Hannah probably didn't really care, but Kenzi still felt the need to explain for some reason. "I promise I'm a safe driver," she adds.

Once Hannah's in the car, she backs up and exits the parking lot, driving towards her house. "I have a question," she says after a moment. "Are we going out or...?"

The car slows down and she pulls into her driveway. She takes the keys out of the ignition and gets out of the car, going to Hannah's side of the car. Kenzi opens the door and offers her hand to Hannah. "Okay. So. My mom knows about my sexuality, and is supportive about it, but I still want to be subtle with it. I get mildly uncomfortable discussing it with my mom," she explains. "Most likely, she's home so.. Yeah. I dunno what point I'm trying to prove. Okay, I'm just gonna stop talking." She trails off, glancing at her hand, then Hannah, a light redness spreading across her cheeks. "Sorry," she says again quietly.

Who knows," she jokes, nudging Hannah's arm playfully. She locks the car and slowly starts towards the house. It was somewhat small, just one story. Two people didn't take up too much space. She reaches out her hand and rests it on the door knob. "Are you ready to possibly meet Evangeline Hart?" she asks, facing Hannah.

Or some other variation of her name," Kenzi adds. "I'm sorry I'm talking so much..." She sighs and shakes her head slightly to herself and opens the door. "Angeline?" she calls into the house. Evangeline replies, but Kenzi can't understand what she said. "Is it okay I brought a friend over?" A mildly loud crashing noise is heard from downstairs followed by a loud "aw sh-t". Kenzi enters the house, glancing nervously back at Hannah. Spotting the open basement door, she starts making her way towards it but Evangeline emerges. "Hey sweetie," she says halfheartedly, entering the kitchen and the sound of running water hits Kenzi's ears. "I cut myself," she calls from the kitchen. Kenzi turns to Hannah. "Come on, I want you to meet Evangeline. She's really cool."

You're gonna have to sing for me, don't forget. I'll have to finish your drawing and show you a few others I've got. Evangeline puts them in the basement, and doesn't exactly tell me where they're located." She gives a light shrug and makes her way to the stairs, slowly walking down.

Kenzi casts a weak smile at Hannah, pacing around the basement, looking for some of her drawing. "Shit," she says under her breath. None of her better work was to be found at the moment. "Ah, dammit.. Evangeline, where the hell would I put it if I were you?" She mutters a bunch of other random things to herself, focusing on finding it. "Damn. I have no idea where she put it. God, the basement's so messy." Letting out a gentle huff, she sits down and crosses her legs. "Let's focus on you now. I'd love to hear your singing voice."
