The spring's heat growing weaker and weaker thanks to the icy water. The mountains had been nice during the time she lived there but she had grown uncomfortable as the cubs home changed. The Snow Leopard had considered hanging around her old home if only to see her brother again, but it was enough for now knowing that he was alive and well in that old home.

Avoiding her clan inhabiting the ship, Harli traveled through the waters until she found the cave. There had once been a cheetah existing there but it seems that they had finally been beaten by the harsh life and left. It was a shame really. The cub had been full of strength and ideas.

Being spring the temperature wasn't completely unforgiving. Though the nights brought more cold than was comfortable. The upside was being able to witness a herd of deer migrate. Harli didn't hunt them, they were far to large for only one cub, though it did make her long for the security of a friend, her Roy. Yet none of the others had really held an interest in finding him, so she remained alone.

A week into her exploration of the insanity within her mind, Harli woke early to observe the sunrise, light bleeding into the darkness of the cave. A chilly morning breeze brought the scent of insignia across the sandy stretch. Was another person in the area? She followed the scent down to the lake, it was serene and still in the growing light. A figure caught Harli's eye and she headed nearer.
