Dante walked around town thinking of Shadow

Shadow hopped out the window staff in hand with a heavy heart walking around on windowsills little kids pointing at her and parents wondering what in the world the girl was doing.

Dante started humming to himself

She spotted him after climbing to the rooftops to get a better look and wove her staff around some hoping he would see her.

He smiled and climbed up. "Hello shadow."

"Hey uh," She waved back not knowing how to put it but swallowed the spit in her mouth and spoke, "My commander wants me to go back to Britain since we're losing the war."

"Wh-Wha!?" He said shocked. He gulped down a golf ball sized lump in his throat and looked at her as if it was a joke. "Your kidding...right?"

She just shook her head, her golden headband shining as she shook it. "I wish it was. He said we're leaving next week."
