It was the only cloud in the dimming sky, and it began to morph into the shape of a cat, a cat that looked like him. Standing, Monroe looked the cat in the eye, and then saw it slowly disappear. Was this his fate? The clouds never wronged him or his clan. But this was not your average clan. This was the Clan of Broken Glass. INTRODUCTION AND RELIGION That was an odd opening, but so is this place. Maybe it might be your new home, so keep criticism to yourself! We are an advanced fanclan with odd beliefs, odder ranks, and even an odder way of keeping track of the clan. Listen up, you might get interested. First off, females are the dominant gender. Alpha female, also known as Godessa, choses another male to co-lead which has graduated either from Loyal Cabinmaster or Cloud Guardian, both the highest ranks among toms and can only be earned by loyal toms. Toms have all the right to learn in the path of medicine yet just become Herb Teller, which is like medicine cat assistant, but never graduates from the rank unless put back in training as a War Guider, a warrior tom. Your probably thinking, it's like females just rule, right? No. After all cats die, a small, medium, or big piece of broken glass is used to sketch something into a piece of stone and lay it in the graveyard. Toms only get their name - or their name symbol - when dead in battle. Females get theirs if they die in childbirth, or while childbirthing. The female is a symbol of grace and power and is just highly more respected than males. Our religion mainly relies on Goddesses and Clouds. Cluo, our cloud god, is our main 'god'. Goryu, our Goddess queen, is what we trust and receive our prophecies from, and when something is up, Goryu forms a cloud telling what is wrong. Cluo's deadly yellow stare illuminates the cloud. This is our main religion and a few of our ranks. All religion is accepted but any hating of one's religion is considered Illegal in Mortimer's laws and can be punishable. Debating between myths and legends of a belief is completely aloud. The Clan Of Broken Glass is neither anti-clan or pro-clan. They do Capture, attack first, and start alliances as well as become enemies. They don't kill without reason, raid, or rape. WHO'S MORTIMER? You know our gods, Cluo and Goryu. But how about their father, Morty? Morty is believed to have once lived as a human - which is what the clan refers to them, they have grown to know most human things, and can make a few letters - though they pretty much look nothing like real letters - using triangular shapes - until one day when sculpting a sculpture of Goryu, a piece of stone hit a piece of broken glass, causing the father and his two god-like children into the galaxy, where Mort created a new land, planted trees, while Goryu and Cluo created animals, people, stars, and planets. Eventually everything was back to normal and perfect, ruled by the family. Mort avoided the humans, allowing them to grow on their own. But he one day found a tribe of cats called 'The Tribe of Reflections', and though he was beginning to see animals forming together in a clan, he had not yet seen any tribes. But somehow the whole tribe except a small kitten was trapped inside a house of mirrors, starving. Morty, with the help of the kitten, freed everyone. But to make sure no more near death experiences happened, Mort made a few laws and told the kitten to use them, follow them, and enforce them. When the tribe switched over to clan, the kitten was leader, and everyone took his laws serious by then. That leader later renamed himself to Guider, which when he died and his soul went to the heavens to become a Soulcat or a Cloudcat, he became Morty's pet and best friend, always helping those who's hearts are lost when Goryu and Cluo cannot help. WHAT ARE THE LAWS? Well every place has laws, it seems. Even here we do - which is punishable when breaking a law a trip to jail. Jail means you are called out inactive on your role and can be demoted. Though you have to roleplay in jail. If you don't roleplay in jail, you are called out and serve demotion. You can get out of jail by doing the Hawk's Beak challenge, or by paying a toll by asking for forgiveness to Mortimer, and that is a bigger punishment than everything else in the clan. Now to the laws, which will put you in jail. 1. Clan shall not drug the clanmates. 2. Clan shall not rape. 3. Clan shall not abandon young. 4. Clan starting unneeded battles without permission by Alpha's. 5. Calling out on belief shall not be done by Clan. 6. Jail can only be stopped three ways: Serve time, Have a small limb eaten off, or ask for forgiveness. Forgiveness gives member three new personality traits and removes two. Mind is erased of all acts of those traits and will forget of the Soulcats and Cloudcats and will believe all members go to greet Kore or Hades. 7. Clan shall follow rules or go to jail. Also follow all Alpha's words. OOC RULES Do not ask for HP! It is earned either ICly or if you prove you are advanced and capable of an HP through a sample of roleplaying that you have made before! Try to make plots among yourselves like 'What if Kati and Moe were actually siblings separated?' Like that stuff. DO NOT MAKE MAJOR PLOTS SUCH AS FLOODING WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. If the clan is successful every year we have the Cloud Ball. It celebrates all marriages of every cat in that year - including those who are getting married and are the same gender, man up - and celebrates the life of the clan itself, and will be taken seriously and will be attended by every member. No kin unless the other member approves or born through a litter. Each member must only have one cat at a time, then if the cat is accepted, you may create up to two more. You may only have one hp. They will be trained to tell stories, heal others, and have a motherly touch. You may become a Cabinmaster - this is only earned ICly - after producing one healthy litter of kittens and mastered raising them. Cabinmasters will have more respect than the average Cabiners. Earned ICly, currently none. CLOUD GUARDIAN Watches for clouds and sleeps in the Lighthouse with the apprentices. He trains them in religion and tells them stories and will tell them about the north star, how to identify clouds, and basic teaching of science and mythology. TERRITORY A grassy field area is where the Clan of Broken Glass resides. It is near the mountain and has a beach, as well. Though both areas are a bit far from camp. The lighthouse is where all apprentices except our Herb apprentices stay in, and also our Cloud Guardian. The lighthouse is perched on the hill that leads to the mountain. The cabins are closer to the beach, with males that live that are treated kindly and are used for breeding. They have eight cabins lined up, and each has a woody texture. Every Cabinmaster or Cabiner has their own bed and lives in a little luxury home. The observatory is where the Alpha's and Trainer's lives. In the Basement, it is heavily guarded and that is where our Nursery Warriors and young stay. A small village is lined up, connecting the cabins and the observatory. Each hut fits five warriors, and fives cabins are on each side with one big motel in the middle. Each hut fits a family of warriors, where warriors stay. In the motel, the Herb's stay. Every room helps patients, the Herbs themselves, and the actual herbs. Many loners and rogues waiting to join also stay here, as well as visiting family or friends. The jail is located at the bottom of the territory near the sea-side. It is your average stone brick building, high with barred up windows. It is a pretty much average jail. The clan usually eats fish, squirrel, turkey, deer or elk, and occasional toads. Fish and turkey ( as well as a few other smaller birds ) are there main diet.
