    The large feline saw as she took a while to get up. Yes, maybe an Espada would have killed her while she was down. But he wasn't one was he? And so he simply stood there, with her own sword in his jaws. Dropping it onto the ground, he spit out some pieces of wood and sat himself down. "No obviously that would almost be impossible for me to do that with a real blade because it would have simply cut through my teeth and gums." Ichigo mewed calmly as he flicked his tail and rolled his shoulders. She definitely was getting better though.

    Flying over the tree tops, the snowy owl scanned the forest floor for a certain feline she hadn't seen in over a month. While she had been out wandering, the current raptor had discovered she had the power to shapeshift, which she was still getting used to.
    Spotting a flash of tawny, Silverstrike dove between two branches, landing directly in front of Ichigo. She promptly shifted into her wolf form, shuddering a bit as she heard her own bones snap and expand into place. Once fully formed, the canine looked at the cougar, now at eye level. "Long time no see Ichigo."

    [I'm honestly not sure because Ichigo doesn't really have time to crush on someone while worrying about the family he has been adopted into. And besides, something is gonna happen to him to break his spirits.]


    Ichigo had been calmly walking, Zangetsu rattling on his back. Since the last time that Silverstrike had seen him, he had been able to accumulate tons of scars, but all seemed to be focused around his shoulders. It was there that there were two scars on each side of his shoulders that seemed to line up perfectly on each side. That was when the cougar had been impaled by Zangetsu when he had fallen from a small cliff. Due to Silverstrike being an owl, he couldn't hear her silent wingbeats, and honestly, when the thing landed in front of him, he was scared out of his mind. "AHHHH!" The swordsman yowled as he stumbled backwards. It was then he watched the thing shift to a familiar form, and the cougar steadied his breath. "Silverstrike! You scared the sh*t out of me!." Ichigo said with somewhat wide green eyes. He flicked his large tail and rolled his shoulders, his joints popping in response. "Where have you been?"[/fancypost]

    Snorting in amusement at his reaction, Silverstrike took a moment to scan him over before speaking. "Good to know I haven't lost my skill in the element of surprise." Noticing his scars, the wolf eyed him down. "Seems you managed to scar yourself up a decent amount while I was gone." Taking a step back, she motioned to him with her tail, indicating they should walk. "As for where I've been, that's a bit of a long story. Neroik and I sometimes get the urge to wander wherever he day will take us. After I became an Aristocrat, opportunities for such things went down drastically. But, when Noirtstar demoted me, we took the opportunity it presented to go adventuring. The fact I've gained the ability to shapeshift helped on the way. Neroik and I could fly the entire day, seeing astounding places. We found an island out in the ocean that's inhabited by the strangest of birds! A valley so deep that some parts had never seen sunlight!" Enthusiasm and happiness rang in her tone as the canine spoke, amber eyes turning a happy shade of yellow. But after a few heartbeats, Silverstrike returned to normal, her features reverting back to their usual emotionless look. "But I'm still a HawkClanner at heart. So we came back. Maybe one day Noirstar will promote me to Aristocrat again one day, who knows?"

At the mention of his scars, he simply shrugged his shoulders in response. "Eh you know me. Always getting into trouble. Nothing too life threatening though." The Shinigami said calmly as he began to follow the wolf. The swordsman listened to her story some more, and was glad that she had least had a good time. But that didn't get rid of the fact about that she had left without saying where she was going. "Well you could have at least said where you were going." The cougar mumbled as he shook his fur, Zangetsu rattling on his back. "But I'm glad you got to get away and enjoy yourself. You deserved at least that much." Ichigo mewed in his calm tone as usual. It was obvious now that he was more serious than ever, and didn't seem to be a fan of showing any emotion, fearing that he might look weak. "Of course he will promote you. You probably know Hawkclan better than anybody." Ichigo said as he forced a smile to spread across his jaws and raise a tail to lay it across her shoulders.

Far as the wolf knew, her best friend was usually a tad more careful about where he was compared to Zangetsu. As he went on, her eyes widened a bit at the mention of one of their own going rogue, but relaxed at word of his capture. "Do you know why they went rogue to begin with?"
    Ok. She hadn't been aware of the Pocketpaw x Dimitri thing going on. And damn, Ichigo had something against the tom. Then again, she supposed that was rather understandable after what had happened. "You know, Ichigo, Dimitri was actually a really nice guy before....well before everything. It took about a week to heal." It wasn't exactly funny, but Ichigo never liked spending time in the past. He had a embarrassed grin spread across his jaws, but that didn't last long once they got to the topic of Toshiro. Ichigo shook his head at her question. "I have my theories, but I haven't been able to prove anything. He was able to injure other clanners while we were trying to track him down. He is currently being tested in Soul Society for might be wrong with him. My first theory is the fact that he had gotten possessed by...something. He was also able to kill three shinigami as well, proving just how strong and how much he doesn't control over himself currently."     Silverstrike hadn't personally met Toshiro, or she didn't think she had anyway, before his apparent killing spree. What was odd the canine was that not only had a Shinigami gone rogue, but a captain at that. "I you're thinking possession, that had have been one hell of a spirit. A Shinigami alone has a stronger mental and spiritual defense than most. But the captains are stronger even than that. And not only would it have needed to take over control of a strong mind, but then the spirit would have to have enough control to kill three of Toshiro's own. You may want to keep in mind that perhaps a Hollow got to him, that he did those things by choice." It was an awful thought, but greater maniacs had been brought down before. As he continued on back to the topic of Dimitri again, Silverstrike backed away in mock fear. "Woah there, kitty. Do you have any idea who was in control when Pocketpaw was attacked? Red eyes perhaps?"

    Ichigo of course had been able to place everything in his mind regarding Toshiro. He was one of most stubborn and mature out of almost all the Shinigami he knew. But he had gotten more powerful recently, and Ichigo began to wonder if his power could match against the snow leopards. The Captain-Commander nodded his head as he face remained serious. "I do indeed think it has been a Hollow that has somehow been able to invade his body. Some parasite or something, but I haven't given that theory to anyone as it seems farfetched. We'll see what Urahara comes up with when he's done with the tests." The cougar side as he pressed his paws to the side of his head. Indeed the entire situation was quite stressful for the tom, especially due to the fact that Ichigo was close to the guy. His fur began to bristle again, as he simply huffed at her mock fear.     Silverstrike nodded at his parasite idea. It was a little our there, yes. But come on. They were talking about creatures who were considered "Death Lords". They were already out there. But the idea of a Hollow perhaps taking control of Toshiro's mind, little by little, was possible. Especially if the captain hadn't realized what was happening until it was to late. "Would you mind keeping me updated if anything important comes into play?" Silverstrike inquired of her friend. It was obvious this situation was stretching Ichigo, but to the wolf it was like a wonderfully twisted puzzle. That was another reason she didn't tend once close to people. If something came up involving them, it was easier to figure out without personal emotions getting in the way.
    Dark green eyes? Odd. "Then again, I'm not even sure we can rely on eye color now. Some of his personas have gotten the ability to change their eye color to whatever they want." So, it could have been Deyinara, it could have been a new persona, or maybe Dimitri finally actually went insane. All possibilities.

He wanted Toshiro to get better, but what would the other Shinigami think if Ichigo didn't give the guy punishment for his crimes? Three shinigami dead, and other clanners injured in the real world. If Central 46 wanted to, they could have the snow leopard executed on the spot if they were impatient with the testing results and found no other way. The old bastards. No. He wouldn't let that happen. He knew if Central 46 made a decision, even the Captain-Commander couldn't speak out against it. But back onto the top of Dimitri, the Shinigami shook his head violently. "It doesn't matter, he already injured her once, even if it was just a little bit. He hallucinates that bakayaro!" The cougar snarled in japanese and he got up onto his paws and began to pace angrily back and forth. "And not to mention I can't keep watch over Pocket all the time! And the alter only came out to try to attack Pocket after the guy had killed the loner." It was obvious evidence for the guy to be exiled from the clan. Unless Ichigo got to him first.[/fancypost]
