    The Hollow roared in pain as its side was getting slashed up by the Captain-Commanders zanpakuto. It was then that its focus changed. It was obvious that the Adjucha knew that Silverstrike was still knew and fairly weak compared to Ichigo, and the polar bear lunged at Silverstrike, aiming to wrap his paws around her neck. If that worked he would hold her up like a trophy and attempt to make a deal with Ichigo to sacrifice his own life for the sake of hers.

    Caught off guard, as she had been assuming the bear was focused on Ichigo, Silverstrike barely had time to raise her zanpakuto in defense before the creature was upon her. Suddenly the katana was knocked from her grasp by the Hollow's massive paw, and before she knew it the foul entity had her throat in it's grasp, holding the wolf off the ground like one would fresh kill. Feeling her airway beginning to be crushed, the Aristocrat did the only thing she could do in this position. Gathering her mind, the wolf aimed to send a massively powerful telepathic blast on the Hollow, not knowing if it would do anything.

    "Silverstrike!" Ichigo yowled and took a step forward, but one of paws of the polar bear Hollow shot up telling him to stop moving. Thanks to that it was a spiritual being, its mask blocked the telepathic attack. A smirk was spread across its jaws as it threatened to crush Silverstrike under his weight. "Well isn't this interesting huh Captain-Commander?" The hollow said with a sadistic chuckle escaping its jaws. "I will make you a deal. You commit suicide, and I will let the female life. Don't, and I will devour her soul. I hear Shinigami souls are especially delicious." The polar bear said as he lowered his jaws just inches away from the wolf's face. Ichigo was at a stand still. What could he do. It was then that the mask was on his shoulder. "Fine have it your way." The over sized cougar snarled as he reached backward, as if he was going to throw the katana into the air and have it stab his skull. But when his head turned around, his Hollow mask was on his face. Moving with amazing speed, Ichigo lunged forward and swung Zangetsu. A distinct sound could be heard, and that was the sound of something hitting the ground, the Adjucha's head to be exactly. As soon as Ichigo landed on his paws, his yellow eyes watched as the Hollow dissolved. Good riddance. Figuring out that there was no more danger, the mask fell off his face, and he used his paw to readjust it on his shoulder. Quickly padding over toward Silverstrike, his now brown optics widened in shock. "Silverstrike are you okay?" Ichigo mewed with obvious concern in his tone.

    She had watched the exchange through vision that was going increasingly dim as the bear's paw squeezed tighter down on her throat. The feeling had begun to leave the canine's limbs and her hearing became muffled, so it barely registered when the bear dropped her and dissolved. Silverstrike collapsed onto the ground and began coughing as air flooded into her deprived lungs once more. She lay there coughing for a fee heartbeats, waiting for her muscles to start working again. As they did, the coughing stopped, but her throat still felt like someone had rubbed sandpaper on it. Looking up at Ichigo weakly, the wolf raised her head a nodded ever so slightly. "I'll be fine," she coughed again. "Just give me a few moments."

    A sigh of relief exited the over sized felines jaws. "Thank goodness." Ichigo mewed before sitting down and leaning back on his haunches. One little thing seemed obvious though, Ichigo wasn't exhausted from using the mask for the first time. His brown optics blinked at the silver wolf for a second before looking up at the sky. His eyes narrowed as he looked for any Garganta that could be opening up. At this point Ichigo wanted to be done for the day, especially with Silverstrike in her condition.

    She struggled into a sitting position and looked through the trees as they spread out, eventually disappearing into darkness. "I had been hoping me almost dying every time I saw you would change when I became a Shinigami, Ichigo." Silverstrike sighed and leaned back against a tree, closing her eyes. "I guess I've still got a lot more training to go through."

He didn't want her to feel sad for the fact that she had gotten caught.

"Hey, you never know, maybe one day I'll finally be able to repay you for saving my life so many times." she woofed quietly, voice beginning to recover. Silverstrike hoped this to be true.     He definitely believed that Silverstrike would be saving his tail a lot. Considering that he just liked to jump into battle and didn't think about what the enemy was capable of. So at that part he nodded his head in response to that. Then at the second part, his facial expressions turned serious. "It would have absorbed your soul and it would have become more powerful. You would have been dead at that point, and even with multiple possessions your soul wouldn't be able to escape. You would have became part of it." The swordsman mewed.

    A shudder went through her form at the knowledge she would have become a part of the Hollow. "Would I have become one?"     Ichigo rolled his shoulders and flinched at the pain that ignited the nerves in his muscle and tendons. It would definitely leave a bruise, but luckily his collar bone hadn't been fractured from hitting the tree. His brown optics tracked the wolf as he thought for a moment, before shrugging his shoulders. "Not sure. We can train some sword fighting some more, or we can take a break." The swordsman mewed calmly as he honestly could go on training for another couple hours. But he knew that being a new Shinigami wasn't easy, as it held a lot of challenges. "That, you can strengthen the bond between you and your zanpakuto and try to get stronger spiritually, which will be turned physically." It was indeed confusing words, but they were extremely useful. Now that he thought about it, he hadn't talked to Zangetsu in a while, even though his zanpakuto wasn't much a talker.

The large feline mewed as he blinked his brown optics at the sword and thought for a second. Maybe Silverstrike had to concentrate more on it? Or was it that Silverstrikes zanpakuto didn't want to speak with her. "Try concentrating harder. Feel as if your about to possess another body, but instead its a sword." Ichigo tried to explain, but of course there was worry spread across his face. He hadn't had a situation like this before.

    His look of worry made her worry as well, but all the same she took his advice. Placin a paw upon it once more, Silverstrike went through the same mental motion as though she were about to posses another body. Then suddenly, the grass softened beneath her paws and foreign birds on echoed through her ears.


    [i]Silverstrike opened her amber eyes, and they immediately grew wide with shock. Instead of a forest, this time they were in a beautiful jungle. Colorful birds swooped between the trees, calling to each other. Oddly shaped fruits grew on trees with leaves as wide as her head. Hearing a swishing, the wolf turned to see a beautiful silver tigress making her way through the ferns. "Greetings, Silver. I've been waiting for the chance to speak with you again." As before, the feline's voice was musical, bearing resemblence to a quiet stream. Approaching Ala, Silverstrike spoke.
    "About what?"
    "Well, firstly I wanted to know why I can sense another like myself. He seems stronger, and holds an outline of darkness about him." The tigress's golden eyes seemed to melt into the Aristocrat's form, full of questions and knowledge.
    "That's Tensa. He's Ichigo's soul-piece....thingy." The fact was, the wolf wasn't really sure what to call the shard of soul within each Shinigami's weapon.
    "Ichigo. He is the one you speak so often with, yes?"
    Silverstrike nodded, and the jungle began to fade. "It's time for you to return to them now. We will see each other again soon!"


    With that the wolf blinked open her eyes, seeing her best friend's face once more. "I spoke with Ala."

    [Relationships with other Zanpakuto? Never seen that before as zanpakuto can't communicate with each other unless they clash (in which they show their pasts), and unless they materialize due to some power. She can definitely have a strong relationship with her own]

It took a couple minutes before Silverstrike returned to her body, and she spoke her zanpakuto's name. Ala. Definitely an interesting name. "And how did it go?" Ichigo asked with a tilt of his head in a questioning manner.
