This is part of one of my stories I'm writing.

Caspian walked into the nursery and saw Maddox holding his daughter. Caspian felt his heart stop and fear grip him so tightly that he couldn't move. “Maddox, you are not welcome here. Guards!” Caspian called out as he watched his brother carefully. Maddox looked up at Caspian and gave a short laugh which had sent a chill down his spine. “Put. Her. Down.”
“Caspian, I curse your children. They each will died brutally in battle. Actually, I curse all my nieces and nephews with the same fate.” Maddox laughed menacingly.
“I said put my daughter down!” Caspian growled as he took a step towards him.
“If you want to kill her then keep walking forward.” Caspian stopped for he knew that his brother would indeed kill her. Maddox laid his niece in the bassinet. “I hope --- for your sake--- by the time I raise my flesh rotters she's married.” Maddox said as the Guards rushed towards him. He chanted something and then he vanished. Maddox knew that his brothers lived in fear for their children. And that was just how he wanted them. Fearful. Caspian was determined to keep his children safe. Walking over to the bassinet he picked up his daughter and cradled her close. Caspian's daughter let out a little sound of distress then quickly fell silent in his arms. Her little hands balled into fists against his chest as she looked up at him with her pale purple eyes. He felt someone watching him and he turned to see his wife Phoebe in the doorway.
“Why are you so tense my dear?” She asked in her quiet voice as she walked up to him.
“Maddox was here. He cursed our children and our nieces and nephews.” He said with irritation. He felt Phoebe touch his face and frowned.
“But that's not what's bothering you.” She said and he frowned this time. “What is it darling?”
“He's planing something for Selene especially. Maddox said that he hopes she's married before he raises the flesh rotters.” He said with a sneer.
“Roland and Savannah have been trying to make an alliance with your brothers, but they turned them down. Why not have them as an ally?” She said and when he looked at her he knew it was the right choice. Even though he didn't like the idea he knew it would protect his daughter.
He nodded and said, “I wish we did not have to resort to this, but there's no other way.”
“I know, Darling. But we don't have much of a choice.” Phoebe said as she hugged him and Selene. His wife always knew what to say and he loved her for it. “I will have Jonathan send a message hawk to Roland and Savannah.” She then kissed him and walked out of the room. Caspian cradled his beloved daughter close to him and kissed her head gently. He then laid her in the bassinet. She let out a little sigh and settled into a deep sleep. He smiled down at her as he covered her slightly with her blanket. Caspian lightly brushed his knuckles across her cheeks.
“Sleep tight princess. I won't let anything happen to you or your brothers. I love you five so much it might kill me to lose you.” He whispered then paused. “When you are older you will understand why I am doing this.” He turned and walked out of the room and frowned. Was he really making the right choice? Or was he just wishing he could make things right? He wasn't really sure, but what else could he do?

Even though Chester is in his late 20's, he still looks very young. with dirty blonde hair, he could pass by as a teen. Well barely. His hair is slanted to the left, and when light is on it, it glows vibrantly. Then theres his eyes. They are nothing muchc, only two small balls of grey. We dont need to go into much more detail with his face. His build is rather skinny, and muscular, and he has long legs that'll help him run incase needed.

Bulky. As any werewolf should be. Chester in werewolf form isnt the prettiest sight. his dirty blonde hair turns to a deep shade of brown and the hair covers basically his whole body. His eyes, instead of being a grey, are blue. They become wider and more whats the word? He becomes way taller when standing and there are claws that sprout from his fingers. he never really uses them for bad though.

Personality (10+ sentences):
As a human, he is very respectful and doesnt talk much. Besides the fact that he isnt very social. The most talked to person by him is the queen. Well that would make sense since he is the royal adviser. Going to the respectful part. Chester has a side to him that some people wouldn't understand. Though he doesnt liek talking about his history he will say that he was always been taught to never disrespect the queen. Another trait is awkward. He makes so many situations awkward that its not even funny. The only person he isnt awkward near is the queen. Well since he spends most of his time with her.

History (not needed, but would like to know):
He doesnt like talking about it, but both his parents were killed because of an invading kingdom ages ago.

Standing at about 6' 2'', Damian is fairly athletic man, although he's lost some of his muscle with age. His near black brown hair is almost always sleeked back out of his blue eyes, with the exception of his facial hair, which is usually kept at a short length. On occasion his facial hair may give him a sort of scruffy look if his mind is too preoccupied to think of his appearance. His naturally pale skin is tanned to a medium shade. Although looking young enough for his age, he's gained a few wrinkles from his constant serious or disapproving expression as well a line or two under his eyes from lack of sleep. As for his facial features, it's clear that Damian was handsome in his younger years, if not now. His nose, nor his eyes are of a unusual size, being proportionate with the rest of his face. With the exception of his few signs of age, he keeps his complexion smooth.

Personality:
Most of Damian's traits branch off from his need to control nearly every aspect of life around him. If he felt it was necessary, he would dictate every aspect of his subjects lives', from what clothes they wear to even the portions and contents of their meals. Telling him that something is impossible, denying him access to something, or simply using the word 'no' are horrible crimes in his mind. And then there would be the Moon Kingdom, something seemingly completely out of his area of influence. That would be where his ambition comes into play. You are either part of his kingdom, or a disgusting being in desperate need of being put down. Another branch, as you can imagine, would be his selfishness. He does have the ability to care for another person, it's simply a fairly rare occurrence. Nearly any act of kindness he shows are to simply prevent rebellions, or to manipulate someone into being on his side. When he truly does care for another person, it only seems to make him even more controlling. Tripped and scraped your knee? Let's lock you in your room for the rest of your life in the name of your safety. Asking for an explanation of why he would go to such drastic measures over a simple cut? The answer would be his undertone of paranoia topped by his tendency to obsess over certain matters. If you want a positive quality out of that statement, you could call him determined. You could call him brave as well, although the line between bravery and idiocy is clearly blurred. He's calculative, and extremely intelligent, but neither of the two qualities matter much once Damian has been sucked into a specific state of mind.

History:
Damian's history could be called shady, if anything. Although he was born second in line to take the throne, he constantly lived in his brother's shadow. Exceeding young Damian's age by three years, Lucian appeared to be the perfect successor for the kingdom. After all, he seemed to be everything that Damian wasn't: Kind, generous, forgiving, humble, unselfish, brave, honest, loyal, and so much more. What was the younger brother in comparison? Very little in his father's eyes, I can tell you that much. The young man did anything and everything he could in attempt to prove his worth to his father, all in vain. The fact that Lucian treated him with kindness only seemed to turn his heart more and more the color green. Upon the elder brother's twenty first year the king drew his last breath, having been sick for several weeks. The day before Lucian's coronation his body was found staining the lake by the castle red. As mentioned before, Damian was next in line for the throne, and little else needs to be said. Out of the fear of the new king's wrath, little has been spoken about Lucian's death since. His first decree was that no being shall utter the name Lucian, nor name their children it.

Mirabell is rather known to be feisty, always looking at you dead in the eye whether you like it or not without even a hint of fear. Usually having a sharp tongue and never bowing down to anyone. Mirabell would definitely be considered a rebel, never backing down to anyone or anything. H-ll if she doesn't want to do it, she won't, just that easy to understand. Laughing in the face of danger is her specialty, making sure her life is worth living.

When it comes to people close to her or her friends and family, let me tell you. You do not mess with them because if you do... you'll never hear the end of it through Mirabell's eyes. She will literally hunt you down and won't stop until she sees some fear, blood, and regret. And then there's bullies... if she sees someone or something getting mistreated, she won't care if you're her friend or not but she will stand up for you, count on it.

Secretly Broken
Mirabell had feelings once, but was destroyed to a pulp by someone she refuses to speak of under any circumstances. Now most of those feelings that show weakness or vulnerability, she can control those like an on and off switch. And if that's not enough, there's a barrier that surrounds her at all times that hides all her feelings she refuses to reveal...

Humorous
The friends she does hang around with, can tell you she's the complete opposite of her first impression. Always being able to lift someone's spirit, cracking a few jokes here and there. Holly usually gets along with guys more than girls because it involves way to much drama and such.

Manipulating
When it comes to relationships, Mirabell definitely isn't a so called h*e. Usually getting a lot of attention because of her body, though her personality is a barrier you have to get through. Which sure isn't easy. If a guy wants her, then let me tell you he's going to have to work for it, usually playing the hard-to-get-game.

Flirty
Let's get one thing straight if Mirabell just happens to wink at you doesn't necessarily mean she loves you and desperately wants you.... or there's a 1% chance it is. The problem is you cannot tell even a little bit that there's a difference. In her group of friends all the guys get's her encouragement and love but that never means that she's high over heels for you. To be honest she's only felt that for only one living soul....

Sweet
There's completely to different sides to Mirabell, at one point she could be the sweetest person ever, and yet have this downright feisty side that definitely isn't pretty. When you actually get to be close to her heart, she's always willing to give you a shoulder to cry on. As well as teaching whoever caused your sadness a lesson.

Rick has shaggy black hair that reaches his collar and icy blue eyes so light they appear almost white if the sun hits it at the right angle. He has a naturally tanned skin and a well toned body, which he keeps fit by doing exercise and extreme training. Even though he bears the title of Prince of Norcrest, he bares a brand on his left arm, a large encircled B, which makes it plain to all and sundry that he is base born. On his right shoulder he bears the mark which was his saving grace, the birthmark of the house of Norcrest. On his back, he has a tattoo inked in the tribal fashion of his mother's people- his spirit animal, a wolf. He also has a barely noticeable scar on his right ear from an arrow that nicked it when he was out hunting one day when he was younger.

Rick's wolf form is a black wolf with unnaturally coloured eyes. They are blue, which his mother's people believe is an omen he'll do great things. His wolf coat is also unnaturally fine, more like human hair than fur. He is capable of running long distances and can climb most obstacles, even trees, thanks to his long legs and sturdy paws. In his wolf form, Rick has a nick on the tip of his right ear due to a hunter's arrow.

Personality (10+ sentences):
Rick is very strong-natured and 'wild' in the fact that he is unpredictable. You never truly know what he's going to do next. He is a little mysterious and is somewhat of a chameleon, changing himself to suit the situation, so one never knows who he truly is. He can be mischievous, but knows when he needs to be serious and always takes any royal duty with the seriousness it calls for. He has a bit of a wandering spirit and hates to be confined to a place too long, often taking his horse or simply running off in his wolf form, normally gone from dawn to nightfall. He has good values and ethics and will stand against even he King if he truly feels he was in the wrong. He stands up for the underdog and always gives credit where it is due.

History (not needed, but would like to know):
Rick may not be an actual orphan, but he may as well be in the eyes of most of the populace, since baseborns are normally frowned upon. The sun of a shifter maiden and the king, Rick was born when his father was not yet king, killing his mother at his birth. This was seen as a bad omen and the king's advisor told him to kill the boy so they wouldn't have to deal with the repercussions of a baseborn Prince, but the king decided against it when he saw the birthmark, allowing Rick the dubious honour of growing up in the Palace. When he was 5, as was the traditions of the Norcrest Kingdon, Rick was branded and disallowed to use his father's last name, his father giving the boy the last name Ashe, which had been his mother's first name. When he was 10, his mother's people sent for him and his spirit animal was divined and immortalized on his back. When he was 20, Rick had stopped a hunter from killing a young red wolf pup and had taken it as his own, naming him Torque.

Rick was bored. He hated the Royal life and wished he could get out of the palace. He climbed over his balcony and dropped lightly to the one below an d climbing down the ivy vine which drew to the ground. He then whistled softly and a reddish wolf trotted up to him from a camp near the hound houses. Shifting into his own wolf form, Rick lead Torque through the back parts of the palace courtyard, heading for the barracks and the stables. Making sure the coast was clear, Rick shifted and walked semi-nonchalantly towards the gate which lead into the town.

"Your... highness?" a gruff voice asked as the captain of the guard spied the young prince about to exit the palace grounds. "Where are you going?"

"Err, nowhere per se. I just needed to get out of the stuffy palace." Rick answered.

"It's not safe in the woods anymore, not since the Moon Kingdom spies were caught not too far from our borders."

"Perhaps you should remember what the last hunter who shot at you said before your father had him beheaded." the Captain of the guard said sternly.

"Oh, please, my father doesn't give a damn about a baseborn like me. He'd have drowned me like a rat if I hadn't born the Mark." Rick's expression was hard.

"I don't believe that's entirely true, your highness."

Rick shook his head irritably.

"Believe what you want, but that doesn't make it true either." he pointed out. "I need to go, this place is making me stir-crazy. I'll be back at nightfall as always."

With that the Prince shifted into his wolf form and ran off, his trusty pet, Torque by his side.
