Frostpaw wondered why they should have a clan meeting now. Perhaps the kits were getting apprenticed? She sat down with the other cats, ready to listen.
Eagletalon narrowed his eyes. "Hmm," he murmured to himself. He padded toward smallrock and pricked his ears for the ceremony.
Stormeyes looked over to the rock, curious

Ic: "Today is a good day for our clan. Today one apprentice will become a warrior, Frostpaw, please come forward," Bamboostar said.
Frostpaw's eyes grew wide. "What? But I've only just become an apprentice," she meowed, shocked.

"Yes, Bamboostar," Eagletalon nodded his head and padded off. He was extremely cross with himself. Why can't she see that Frostpaw needs more training? She's already almost ten moons, and she can't go on being a warrior if she catches so little. I'm just trying to make this clan a better place. Why can't she just see that?

Rockstrike began shouting the name of the newest warrior. "Frostwillow! Frostwillow! Frostwillow!"

Stormeyes was taken aback at how young she was, and saddened by the fact that when she was 9 moons she had to drop out of her warrior training because oh her hips. But she was still proud of the young warrior

Frostwillow looked around and purred happily. "Thank you," she meowed, her voice shaking a little. "I will sit vigil tonight," she promised.

Guilt suddenly consumed her as she remembered the promise to her father. "O-Of course," Frostpaw managed to meow. "I'll do my best to serve the clan," she lied, trying to avoid eye contact with her leader.
Eagletalon flicked his tail, smiling a little. He was glad Frostpaw was a warrior. She had proven herself. Maybe they could be friends now.

Ic: Bamboostar looked at her former apprentice in confusion. 'Why is she acting strange? She's warrior now, shouldn't she be happy?' She thought to herself.
During the excitement of the ceremony, Rockstrike quietly slipped away. And waited in the usual spot to meet up with Berrytail.

Frostwillow tried her best to put on a show and act happy for the clan.
A shadow lurked on Bambooclan's border. Dark orange eyes calmy scanned the surroundings. "Hello, Rockstrike," Berrytail's deep voice was the only thing that moved in the still forest.
Cinderpaw watched as Rockstrike left. Silently, she followed after him, keeping enough of a distance between him. She flattened herself to the ground as she slowly followed, wanting to know why he had left so quick after the ceremony.

Stormeyes glanced around. she pulled herself into a sitting postion, and tried to stand up. her weak back legs trembled, but she slowly managed to get off the ground and soon she was standing, she tried to take a heavy step back towards the elders den

Cinderpaw slowly crept into a bramble bush, trying not to hiss as thorns began pricking her, slightly making the places bleed. She kept quiet as she tried to listen to what they were saying.

Rockstrike's ears swiveled as he thought he heard something in the bush. Deciding it was nothing, he ignored it.
Cinderpaw's ears lowered as she saw that Rockstrike had heard her. She silently hoped that the scent of the bush would disguise her own.
