[justify]growing up, they were best friends, the closest. they shared the most wonderful bond. their sophomore year of high school, the biggest new year eve's party is thrown and finally they are old enough to go, but both dateless. the two of them come to a mutual agreement that they go -- just as friends, since their entire lives that's all they ever were. they never spent a single moment of their lives apart, that is until her father has to move his company to the other side of the country. she had to leave her beautiful home of california to move to the big city -- new york. she was terrified to tell him she was moving. so she didn't tell him until the last possible minute. she promised herself while all the couples share their first kiss of the new year when the clock strikes midnight, she would break the news. the time comes and she's about to say the heart breaking words, when he kissed her, surprising the both of them. she feels her heart tear into two pieces right after the kiss. he told her how he felt about her, but she had to break his heart. she just blurted out the big move and left him there standing alone at the party. never to be seen again. she spent her entire junior year in new york. it took her a long time to finally adjust to her new lifestyle when her father announces they can move back to california. a part of her is excited to be back, but another part of her is terrified to see him again. but the thing is, all that time apart caused them both to change a little. he became a bit more rebellious, more than he was anyways. became a little bit of a player. began to care a little less about her, she hardly crossed his mind that whole year. but she changed too. she became a little shyer. timid, but still her sweet self. what's going to happen when these two, now very different people cross paths again? will they remember each other as the friends they were? or will there changed personalities ruin there life long friendship?
