Elmlala is a floating castle that hovers above center of six other kingdoms. Each of those six kingdoms were originally a part of one kingdom called Galana centuries ago. Many decades after was formed, the people from it's four territories began to be too different and began to make their own traditions, cultures, and laws. You see each of the four are easily differentiated from each other due in part to differences in climate as well as culture and tradition. At times these differences have caused some disagreements in the past and there were more than a few wars did break out but none as big as the final war. The final war did broke among the all four kingdoms no child or woman was save from the cross fire. Fortunately the final war was stopped by the young King of Elmala. The needless blood shed ended and the King of Galana decided it was for the best that his kingdom would become four separate ones.

After he appointed new rules for each of the four new kingdoms, they in return gave him and his descendants the title of High King. Despite the High Kings not being king of a region, he still has power over the other kingdoms which is why he is known as 'High King'. Since after the nightmare of the Final War that broke out a few centuries ago, each of the High Kings has always put forth an effort to step in and prevent outbreaks of waring acts among the kingdoms in an effort to preserve peace from the floating castle of Elphanor in the neutral land in the center of the four kingdoms .

Though they were once were one big kingdom, each individual region isolates itself from those around them. Some isolate themselves because they pride themselves on being better than the other three, some out of hatred for one or more of other kingdoms, and some simply wish to be left in peace and on their own. The six kingdoms may have seperated from each other but all of them are still highly respectful or fearful of the High King and will come when he summons them to his castle.Those who cause trouble or try to influence chaos in any form are punished. To try and inspire rebellion or de-throne the High King would provoke an immediate death sentence.

In the last couple of decades, the four kingdoms are growing restless with long time of peace and signs of another war are clear.

However, the wise old King has a trump-card up his sleeve.

On the wind there whispers an old legend about the Gods tipping the scales of fate in a way until any other that were directed to the High King's ears. The King decided to arrange each of the princes and princesses, including the heir not apart of the six kingdoms, to marry a commoner from another kingdom. If the royals of each kingdom could love and gain insight of the people around them who were most effected by war, he believes that just maybe they could finally look past their differences and willfully become allied kingdoms once again...

With the six sister kingdoms, there are two more crown prince and princess that will part take in the High King's plan for peace. Apart from the six 'local' kingdoms of the country, there is yet two other kingdoms. Though unlike the others, Airis is a new kingdom compared to the other four and is rapidly growing. At first, Airis was a small city off the coast of the country but now is a whole kingdom is located in the middle of the sea and has greatly prospered from the state it once was.

Then you have the ancient kingdom of Avalar, a kingdom far older than the four pieces of Galana and even Galana itself before it was torn into four new kingdoms. It's located over the sea, beyond Airis and is a strange land with four seasons and where magic flows from its core.

The High King, now an ancient man and approaching the autumn of his years is well aware that if the four kingdoms remain as they with their current levels of hostility and isolation, when his title changes to the 'Late High King' war will inevitably, in the following years, come with his passing.But since the city quickly grew into a kingdom, there are some that think that Airis should start and win a war with the five land kingdoms along with ancient knowledge and power of Avalar would be disastrous if they were to become enemies. Yes, it would be suicide for them to openly start a war, but with the High King not only seeking peace with the four kingdoms but also with the sea and strange kingdom. The engagement alliance is just too tempting to refuse by anyone even if its commoner being their partners.

This was of course assuming that everything went as planned, but with those who are still young, one can never be certain.

Six commoners from different kingdoms have now been chosen for various reasons and will attend a ball held in the High King's castle on the floating island of Shi no ōkoku where the princes and princesses will also be in attendance. The commoners may have heard about the princes and princesses but never before have seen them, let alone met them. Commoners were strictly forbidden from entering any Royal Palace without summons before, which hardly ever happened.

The time grows near, and the ten youngsters bound by the King's thread of fate and arranged to be married will soon meet each other at the ball.

The Six Kingdoms:

Aisurando lies in the North, with a nearly perpetual winter climate of ice and snow. The Kingdom of Ice, as many people call it. People in this kingdom have adapted to these harsh climates buy skinning the animals around them for clothing. Many commoners hunt down seals, polar bears, white foxes, and wolves for meat and trade their fur for fruits and vegetables, but it's rare for them to have "green" portions of their meal more than once every couple of months and eat nearly an all meat diet.

Dezāto lies South. Largely encompassed by desert landscapes, Dezāto boasts a nearly perpetual summer climate. The Kingdom of forgotten kingdoms, as many call it. Ruins of small and large hind in the sand domes slowly turning into dust as time goes on. A few of the Commoners of this kingdom have taken treasure hunting as their profession, while other tend to make do what they find and build inventions to improve their lives even a bit. Like Nettai Urin, Dezāto does live off the land as such. Even if it might be too dry. They mainly leather from Gaint Scorpions, skins of the various snake speices, and fruits from their oasis which that largest oasis is where the captial and castle are built on.

Nettai urin is located in the East, , with a nearly perpetual spring climate. Nettai urin is often called the Flower Kingdom. It is one of the most breath taking kingdoms, due to flowers always being in bloom and perfum like smells fill the air. So it's not all that big of a shock that the castle where Nettai urin's rulers live in was made in the large and oldest tree in Nettai urin. Healing herbs, flowers, perfums, and decorative clothing are mainly what Eden trade with both Elphanor and Iroldak. With trading with Aisurando, Nettai urin trades their fruits and vegetables for their meat. Also Nettai urin has a large population of many deer, elk, and rabbit species.

Hinotochi lies West, with a nearly perpetual fall climate. The Rusted Gold Kingdom or the Fire Kingdom, as it is often called. hinotochi got those nicknames from their maple trees that always have red, yellow, or orange colored leaves making an illusion as if the forests are either made of rusted gold or it is on fire. The harvest of Hinotochi is all year round with apples, wheat, accorns, pumpkins, and chestnuts. Many Commoners are farmers which many of them grow mainly apples and chestnuts since they are high in demand of their trading withAisurando and Dezāto. Many people enjoy eating apple and chestnut pies along with fresh wheat bread. Also Hinotochi is hidden under a volcano.

Mizunotochi, lies off the coast and in the middle of the sea. As its nickname suggest,Mizunotochi is built on the water in the middle of the sea. The kingdom uses waterways acting as roads to travel from place to place in small boats of various sizes. Most citizens have at least one gondola to travel around in and if they own a shop, then they have a store boat also. Mizunotochi only does trading with the Land of ice, especially since the mother kingdom's trade was one of the reasons how Airis became the kingdom that it is now instead of a small city. Mizunotochi has quite the exotic fruits that are strange looking but sweet to the smell and taste that only grow in large masses of water. Also fishing is another job that most commoners have in the kingdom. But there are a few rumors that there is more to Mizunotochi that meets the eye. Like an underwater portion to the kingdom that lay hidden from the surface.

Shi no ōkoku is the oldest kingdom that still exist as far as anyone knows. Not much is know about this ancient kingdom since they seem they don't trade or they simply trade with other kingdoms. What is knew is that Shi no ōkoku is a strange land across the sea where it have even four seasons and where magic is order. The name means land Of Death and Darkness, for the ruler as of know, Has........Issue's.

Uranus- These are angel like beings that have different shades of white wings. They are rightous and just that hate to see a wrong doing unpunished or others are more pure hearted and hate to see pain of any kind on others. They have a ability to lift a person's mood by just by being in the room. They can do some white magic.

Oni- These are demons that love fooling the naive or causing another harm and get pleasure from it. In other words they are the polar opposite of Urannuses, and tend to highly dislike anything cute, fluffy, sugary, or nice. They can see people's inner demons like jelously or greed and use that against that person. Some are more evil than others, like some are cold blooded killers while others just enjoy tormenting or pranking. They can either manulate shadows or use black magic.

Warlock- These are humans that come from a long line of spell casting masters and still have magic in their veins. They can do a wide field of spells anything from making the mop doing the house chores to summoning thunder to strike down your enemy.

Taura- These are fighters that have super strength compared to the rest of the other races. They could break a boulder with a punch or bend any metal. The down side to the Tauras is that have no magic or mystical powers of any kind.

Alcatraz- They are very skilled at potions. They can do any kind of potion, and most of them last forever, well, besides the love spell- but the love spell can last for a long time. For some spells they have to have certain things to make it.

Seer- These are the fortune readers, future seekers, and are telepaths. They each have one ability along with telekinesis like they can read cards, read minds, look into the future, etc.

Ymir- These are people that have the power of ice. Ymirs can create ice if they are at a high level in their skills, but usually they use what they have around them. Even though they can only control ice, they have no powers over water or steam, they can freeze water and then use it for their bidding.

Golem- Golems are elementals of the earth element. Though they can not create their element out of thin air, as long as they are on some kind of mass that was built with rock, clay, iron, etc they can control it. Not one Golem can control everything dealing with the earth element. For example, one Golem can transform metal can't control rock and another might even control sand and clay-like rock.

Djinn- Djinns are people that can control the air element. They have no need to create air since air is all around them. When a Djinn uses their abilities, the air that they are using will have a light tint of a color, which various to person-to-person, so it's not completely invisible. Some that have more control their powers can even fly.

Ifirit- These are the fire beings. Ifirits can create and control fire, even though those with a high skill can create fire. Using fire is not a resriction to them since one can say they can control heat as well. Like a user can create their own armor by increasing their body temperatures so that it can burn (or in some case even melt metal) their enemies. Though it's more common to see a Ifirit heating up their tea that grew cold.

Naiad- Naias are people that can control water and can extract water from the air if they are highly skilled. They can use any water around them, but they can not control ice or steam. They could melt the ice into water, change the water temperature into freezing or boiling temperatures, and some can also examine an injured or ill person by 'asking' the water inside the person's body.

Faaras- They are part animal and have cat, dog, bunny, etc ears and tail and can transform into their animal. Faaras will have ears, spots, stripes, feather-like features, tail or a combination of physical features. Like one Tiger Faaras might have faded stripes with a tail while another Tiger Faaras and can have ears and a tail. A Faaras can transform into the animal that they share characteristics with. Like a Tiger Faaras can transform into a tiger.

Nymths- They are plant and nature loving people that have a magical green thumb. With a simple whisper, they could turn a small seed into a full grown plant and that can talk to animals.

Selkie- These are people that can live their whole lives underwater and never having to get air from the surface. Selkies have gills that are more visible under water but only slightly when they are on land. In the water, they can transform their bottom half into a tail of a sea creature. Some have shark, dolphin, whale, angel fish, etc tails and some grow fins on their fore arms also. Like Faaras, they can't choose what sea species that they share phyiscal traits with it's something they are simply born with. Though unlike Faaras, they can not fully transform- they can only transform the bottom half of their bodies. But they can comminuate with the creature that shares traits with. Like a Dolphin Slekie can comminuate with dolphines, Trout Selkie can comminuate with trout.

((You can also have a 'mixed blood' character that have parents of two races, but no more than that. A mixed blood character can have both race abilities BUT one is much stronger than the other and even the stronger trait can't compete with a true blood of that trait. They could also simply look like one of the races but have abilities of the other. Mixes bloods of most kingdoms are frowned upon and usually 'not treated fairly' and that's putting it lightly))

2. I would like for you guys be able to post at LEAST twice a week, but for college students I understand if you can't meet that requirement .
3. Respect all of your fellow RPers and me. Yes, characters can make drama but not the RPers with other RPers.
4. No God-modding or auto-hitting, basically hitting someone multiple times without giving them a chance to defend themselves and also dodging or blocking every attack. Keep the fighting, if there is, to somewhat a realistic level. No character will be an expert fighter when they're only 18-21
5. No killing other characters, all twelve are needed.
6. Have fun and if you want to reserve a character, submit one, or have a question PM me or post in the OOC thread once I have it up.

Background Information about Your Kingdom:
Luke lives in the very mists of Hinotochi. Every friday, the people of fire praise their gods and goddess's. One of the laws (which luke never listens to), is if you are under 21, you must be tied to you home EVERYDAY. You could never go a mile without the Cops on your trail. Atradtion for the taura's or the ifirit's is to watch the 'fire dance'.

Race: Taura and Ifirit. Mostly Taura.

Ablitlies: Luke's main ability is his strength and the ability to control it. He may seem rough on the outside, but he is very calm. His fire ability makes it easy to start, and finish anything burning.

Weapons:A huge sword.

Personality: An arrogant and proud swordsman at first, Luke believes himself to be King even though his Father is still alive. However, he discovers the memories of who he was were not his own and, with the help of his friends, learns there is more to being a hero than possessing physical strength and fame.

Bio:Luke grew up wealthy and not spoiled. he under his own will, he dress's as a commoner warrior. Luke has never bonded right with his father. After all, he was 49 when he was born. Luke is a bit cocky, but he knows he can rule. They first time he found out about his powers is when he was seven and accidentally killed his mother. He wears scars all over his body from the beatings he took as punishment. he was only 15 years old. The whole time he thought of a girl with white eyes and hair. Ablitlies: Momo's greatest ability is using her magic to create living things. She looks at her stuffed animals says a spell and Poof!!! A living, breathing stuffed toy.Also her ability makes it easier for her to shift eye color depending on the mood.

Personality: Momo, like her mother has spunk and a light that can't be dimed from her country.She has a sense of humour,pretectiveness over her friends and and emptyness in her mind. Momo's own personality can be explained threw her life's story, but she has always been socially awkward because of her..... Father and race(s).

Bio:Momo was born of an accidental marrage. When Momo was younger, Her father left her mother broke and in a shack. On the night of her sixth birthday, an angry mob of her father's buddies burned there house down. not too long after, they tried to take her away from her mother. She got Momo and ran as far away as possible. Momo and Mother, Mai lived on the oceanside for eight more years. One day Momo decided to run to the city to find her poor excuse of a father, and it costed her mothers life. Once her father,Reaper, heardabout it...he came running to the ocean home. Momo fought her father with all the life in her,, and lost. She was miserable until she turned seventeen. She than forgave her father, the people who hurt her, bullied her and outcasted her. That must be the reason why the Old King decided she was worthy of marring a fool?

Personality: Danikai is a very energetic girl. She has ADD and is often getting into trouble for not doing what she is supposed to do. Other than that, she is very kind and loyal. She has a tendency to speak her mind.

Bio:Danikai was raised by a middle-clasld family with one older brother and two workibg parents. She spent most of her time doing whatever she pleased. However, for two years she was left under the watchful eye of her uncle, and after that she swire that nobody would ever keep her from doing things her way. She highly disapproves of strict rules and arranged marriges. She had always felt that people should be free to do as they wish.
