The golden eagles feathers definitely looked like that of orange, as that seemed to be the theme with his others body, a red tabby, a tan horse that looked orange, tawny fur that looked orange, and now a golden eagle that looked orange. He had no idea why that was, but honestly didn't care as he didn't mind the color orange. Now what he did mind, was being called the fruit, Orange, as some of his friends had decided to come up with a nickname for him. Ichigo rolled his eyes back and returned the gaze. His brown eyes then angled themselves so he could see their destination. But a simple flying schedule didn't seem to want to happen. Suddenly, a black tear opened a little ahead of them, and it was then that the dimensional portal opened, and two Hollow eagles came out of it, and headed straight for them. "I told you! But no you don't listen to me! What the hell are we supposed to do?" The eagle screeched as he flexed his talons. Did he know how to fight in the air? Of course not, and he hadn't trained for it. Mental attacks didn't work against Hollows so it didn't really help them with that fact either.[/fancypost]

Of all places they [i]had to be attacked in the air! Not to mention Ichigo could barely fly let alone fight! "We dive!" she screeched, motioning towards a tree with thick leaves that would provide cover. "You go first! If they catch up, I've got a better chance holding them off than you do!" The golden eagle cursed in Japanese as he watched as they were still above the trees. Cursing again, the Shinigami folded his wings, and began to plumit toward the thick canopies of the trees. Ichigo was fairly lucky though that he had pretty good reaction time, and was able to avoid most of the branches. The Hollow eagle that had been following him though, did not, and got stuck in the tree, flapping wildly, but it was stuck, and wouldn't be able to escape. Ichigo would remember this place later and dispatch of them properly. But of course that thought had distracted the male, and it wasn't a second later that his dive was interupted by a tree branch, in which the bird of prey had slammed into it. But luckily he didn't break any bones in the process, but he still fell heavily into the pile of leaves on the ground. A groan escaped his jaws, and he hoped that Silver had been able to make it down as well.[/fancypost]

Turning to hit the other Hollow with a heavy wing slap, the snowy took the opportunity it left to dive after Ichigo, slipping through the branches of a nearby tree. With any luck, this set of Hollows wouldn't be terribly intelligent. Gliding silently over to where Ichigo had landed, she kicked more leaves over the eagle. [i]Stay silent. If we're lucky, we've lost them. To emphasize her point, Silverstrike went invisible, while watching the shivering tree branches above them for any sign of the Hollows. I can outfly them any day. They both seemed to be trapped in the branches, but if they got free, that didn't mean that they wouldn't stop tracking them. The golden eagle struggled to take off, still not exactly great at landing and flying. Why the hell did it have to be so hard. A tsk sound escaped the birds beak as he flew after Silverstrike. Every few seconds was a close call to this male, due to the fact that he almost ran into every tree he came into contact with. His brown eyes flickered behind him, but the Hollows were still in the trees, giving off their famous roar trying to get out.[/fancypost]

She churred angrily as a Hollow took a go at Ichigo. Flying overhead the owl swooped down and snatched at the foul creature, landing a harsh blow to the top of it's head. She was large for a snowy owl, but these avians were larger still, being creatures of darkness. [i]Faster Ichigo! she screeched, seeing the entrance ahead. Once they were inside, the two of them could fend off the Hollows together. Is there anyway to kill them without our zanpakuto's?

[i]Good thing we can both shapeshift! she replied, bringing her wings in to dive between two narrow rocks, the entrance to their destination. Dive here Ichigo! After you're in, shapeshift. There's a boulder we can roll to block the entrance. Following her own directions, Silverstrike slipped between the two slabs of stone, instantly shifting into her wolf form as soon as her talons hit ground. Seeing as the said boulder was a few tail lengths from the entrance, she began pushing, waiting for Ichigo to get inside.

The golden eagle folded in his wings and dived toward the narrow entrance He turned his body sideways, making sure he would fit, but as soon as he entered through the opening, the bird of prey pretty much crashed into the ground. Groaning, the bird up onto his feet, and let his bones began to break as he shifted. He was getting better at it, but still took a couple seconds for him to fully shift. It was then that he turned into one of his larger bodies, a horse, which had a lot of muscle in its neck and had enough strength to move a rock. The light bay horse trotted over toward Silverstrike, and then pressing the side of his neck against it, he began pushing the boulder toward the opening of where they came from.
