She started to him quietly as she slowly started to nod off to sleep. She jolted awake after a bit as she started to cough and looked at him. "We can't keep going like this." She said clenching her fist slightly as she sighed a bit and started to fall alseep.

He groaned softly, rubbing his arm slightly. "No, we can't."
-
She sniffed as she slowly fell asleep and started to sleep soundly. She breathed softly as she started to fall into a dreamless sleep.
-
He rubbed his eyes tiredly, he wasn't able to fall asleep. He pulled himself onto a tree branch, looking up at the stars.
-
She woke up with the sunrise and looked up at him a guilty look on her face. She had slept the whole night and he had to stay awake. She stood up and walked over towards him. "Are you alright? Sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep." She apologized as she sat next to him.
-
He shook his head slightly, "Don't worry about it, I couldn't sleep anyways." He replied, scratching his jaw again.
-
"Still thinking about what happened yesterday?" She asked tilting her head bit. She wondered how he had snapped so easily and then gone back to normal so easily. She crossed her arms as she and yawned a bit. She was still very drowsy.
-
"I can't get it off my mind, truth be told. I don't know why I have that problem." He replied, pulling a knee up to his chest. He sighed softly, shaking his head slightly.
-
"It's probably a side affect of the powers. Or one you didn't know your family possessed." She said shrugging slightly. She herself coul read people's most inner thoughts and emotions and had only figured it out a short time ago. She looked at him sighing slightly. "All we can do is keep our distance from those guys and keep you at least calm." She said looking up at the sky.
-
He nodded slightly, looking over at her. "Yeah, guess you're right, because I'm not in control of myself when I do those things. I can't even remember what happens when the anger fades." He said, running a hand lightly through his hair.
-
She nodded shrugging as she looked back at the sky. "We could never have a normal life all we can do is try and keep away from them." She mumbled resting her her head on her knees. "I keep thinking about why those other people with powers would have left like they did."
-
"Hey, at least we got away." He said, rubbing his hand through his hair to get it to lay flat.
-
"That doesn't exactly help." She sighed as she looked at him messing with his hair. She rolled her eyes and slipped down from the branch. She yawned as she picked up some canned fruit. She sighed and climbed back up. "Want to share?" She offered.
-
"If you're offering, I wouldn't mind." He said, looking over at her. He stifled a yawn, for the first time he seemed tired.
-
She quickly sliced open up the top of the can and held it out to him cleaning off the knife. She sighed as she cleaned her knife with the back of her shirt. She looked at him yawning again. "Sorry again I really should have stayed awake."
-
He shook his head, waving her off slightly. "It's fine, really, don't worry about it. I don't need that much sleep."
-
She raised an eyebrow as she looked at his crippled wings. "I would disagree." She said picking out a slice of the fruit. She handed the fruit to him as she looked around. She sighed a bit as she narrowed her eyes looking at the shadows just to see if someone was hiding in the shadows.
-
He sighed, and rolled his eyes, "Really, I'll be fine. They'll take a few weeks whether or not I sleep." He said before pulling out a piece of fruit.
-
"Alright don't complain when your tired." She said jokingly a smile appearing on her face as she swung her legs ideally. She didn't smile much not for a while. She looked at his wings tilting his head. "I'm wondering how a guard could break your wings like twigs." She said wondering out loud.
-
"The bones in my wings are hollow, like a bird's. They're usually more resistant, but I guess feeble nourishment weakened them." He replied, frowning slightly, then he shook his head. "I don't want to dwell on it, I just want them to be healed and done."
