Phoenix Witches

The Phoenix are a family of powerful elite assassin Witches descending from the time of the Salem Witch Trials. They are born with a distinctive birthmark of the Phoenix, representing their rise from the ashes of Salem. The Phoenix are described as having no allegiance to anyone other than those of their own kind and are willing to seek out and kill any bounty even if it means being hired by evil beings to kill innocent targets. The only magical way to kill a Phoenix Witch is to cast a spell on them and remove there reconstitution power.

The non-magical way to kill a Phoenix Witch is for the Phoenix to simply get badly ill or die of old age. Or by a man made object or weapon, it is unknown if bullets can harm them. They are small coven of 4 members.

Hereditary Witches

Also known as a Family Tradition Witch, it is someone who has been taught "The Old Ways " as a tradition passed down through the generations of their family. Though you may be born into a family with the tradition, you can not be born a witch, a conscious decision and acceptance of “The Craft” is necessary to become a witch. You have to be given the gift. They practice pure magic. There are only 4 in there coven that have accepted the gift.

Traditional Magic is one of the oldest and purest forms of sorcery inherent to the Earth and the forces of nature. Traditional magic is undoubtedly the most popular form of witchcraft known-to-man, however it is also the most exhausting. This is mainly due to the fact whenever a witch uses this power they must exert their own energy, causing them to experience symptoms of dizziness, fatigue, and minor nosebleeds. If someone pushes to hard with their magic, it will push back.They are the 'witch cousin' to Ancestral witches, and they are a joined coven.
Ancestral Witches

The origin of ancestral magic is unknown but it appears to remain a traditional source of magic for the coven of witches that reside here. Ancestral Magic works by connecting with the magic of the witches dead ancestors and allowing it to flow through them. To keep their magic flowing any witch who practices ancestral magic must perform a ritual every 300 years or so that is known as the sacrifice. A powerful object or person, must be sacrificed by each member that practices so that they energy may flow back into the earth to appease their ancestors and make the connection between the witches and their ancestors stronger to give the witches even more power. If they fail to do so, they will loose all magic.

Dark witches

Dark witches participate in Dark Magic also known as Black Magic, is a form of witchcraft that draws on malevolent powers, and may be used for dark purposes that deliberately cause harm in some way (e.g. to injure or kill, to cause destruction or misfortune, or for personal gain without regard to harmful consequences). In popular usage, the term "dark magic" is often used to describe any form of magic that goes against the balance of nature. This is also a form of 'Voodoo.'

Witch Hunters

A Witch Hunter is a person that hunts witches usually with the intention of permanently destroying them. Hunters often keep themselves physically and mentally strong in order to be able to seek out and face their opponents. They often use special weapons, surprise or stealth tactics in order to be able to overpower their much stronger opponents. Hunters' crusades against witches go almost as far back as the origin of witchcraft itself. They are in a group (coven in the sign-ups) called Cacciatore.

As the human race repletes the majority of the Earth’s population, they are commonly noted for their desire to influence and understand the environment by seeking to explain and manipulate phenomena through mythology, philosophy, religion, and science. A witch can often pass on their magic to a human. It is rumored that is what the Phoenix witches did before the rose again.

Personality: Divinity is a quiet girl living a very sheltered life. However, the extreme levels of restriction that have been placed upon her, has caused her to be hot tempered, a bad combination with her level of power. Divinity seems to be used to getting her way, and when things go awry she is short-tempered. She has some authority issues, and hates being told no. Her base personality seems to be that of a sweet girl longing for a normal life, however the events of her life have given her a dark side that she is not afraid to use, if the situation calls for it. She became more determined after her mother died, to keep her friends safe and do whatever is possible to accomplish her ends. She became wiser and more clever, as she managed to keep the hunters at bay despite being responsible for drawing attention to her coven.
