"I know she does." Leafshimmer purred, swiping her tounge over Silverfin's ear. "That's why they are SILVERkit and LEAFkit." She purred.

"The number O and 2." SilverFin said.

"What?" Leafshimmer meowed, confuzed. "Why are you talking about 0 and 2?"

"2." SilverFin said, trying to hold up two of his "fingers."

"What about 2?" Leafshimmer meowed, not knowing what he was saying.

"SilverFin 2 and Leafshimmer 2." SilverFin mewed.

"Oh, okay." Leafshimmer meowed, embarressed.

"Yeah, I bet I couldn't get myself either."

"Probably not." Leafshimmer meowed, resting her head on Silverfin's shoulder.

"You get some rest." SilverFin purred.

"Oh, alright." Leafshimmer meowed. She let the darkness take her in. Soon, she was in a deep sleep.

SilverFin dragged the kits closer to their mother and closed his eyes.

Leafshimmer woke up, blinking her eyes to clear her vision.

SilverFin shook his head as Leafshimmer woke up.

Leafshimmer's stomach growled with great hunger. "I'll go get something to eat." She meowed.

"No I'll do it." SilverFin stood up.

"Oh, thanks." Leafshimmer meowed, nuzzling her mate affectionatley. "You're the best." She meowed gratefully.

"Of course I am." SilverFin said sarcastically. He left the den and returned with a plump vole.

"I really love you, Silverfin." Leafshimmer meowed, eating her half of the plump vole.
