I guess I'm alone...

I.. I'm alive... Jay thought as she opened her eyes. She had lived though the end for the last major world war. As a last ditch attempt to win, every country involved aimed all of their missiles on each other and hit the switch. She pushed the small amount of ruble off of her and looked at the ruins around her. All was silent. I guess I'm alone... She thought as she got up. She winched as she put pressure on one of her legs. She didn't know if it was broken or not. "Oh well..." She said as she pulled a piece of wooden debris to use as a crutch out of the ruble. "I guess I can get to the hospital from here..." She looked for where the street used to be. "If it's still standing..." And with that last comment, Jay started to walk/hobble towards the hospital, stopping every so often to see if their was other signs of life.

Jay stopped walking for a second and looked around. She didn't notice Zero. I guess this is how it's going to be... She thought with a sigh as she continued to walk.

That was around the time she noticed Zero. Jay jumped back surprised and tripped. She landed flat on her back. What should I do... She thought not knowing if that person was good or might do her harm.

Jay got up and looked in his direction. She got up and hobbled over to him. "Hey are you alright?"

"Alright..." Jay said as she straighten up. "Do you need help getting up?"

Now what does one do now... Jay was at loss for what to do. "Do you know if anyone else is alive?"

"Okay.." Jay said as she looked at him. "Well I'm heading to the hospital..." What else was she going to do?

She turned and continued to hobble her way to the hospital.

She glanced over her shoulder at him as she walked.

Jay didn't say anything.
