon nodded, understanding, while Amyra had to jump over Aku, just so she didn't slam into the poor exceed, landing on a table, and accidentally spilling one of the Guild members drinks all over him. She suddenly leapt backwards, arching her back in a half back-flip, landing gracefully, and running from the angry mage, laughing.

  • Kyo then turned away and headed towards the mission's board. He randomly picked out an S-class mission and headed out of the guild. He glanced at Aku and murmured "You stay here...I want to work alone today,"

Aku briskly nodded before watching his partner leave. He then turned to Daemon and muttered. "You know who Kyo's father is right?"

  • "I have an idea." Daemon said, as crashed could be heard in the back ground, as well as shouting.

  • Not wanting to gain any attention, Aku looked around and sadly murmured. "Kyo wasn't always a quiet and cold person. He was a lot like his father and was always smiling. But all that changed when he was only a kid. Something happened that changed his life forever...His father was on a mission while Kyo and his mother were at home. Unfortunately, the mission took a long time to accomplish. Meanwhile, Kyo's sister was at kindergarten and had to wait outside. S-she wanted to see if her father arrived, but a car came by and...she was gone forever. That's why Kyo has a grudge against his father. He believes that it was his fault and has always blamed him since then,"

  • Daemon nodded. "Not quite what I was expecting, but I did have a feeling it was more one-sided when it started, if not now." He said. "To tell you the truth, Amyra held a super grudge against out parents, believing that it was their fault, in that time, joining a Dark Guild after Mysteria vanished. Then she held one against the dark guild, and now goes on every mission she can get her hands on that has something to do with a Dark Guild.

  • Aku solemn eyes darkened as he murmured. "I guess everyone has their problems right? I just wish that Kyo would understand his father's side of the story too..." He sighed as he snatched out a squid from his sack and sadly nibbled on it.

  • Daemon nodded. "Yeah. I guess it's just the stages of grief. Anger is one of them. It makes one irrational, and hateful without reason." He said, then finally looked behind him, towards all the ruckus, to see Amyra perched on top of the railing, and what looked like a destruction zone under her, as she smiled teasingly at the angry guy under her.

  • She smiled, looking at him. "Nothing. I was just playing tag, when Ash pushed me, and I spilt his drink, and then he started chasing me, yelling and nocking things over, so I ran, and took refuge here. All I did was spill a drink. The rest was him." She chirped, only succeeding in making the mage below her angrier.

  • She just laughed. "I'm fine." She said, looking back down at him. "And it's either him in here, or the angry restaurant guy outside. I'm taking my chances with the mage." She chirped.

  • Aku facepalmed as he decided to head over to Akira and blushed. He held up a squid and offered it. Strangely, it was wrapped in a pink bow. "Squid?" He stuttered.

  • She smiled kindly, and took it. "Sure. Thank you." She said, her tail waving behind her.

  • Aku faced turned bright red and felt as if he was about to faint. "I'm talking to a goddess!" He comically thought.

Kyo looked at his map as he continued to walk around the unknown town. He couldn't seem to understand the townspeople's strange language so he was having trouble asking for directions.

  • Amyra looked over at the message board, then the angry guy stalking the ground under her. She whinned slightly, much like a wolf, before walking to railing over to just above the message board. She swung herself down, looking at it upside down, while Ash ran over, trying to distract the guy. Amyra quickly grabbed a job and swung herself back up. She scanned it and smiled. She leapt down, and Ash dashed to her side, as she tripped the angry man. She quickly told the master about the job, and asked him to let the others that she had been talking to before know that she had taken another job, so they wouldn't have so many people on that job. She then quickly grabbed her brother, and dashed out of the Guild hall, the restaurant owner and the mage running after them angrily. "I'm sorry, but I must go. The twins seem to have gotten them selves in trouble again. Thank you for the squid though." Jade said before flying off after Daemon and Amyra.

  • Aku followed after them in the chaos and shouted "Hey wait up! Can I come?" He flew through the crowds of people and struggled to catch up after them.

Ayame walked in through the doors of Fairy Tail, clutching the side of Shiku. His hood was up, as well as his jacket zipped to his neck, to hide his deformed side. Since the day of the fire, looking at himself was absolutely shameful. He'd gotten better about the insecurity since he'd met the sweet Ayame, but he told her he lacked self confidence around the other guild members.

"Shiku, what if I'm not cut out to make it here?" asked the minty-eyed girl nervously, her voice tiny.

"You're standing next to me, nobody's gonna mess with you." Shiku answered almost as quietly. He had one of those voices that was a certain tone where even if he talked quietly, you could hear the jumbled frequency across the room. It just- carried.

"I'm not afraid of that. I fear that I may not be able to hold a respectable name among all these great wizards." Shiku sneered at that.

"Please, these guys aren't all that great. Big bag of nutjobs if you ask me." He looked down at the snowy colored braids that hung down from the pink hat Ayame wore on her head. For a second, he almost smiled at her. "And you're a rejuvenation wizard. There's only like ten of you even left active in the world. That alone is a conversation piece."

Ayame nodded slightly, thinking back to the day she met Shiku. They were both at the train station, waiting to go to Magnolia City. Shiku was sixteen and Ayame was thirteen. Ayame had lost her ticket somewhere from the booth to the actual ride itself. She was begging the conductor to let her on, and Shiku saw her dilemma and told the conductor that she was his baby cousin who was always losing things. He got her on the train, and they sat together and talked for the whole trip. Something about her just made him more trusting.

Upon him asking about her form of magic, Ayame gave a more than thorough response. Rejuvenation magic is basically just nature magic. It focuses on having a mutual and balanced relationship with the earth that we live on. You can manipulate plants, summon familiars and spirit animals, and have the ability to heal.

It was an old practice that many chose to abandon because it was found more of a harmless magic rather than a powerful one. But the harder you study and more you learn, you will see the true power of such a magic. It was why Ayame worked so hard to excel. The young girl wanted to prove herself to all other forms of magic.

  • Kyo sighed as he headed past the confused people. H immediately noticed the problem of the town. "Slaves," He angrily muttered. Bulky men were seen pulling burned and beat up kids by ropes that were tied to their frail hands. The dragon slayer clenched his fists until their knuckles were white and tried to keep calm. All of that patience snapped when one of the men slapped a girl that looked a lot like his sister. Before he could stop himself, he felt the bone of the man's cheek.

  • Amyra nodded at Ash and Jade, both of whom flew back to help Aku catch up. "They said yes, but they have to keep moving, lest the others catch up." Jade explained.

  • Aku nodded and happily followed them. For once he felt like had real partners. Kyo was great too, but he usually went alone on missions.

Kyo dodged the man as he tried to kick him in the stomach. He felt the pink haired girl's gaze on him and felt like hugging her. "Could it really be her?" He shook his head and continued to punch the men. They grabbed at his hair but he easily exploded them with fire.
