  • the deaf apprentice wanted to explore. her yellow eyes were bright and her cream fur was shining. today was the warmest day on blizzardclan. she was currently in a grassy patch of sunlight, and she walked forward to stay warm. even though she could not hear them, firepaw knew the birds were singing.

  • [align=center][font=georgia][size=8]Cierva was just outside BlizzardClan territory. Why? She had no reason. Really, all the Elite wanted to do was explore while she was still on earth. The she-cat had come here by choice, and though Sagittarius wanted to go home, that dream was far off. The land was strange here. It wasn't like the open moors and sparse-treed forests like in BreezeClan, near the farm. Nonetheless, Cierva was intrigued by the area. Little did she notice the young she-cat resting so close by. Though she was quiet, her ginger and white pelt was not easily missed near the green of the earth.

  • [align=center][font=georgia][size=8]Cierva's ears shot up in surprise. Turning her head, yellow-green eyes narrowed at a young apprentice-aged cat. "What are you doing out here, kid? You lost or something?" she asked. Her voice was innocent, but also suspicious.

  • " huh- oh.. hi. " her yellow eyes widened. who was this person? she didn't smell like she was from blizzardclan..

  • [align=center][font=georgia][size=8]"You didn't answer my question," Cierva said, giving her tail an irritated flick. "But no matter. I am Cierva, an Elite of BreezeClan. And you are?"

  • How was she supposed to get along with a deaf cat? Feeling quite awkward, Cierva was at a loss of what to do. "Um... what's your name?" she asked clumsily, shuffling her paws.

  • a slight grin crossed her face. name. that she ahd caught. " I'm fireflies. and if you have telepathy you can communicate better with me. "

  • [align=center][font=georgia][size=8]Telepathy? Cierva had not dared use the powers given to her by Ecclesia. She was scared enough of her own personal power without having five others to deal with.

"Go ahead," the voice whispered quietly in her ear. It was very much a part of her own soul, and there was nothing the BreezeClanner could really do about it now.

Giving a sigh, the she-cat aimed to telepathically communicate with the apprentice, Fireflies. Her control over the power sucked, but at least she could try. "This better? I'm Cierva, an Elite of BreezeClan."

  • it was a little rusty, but it was better than lip reading. is a elite like a deputy? I'm a warrior of blizzardclan.

  • [align=center][font=georgia][size=8]"Elite is more of an Assistant Deputy," Cierva explained, finding it so weird to be conversing with a cat with no audible words. "And are you a warrior? You seem a bit too young."

  • [align=center][font=georgia][size=8]"Must have gone through training fast," Cierva mused. "In BreezeClan at least, you don't become an apprentice until you are seven moons old because of the harsh territory. You usually become a warrior at fourteen or fifteen moons."

  • [align=center][font=georgia][size=8]"Lucky. Some could be jealous. They may try to deafen themselves for benefits like that," Cierva mused jokingly. Of course she didn't mean it, but coming off as rude was the last thing on her mind.

  • she winced at that comment. she really hated being reminded that other warriors were perfectly normal and she was not. not if they knew how sad it was. fireflies grit her teeth in her mouth. if she was speaking aloud her voice would've been a mix of anger and sadness.

  • [align=center][font=georgia][size=8]"That's too bad," Cierva murmured out loud, forgetting to use her telepathy. She wasn't used to using any of her powers, and rather despised them all actually.
