May 2011 Gathering for Fan Clans/Tribes {All Welcome}

    Rockstar looked to Duskstar, who was eyeing her star-shaped scar nervously.
    "DesertClan... is doing terribly. We have only one warrior and a deputy, and we are dehydrated in the desert," Duskstar admitted.
    ooc: this is the first time in months that I used DesertClan.

    The sky was full with stars and it was a beautiful night the breeze rufled my fur as I sat.

    Birchstar shook her head. A film of tears formed over her eyes, she was good friends with the leader and now he was dead. "May you be reunited, Foxspirit, Wolfstar." she whispered to the stars.

    Amazon of the cats of the Aztec padded in. The queen of her glorious nation had come to share tales and exchange pleasentries. Of course her nation didn't believe in Starclan; the great gods had done so well to them... As long as they offered a sacrifice every moon...

    Aracari, an adviser for the Cats of Aztec, followed a few foxlengths behind her Queen.



    The first to visit the arriving cats was a slender she-cat reeking of swamp. She was white with a long black streak down her back.
    "Welcome, this is SwampClan's first gathering, what about you?"

    Amazon gasped; this was her first time meeting a new cat! She said humbly, "I am Amazon, queen of Aztec. It is my nation's first time here as well. The gods are pleased with us this day!" She purred, smiling. The red berry juice marking atop her head seemed to shine; she had the true mark of royalty, and wore it proudly.

    Puzzled at her berry juiced head, she asked, "Are you the leader? And gods?"
    This leader ran a traditional clan and was interested in this new way.

    "Oh yes; I am the Queen of the Aztec nation! The sacrifice was just made to the gods; they are pleasantly pleased!" Amazon purred, smiling. She nodded to all other leaders, excited to learn more. She asked a rather strange question to the cats at the gathering. "So, What part of the body to you sacrifice to your gods? We believe that the heart is the purest and best! But other parts can be good as well..." She said. And she wasn't talking about prey, either. Her civilization had not heard of other cultures, and thoght all were alike!

    Goldenstar of Light Clan walks in casually. "Greetings" he says formally.

    Amazon sighed, excited to met other cultures. The queen of aztec gave a bright smile, black fur seeming to glimmer. Her amber eyes flashed with curiosity as she gazed upon the new cat. She wondered what a "clan" was...

    RoseStar walked forward, intrigued by the Aztec she-cat. "Where are you from?" Her cream and white pelt ruffled as the wind blew through it.

    "I am from the Aztec island, the great nation. Yes, its great; everyone loves me as queen. I am usually generous. As you can see, we have knights here, our princess, and a beautiful slave. We live in pure prosperity; the gods award us for sacrifices!" Purred the Aztec queen. Amazon paused. "And... How is your lifestyle? What do you give your gods?" Asked the she-cat, not realizing there were different types of religion.

    Skunkstar was stuck on the Queen's question she asked confusedly, "Sacrifice?"


    Aracari purred and offered her leader a piece of fruit happily musing, "It only grows on the mainland."

    "Oh goodie! Thank you!" Amazon purred, tail flicking. "And yes; we offer hearts to the gods, and prosper in result..." She smiled; to her, it was the most natural thing in the world.

    Knight blinked in confusion.Sacrifice?I knew cats were strange but not crazy! She thought and her tail twitched.
