Her ears perked at the sound of the lynx, her head turning all around her to see if she could spot the big cat. Then, just barely, she could see a familiar pattern going across what used to be the stone building her and the tom had been on. "Hide," she half growled have regularly said before running over to the bush she was hiding in before and took cover, keeping her eyes in the direction of the building.

Icarus|1.8 years|Male|Cat|

IC; Taking cover in the first bush he spotted, the tabby looked around for the black cat, it was gone. The lynx in the distance was now very visible. He waited, if he moved, the lynx would know, and it would eat him.OOC;
-
At first she could see the lynx walking across the rubble, but now it wasn't visible from where she was standing. Not liking that, and knowing that she planned on getting away anyways, she knew something had to be done. Looking over at the tabby, she whispered, "this'll be the second time I risk my tail for you." She jumped out of the bush and she saw the lynx look her way. She let out a hiss before charging in the opposite direction, the lynx following her, not looking towards the other cats.

IC; That's suicide! He thought as he watched the lynx chase her. It seemed like the gap was shortening, and soon, the lynx would catch up to her. "Sometimes, tail-risking isn't a smart thing to do." He meowed to himself, pushing himself out of the bush, following the lynx's path as fast as he could go.OOC;
-
Catching up to the tom, he panted, "Do you plan on dying today, then?" pausing briefly, he continued, "Because chasing a lynx is how you get killed."
Deciding to give the tom a few seconds to think about that, he resumed, "And lynxes are foul creatures. They don't really care about anything other than eating you. You know. Once they take you."
Continuing to follow the lynx, he noticed they weren't really closing the distance, not as fast as the lynx was.**Night**2 1/8yrs**Black Tom**

IC; "There isn't much left to live for in the first place. Besides, you're coming along, Night." He answered simply. The distance between them and the lynx was finally shortening, but the lynx was still almost on the she-cat's tail. "But before I do die, I'd like to take a lynx with me, like you would."OOC;

Being chased down by the lynx was making her heart race, but she knew that she wasn't even using all her speed on this. No, this was just the beginning. Seeing another set of vines climbing up a building like on the one that had fallen, the she-cat made a sharp turn, sliding her paws across the ground and running towards the building, knowing that lynxes had a tough time climbing straight up. She instantly charged up to the building and pounced up, clawing her way up the vines.

IC; The lynx stopped abruptly, having lost its target to a building. It spoke to them in its odd voice, "Stop! I tell you, that cat is danger. If you know what's right, turn now and I will tell my allies to let you be... for the time being." Confused, the tabby asked, "You speak... cat? I've never heard of a lynx that speaks cat."Lynx; The spotted feline nodded, "I do. Spent time with cats before things change. I ask you to accept my offer."

Even though a lynx talking even surprised the she-cat, she didn't want to turn back and find out why or how. She simply glanced down and stopped on a platform like the one that was on the other building. Her eyes instantly spotted the two toms who had been at the other building, but she knew that even they were on a suicidal note. Even talking to a lynx or chasing one down was like asking to get eaten.

IC; The lynx was giving him a choice: leave unharmed, or die. The most logical choice was to leave unharmed, and, if he really wanted to, return to this location to seek the she-cat. He never did get to ask her for her name. "Very well." He meowed simply, signaling for the black tom to come with him. He had a plan.Lynx; Dipping his head, the lynx meowed his thanks. A group of lynxes was approaching. He signaled them to refrain from attacking the two cats, and they all headed towards a small derelict fountain in the centre of the plaza.
OOC; Do lynxes "meow"?
-
Once they were out of the plaza, Night meowed, "So, what's your plan?"
As they entered a small building that had strategic potential, he did not give the tabby time to reply, "You know, this building would make a nice place to live. You know, until we figure out what to do."
He still didn't fully understand why the tom wasn't answering. Perhaps it had something to do with his "spying" while they were at the destroyed structure. He decided to apologize, "I'm sorry about what happened at the structure. I wasn't spying, I was hiding. At first, I thought you were working with the lynxes to catch me. I see now I was wrong to think that."**Night**2 1/8yrs**Black Tom**

IC; The two-level building was covered in foliage, like the remainder of the city. With the plaza, where the lynxes had set up camp, between them and the building in which the she-cat was last seen, the two toms went onto the level two balcony, a small platform supported by eight pillars, most of which were now hidden by small, growing trees, the black bars provided adequate concealment for them. Although the building itself seemed rather ancient, it seemed to be stable. Night was right about one thing, the building made a decent headquarters.OOC; Have a building picture (in case description is lacking or something)

(Been inactive on this account. Sorryz
)She then glanced down over the edge of the platform she was on, seeing the two cats on the inside. She didn't want to show herself again, nor did she want to hide from them forever. The only thing she really could do was relax where she was and watch whatever happened below her.
-
IC; Staring into the park, the green-eyed tabby looked at the Lynxes. They seemed to only want to kill things, but for some reason, they had let him slip away. Unless they had another reason... something more sinister. He hopped down from where he was, landing onto a small tree growing on the side of the structure. The tom was no more skillful at climbing trees than a dog, but he was as good as a rock at falling down trees. He landed nimbly on the ground, moving towards the lynxes.
OOC; It's fine

Night hissed in annoyance. Why hadn't he stayed still like he told him to? Moving towards the lynxes was the most gorse-brained thing he'd seen the tom do so far, and he'd seen enough to judge his character. The lynxes would kill him, but only if the lynxes stayed where they were.
Seeing as to how dedicated to his task the tom was, whatever that task may be, the jet-black tom rolled his eyes and lashed his tail. Sometimes, you had to get rid of lynxes the suicidal way. By running right at them.
(Hello!)

The she-cat shook her head before turning away and laying down, wrapping her tail around herself and laying her head between her paws. She let out a sigh as she awaited to hear the painful yowling that was soon going to come from the tom. She had saved him twice already, but she didn't ask for anything in return, so she didn't really get why she should be worried about the tom going towards the big cats.
-
IC; Shaking a tree vigorously, he sent a couple of birds flying, squawking in terror. The lynxes turned around, running towards the growing flock of birds. These lynxes seem to be more incompetent than the average lynx. He pondered, crossing the empty park stealthily. Stopping in little cover, he realised he had absolutely no reason to be doing so. He shook the thought vigorously. If he wanted to kill himself, he'd jump into the lynxes, not around them.
Picking a random structure, Icarus jumped through an opening and landed awkwardly on the other side. He preferred the old ways, when he had others. But that way was lost, he understood that fully now. If he wanted to achieve anything, he'd have to help himself, and only himself. He needed to get away from Night, and the other cat. The best way to do that would be to check from the top of the structure.

Mouse-brain! He thought as he threw himself at the lynxes. This wasn't how he'd planned to die. He wanted to die in glorious battle, or at least of something more interesting than his stupidity. At least he could spend his last moments pondering the value of helping others. The lynxes rushed past him, ignoring him completely. Confounded, the jet-black tom retreated to a nearby bush, from where he could watch the lynxes.
