"I think you're just being lazy." Era sniffed, skimming through different horror movies until she came across Pet Semetary. It was a classic horror movie by none other than the king of horror himself- Stephen King. "What about Pet Semetary? Not to ruin the entire movie for you or anything, but it's about this family who moves to a new house near a creepy Indian burial ground that can bring animals and people back to life once their dead, but they're all jacked up when they come back alive."

Grinning, Era pressed play on the remote and the movie began to load. She couldn't help but to wonder why Loki was even bothering with her anymore. All that she was doing was making him watch lame horror movies, yet he seemed to be enjoying himself. She glanced over at him for a moment, and then quickly looked away, not wanting to get caught, as Pet Semetary fully loaded and began playing.

Era watched every last bit of he movie, excluding the part where the sixteen-wheeler truck ran right over the little boy. That was the one scene where she'd been forced to close her eyes. The rest of the movie, though, she watched ease until the credits rolled in and it ended at last. "Well, what did you think about that one?" she demanded curiously, every ounce of attention moving from the television screen over to Loki.

Although it was only mid-day at latest, she nodded and stood up, leaving the entire couch to him. "Yeah, sure. If you need me, I'll be in my bed watching a movie." she announced, beginning to walk away to her bedroom.

Era sat up against the headboard of her bed, flipping through the different movies on Netflix. After a while, she settled with rewatching Silence of the Lambs, and cuddled up under the blanket, yawning. She was still sleepy, of course, but it was practically impossible for her to fall back asleep.

Era turned over in bed, looking away from the television and instead peering up at the ceiling. Her brother, when he had helped her move in, had thumbtacked a picture of a star to her ceiling as a joke. Yes, he thought he was so funny. He'd even told her,"Now you can sleep under the stars every single night!" Hm. Maybe she should give him a call? It had been a while since they'd last spoke. She glanced over to her phone, sitting on the nightstand next to her bed, and then sat up. She picked it up and dialed in his number in, letting it ring. On the second ring, he picked up. "Hello?" he picked up.

Unaware of Loki's vengeful thoughts and dreams, Era couldn't help but to grin as she heard her brother's voice on the other line. "Well, well, well. Cal Gabriels, is that really you that I'm hearing?" she laughed, sitting up and resting her chin on her knees as she spoke. There was a moment of silence and then her brother's light hearted words,"You know it, sweet cheeks. What in the world have you been doing lately, Era? It's only been freaking months since I've heard from you." Yeah, Era was a bit lazy when it came to keeping up with people, but she always came through for them in the end. "Not much... I'm, uh, still working down at Epulum's. And what about you?" She wasn't going to mention Loki to her brother. What would she even tell him? That she was allowing a total stranger to live in her house. A total stranger who, by the way, was totally guilty of killing thousands of people? Yeah, he wouldn't be very understanding. "Studying my butt off for tests. This whole Harvard thing is too complicated." he chuckled a little, but suddenly sounded a bit uneasy,"Speaking of which, I'm kind of in the middle of something. Uh- Can I call you back later? Will you pick up?" he asked. Oh. She'd caught him at a bad time. "Yeah... Of course. I miss you." she said, trying to sound as cheery as possible. "Miss you too, Er. Bye!" And then he had hung up.

IC: Just before he imagined his mom getting killied, he woke up. He sat there a few minutes contemplating on what he should do. He didn't want to bother Era with his foolish nightmares. But he didn't want to stay in the room.

Era sat up for another few minutes, staring at her brother's caller ID and hoping that maybe, just maybe, he would call her back immediately. No such luck. She tossed her phone to the side, and it landed safely on the other side of her bed. She contemplated going back out into the living room, but also didn't want to risk waking Loki up. Instead, she wrapped her arms around her knees, rested her chin on her knees again, and averted her attention back to the television, but wasn't actually paying much attention. Shew as more lost in thought than anything.

Well, it looked like Loki was awake. Scoffing, Era stood up and walked to the door. When she opened it and she saw Loki standing there, she couldn't help but to laugh. "Well, Loki. I hate to break this to you, but I'm not the most entertaining person in the world. I'm also not rich, so I don't have much food, and I have some pills that would probably knock you right out. I'm considering shoving them down your throat, but I doubt that it would work out very much in my favor." she teased.
