  • Eli giggled and put her arms around Blue's neck, softly humming the lyrics. She looked up at him curiously. "Why are you sticking around, Blue?" She asked, actually saying his name for the first time.

  • "Because I don't have anything better to do. No parties or anything interesting. Plus there's this girl that I'm interested in whose here pretty often. In fact, she's here right now," he said, smirking.

  • "Who is it?" Eli asked softly, though she was jealous. Here she was starting to like Blue, and he likes someone else! She bit her lip and looked back up at Blue, furrowing her eyebrows and looking at him curiously.

  • "It just may be the person I'm standing in front of. Hopefully she likes me back, but I don't know. I was just gonna go out on a limb here and say that," he said, his cheeks glowing red now.

  • Eli smiles faintly before reaching up and connecting their lips. She was usually blunt and straightforward, and right now was no different. One hand moved to his hair while the other stayed on his neck.

  • Blue backed away, a little surprised. "What was that?" he asked, looking down at her with a sexy gkeam in his eye. "I thought you didn't like me."

  • Eli rolled her bright green eyes, looking up at Blue again. "Would I kiss you if I didn't like you?" She asked, though she didn't expect an answer. A fast beat song came on, and Eli glanced at her bar. "Shit, I need to get back," She said, breaking contact with Blue. Her area was now full again, and her co-worker was struggling.

  • Blue sighed an followed her. "I could help if it would make your job easier," he said, standing in front of where she was working. "Oh, and I'm about to have to leave."

  • "Why would you have to leave?" Eli asked, ignoring his earlier comment and sliding a cocktail over to a lady wearing a red dress. She quickly filled a large glass of Milker Light over to a burly man and glanced back at blue, not wanting him to leave. She but her lip and quickly made a margarita, leaving off the salt.

  • "I don't really know. I'm don't really stay around after midnight, but I can make an exception this one time, he said, looking at her and waiting for a response.

  • Eli nodded, faintly smiling. She hands off the drinks and sighs, resting her hip on the bar, looking back over at Blue. "I end at 12:15." She says, taking her red hair out of the pony tail then running a hand through it. "Is that okay, pretty boy?" Eli smirked.

  • "Perfectly fine. And for the last time, will you stop calling me that? It drives me crazy," he said, leaning against the bar to where his lips were almost touching hers. "I'll be waiting."

  • Eli's green eyes got wide, but she quickly masked her shock. Taking a deep breath she nodded and turned away, wiping down the other side of the bar. She glanced at her phone she saw the time was 12:00, and she could only wish the next 15 minutes would go by fast.

  • Blue leaned against the wall by one of the tables he usually sat at. He watched the clock, willing it to go faster so he could leave. He pulled out his phone and got on Snapchat. "Nothing new." he muttered, putting his phone back in his pocket.

  • When the clock struck 12:15, Eli wiped off the bar one last time and headed over to Blue. She smiled up at him and grabbed his hand. "C'mon then," she said, heading off towards the club back door.

  • "Yes ma'am. So, what exactly are the plans after this?" he asked, still surprised at her suddenness. "You do know I have a big fancy truck." He took the keys out of his pocket and slipped them in her hand.

  • Eli looked down at the keys, then grinned up at Blue. "Did you just give me permission to drive your truck?" She asked, but then realized she could because he had alcohol. She twirled the keys around and avoided his earlier question.

  • "Yeah, I'm not risking having a wreck in my truck. Fixing the lift on it would cost me a fortune. Plus, I would much rather sit in the passenger seat and watch you. Or, you could sot in my lap and drove," he said.

  • "As much as I'd love to sit on your lap, I'm already going to be doing that and if we get pulled over it'd be difficult to explain." Eli says brushing her red hair away from her face. She looks back at Blue and grabs his hand, gently moving him with her out of the club to outside. She shivers at the chilly air but ignores it and clicks the truck key, smiling widely as the large beat reveals himself. "You're amazing," She blurts out, making her gve go a light pink. "For owning such a truck, obviously." She giggles nervously.
