    Could things get any worse? Considering that there were so few Shinigami meant that there were more chances for people to die from the action of the Hollow's. A couple of his clanmates had hands on experience with them, but those had been probably the easiest Hollow's to kill. There were 4 different types of Hollow's, each one usually worse than the last and some had enormous power. What most didn't know, was the fact at Ichigo was a Shinigami. A Shinigami's job was to protect those who were still living and the souls that had past on and keep that balance between Hollow homeworld and the Soul Society home world. Ichigo had been considered powerful enough to run all the Shinigami's, but so far there was only two other members, Fireflyspark, and Toshiro. Each of them was stationed in a clan to keep their clan safe, and each was a captain of a division, or squad. Ichigo was the captain of the 1st Division, Fireflyspark was the Captain of the 11th Division, and Toshiro was the Captain of the 10th Division. Each were extremely power and both had a similiar like weapon like Ichigo's a katana, but theres would look different from his. Blinking his brown eyes, he looked upward, as he was standing on the shore of Hawkclan territory. It was indeed a tough job, especially when you keep on trying to hold it secret and not let anyone now. He narrowed his eyes at the clouded sky, as it almost looked like it was about to rain. Something wasn't right.

    Little did few creatures know, but Silverstrike had always been a swimmer and thus enjoyed every moment on the beach. At this very moment she was laying in the sand, watching the waves gently roll onto the beach. Out of no where, the outline of a large shadowy figure appeared before the wolf. Now for some, this wouldn't have been anything out of the ordinary. But the Aristocrat didn't have the Sight and thus launched to her paws, fur spiking up. While the outline itself didn't frighten her, it was the coldness that flowed from the creature that did. " Who are you?" she growled. This was some spirit. And nothing more.

    The Hollow smirk as it was obvious the creature was having a hard time tracking him. This Hollow took the shape of a large snow leopard, even though you couldn't really see its spots due to its black flesh. Its yellow eyes had no pupils and stared at the creature, and wondered how tasty its soul would be. "Its sad that you won't be able to see my clearly huh darling? Now stay where you are and don't struggle, while I consume you!" It was then that the large snow leopard Hollow lunged forward, aiming to knock Silverstrike down into the sand.


    Almost instantly, a gasping sound could be heard coming from the Shinigami. He watched, as a black portal opened up, and out spilled a Hollow. Just by the look of it, it was a Adjucha, which wasn't good at all. That meant it was pretty powerful and would be able to speak. Cursing, Ichigo craned his neck and pulled out his katana, and began sprinting toward that direction. Of course, the Shinigami wouldn't be there for another couple minutes.

    "You picked the wrong girl if you think I'm just going to stand there!" Silverstrike barked, eyes narrowed in concentration as she attempted to track the faint shadow. Seeing it leap, the wolf dive under it, whipping around to face the creature once more. " Perhaps I should rephrase my question. [i]Whatare you?"

    "Why does it matter? You are going to die anyway!" The Hollowfied snow leopard couldn't help but let out a chuckle escape his jaws, and it filled with nothing but lust to kill. It was then the powerful being launched himself at the canine, hoping to scrap his claws down her side. And if that worked, he would drive his paws into the side, spin around, and kick his legs upward, aiming to kick the side he just claws. If that worked, the Hollow would launch himself at the canine, aiming to sink his jaws into her shoulder. If he got ahold of her, her soul would be ripped out.

    It was then she saw Ichigo sprinting towards her, presumably to help. I was in this millisecond of distraction that the wolf failed to see the shadow come lunging at her. Silverstrike snarled as claws sunk into flesh, ripping wounds that began to bleed instantly. When his hind paws came into contact with her side, the Aristocrat's vision blacked out from the pain momentarily and she was knocked into the ground. Thankfully, the canine saw the shadow before his paws connected the second time, rolling out of the way and onto her paws.

    "Silverstrike!" Ichigo yowled as he leaped into the air and unsheathed his katana in mid air. Landing in between the Adjucha and the Hollow, a snarl formed across the lips of the feline as he gripped the black and red hilt. This wasn't good. Considering that Silverstrike was injured didn't help, and he couldn't help but glance backward toward the canine.


    "Well well well. I should be honored. Shinigami. Captain Commander Ichigo Kurosaki!" The snow leopard Hollow hissed angrily, but thanks to a Hollow personality, he wasn't going to back down from any fight. The tainted being lunged forward, paws outstretched.


    "Shut up!" Ichigo snarled at the Adjucha. That was the last thing he needed said considering that Silverstrike could probably hear the Hollow. Seeing the snow leopard Hollow lunge forward, Ichigo easily met that and rushed forward, Katana in the air. But when he striked the Hollow's paws/arm, his blade didn't go through it. A tsk sound could be heard as he realized that the flesh covering the snow leopards arm were a lot tougher than the rest of its body. Great. Pushing himself away from the Hollow, a growl escaped his jaws. He need to end this quickly. Using one of his paws, he grabbed the Hollow mask on his left shoulder. It wasn't complete yet, but it would have to do. As soon as he put on the mask, everything changed. Ichigo darted to the side of the snow leopard, so quickly, that even the Hollow couldn't react. During the lunge he had kept his sword low, and once he was right next to the evil spirit, he swung upwards. Blood sprayed onto the sand as Ichigo spun away.

    It was rather safe to say Silverstrike was mildly dazed from the events of the last few minutes. All she knew was that a shadow radiating evil had appeared and shortly after so had Ichigo. There had been blood, and then the feeling of evil had begun to fade.
    Leaving a trail of scarlet droplets, Silverstrike padded up to the cougar. "Ichigo? What was that. And why was it speaking of Shinigami?"

    Ichigo watched as the Adjucha had dissolved due to the deep cut Ichigo had done to its side. After a couple more seconds, his Hollow mask fell off of his face and began panting. His brown eyes instantly darted toward his best friend, and at her question his eyes widened. "Oh well that was nothing. He probably had me confused with someone else." A nervous chuckle escaped his jaws as a nervous grin followed it. He couldn't tell her. No. It was against the rules. He would have to tell the others if she figured out what they actually were. Swinging his katana, he let blood splatter onto the sand before sheathing his zanpakuto again.


    Above though, there was a Hollowfied golden eagle. Without saying a word, it went into a dive, and headed straight toward Silverstrike completely ignoring the Shinigami.


    Also, another portal was about to open up, and rain hell onto them.

    "It didn't look confused to-" Suddenly talons sunk into her shoulders and, naturally, her first reaction was to jerk away. Looking up, Silverstrike expected to see a large bird of some sort. What she hadn't expected was the faintest outline of a shadow, the coldness radiating from this one as well. Now in quite a bit of pain as the eagle was still holding on, the wolf howled to her friend. "Ichigo! Kill it!"
