The New Clan

    I (KitStar) was displeased. I frowned up at a FrozenFire. "You have not changed, FrozenFire." I growled. " don't take my place. I am very capable of speaking, unles you have a plot to overthrow me. A coudeta, perhaps?"
    I purred, angry. FrozenFire looked down at his paws in shame. "How do you know?" I poked my long, pink tongue at him and yelled as loud as my tired lungs could hold. "YOU WERE PLANNING A COUDETA?" "Well, not ME precisely." FrozenFire calmly meowed. He pointed his paw at the most suspicious cat in the clan, RavenTail. "OI, YOU, RAVENTAIL!" BurningIce was dragging RavenTail by his jet black tail.

    I growled in disgust, "I would never plan a coudeta"
    KitStar stared at me with her ears back, "didn't you just point to RavenTail and confessed?"
    "RavenTail is lost, he was taken by a twoleg, don't you remember?"
    KitStar just continued to stare at me
    "KitStar, I'm just taking your place as clan leader temporarily, you are a queen now and you have responsibilities to your kits, until they grow strong enough to become an apprentice, you will stay queen, it is a law of this clan, you should know this. Your mate agrees."
    KitStar shook her head, "I'll give my kits to another qu-"
    "No" BlueStone interrupted as he laid next to her, placing his paw on her back, "These are our kits and we are going to raise them to be as strong and smart as we are. Darling, you need to stay with our kits. If you are not comfortable with FrozenFire taking your place for now, then why did you make her deputy in the first place?"
    BlueStone started to purr as he groomed KitStar, "Just get some rest. You will be Leader once our kits start sleeping in the apprentices den."
    I slowly smiled reassuringly, gave KitStar some poppy seeds and padded off to check on the elders.

    I felt useless, other cats are fighting for their lives and the clan's. I should be helping them, my friends, family. I shook my head, FrozenFire, get a grip, you are running the clan for now, helping the elders, the queens and the kits, dont feel useless.
    I padded in a circle on a hight rock and sat down, overseeing the cats, "everyone." i called out, "we need to leave soon, otherwise the attacking ShadowClan will find us and try to kill us, so please prepare."
