She opened her mouth to say something but then paused, a look of understanding flashing in her eyes. The young woman leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees. "You really don't know about me, do you?" She pondered. "The fairies said they wouldn't say any thing but you... I expected you to have figured it out by now."

The younger brunette shook her head in something akin to irritation, leaning back in her chair again before standing. "I should go." She decided, grabbing her bag and hurriedly packing up what little she had brought with her. She had no idea how Regina would react to being in the same room as Rumplestiltskin's daughter. "It's late and I need to get dinner anyway, I can work on the potion from home and I'm sure you're tired and Emma probably wants to know you and the baby is alright." Babbling, a sure sign that she was worried, and proof that she was running from telling Regina something. "I'll just go." With that she pulled on her jacket and took a step towards the exit of the tomb.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]IC: Regina's eyes widened at the sudden hurry Diana was in to leave. "Wait a second." She said standing up as quickly as her baby bump would allow for. "Diana just wait!" She gasped and tried to step over the pile of books and scrolls without falling. She had just finally gotten her sister to sit down with her and even if Diana didn't remember who she was she still had some form of hope in her heart that she would remember how good it felt to open up to her. She could make progress towards getting Diana to remember everything if only the young woman would slow down for half a second. "Emma can wait she knows where I am if she is really worried. But please tell me what all of this is about?" She stated as she managed to step over the piles of scattered papers.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]Diana continued towards the exit, fastening the buttons of her jacket as she sped down the hallway. She was about to start up the steps when she cast a glance back at the mayor, seeing her try to maneuver around the books and papers strung about. Instantly a pang of worry fluttered through her as she watched the heavily pregnant woman. "Be careful!" She nearly scolded, sounding if nly for a moment, much more like herself as she rushed to help Regina keep balance, momentarily forgetting about her urge to leave. She grabbed a gentle hold of the woman's arm with one hand and took Regina's hand in her own to help guide her over the precariously stacked piles without falling. "It doesn't matter, just- There's nothing to worry about, we have bigger problems at the moment."

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]IC: Regina's eyes widened in surprise at the change in Diana's voice when the young woman returned to help her. For an instant she sounded so much like she had before everything went to hell and Diana forgot all about her and everything that had happened between them.

Once she had her balance the ebony haired woman looked up at her sister and nodded her head. "Thank you." She sighed, a painful stab entering her heart as she looked into her sisters eyes and remembered how much of a stranger she had become to the younger woman. Resting one hand on her swollen stomach the queen looked at the girl beside her and frowned slightly. Nothing is bigger than whatever it upsetting you. She thought and wished she could tell Diana those exact words.

Reluctantly the queen nodded but gave the girl a look that assured the discussion wasn't over. "Emma had an idea earlier about how to possibly draw out whoever did this to us." Regina stated.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]Diana waited with baited breath for the mayor's words. She had her chance to make an escape and for some reason the sight of the round bellied woman struggling had pulled her back to Regina's side. Finally she opened her mouth, speaking at the same time as her unknowing sister. "Are you sure you're alright?" She surprised herself but not at the same time, the words coming unbidden as she locked eyes with the older woman.

Clearing her throat at the news in an attempt at trying to gather her wits, Diana dropped her sister's hand but for some reason kept her palm resting against the woman's elbow. Instinct, or perhaps worry shining through the spell placed on her, making her long the touch without realizing. "She did? What do you need me to do?" She asked, one question after another. "I want to help, Zelena may as well." Almost as soon as the words left her mouth the woman winced and shook her head, correcting herself. "No, scratch that, she'll be mad- I'm supposed to be working on something with her. She'll think I'm 'distracted'." The enchantress rolled her eyes, mildly offended at the thought. "As if I wouldn't be able to do both."
  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border-radius: 50px; borderwidth=0px; text-shadow: 2px 2px 5px #8bd6d2; text-align: left]Regina[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]IC: A stab of pain buried itself deep in Regina's heart at Diana's mention of the red headed woman who had somehow take her place as the sister roll in Diana's life. The part of her that still was the Evil Queen screamed for her to hunt down the woman and eliminate her because she clearly had something to do with this. But a more rational part of her (or perhaps the part that Snow had rubbed off on) wanted to believe that the woman was just an innocent bystander in the curse and whoever cast them all back to Storybrooke had selected her at random to take Regina's place in order to hurt the queen. But still the idea of letting the woman help was out of the question. "I would prefer to keep this between you, Emma, and myself. The more people who know the more risk there is of whoever did this to us finding out." She replied and looked down.

It was as her eyes glanced downwards that she realized Diana's hand was still hovering close to her. She could feel a warmth spread within her at the sight. It gave her the slightest bit of hope that her sister was still in there somewhere fighting the curse and trying to reach her once more.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]Diana sighed but nodded her acceptance. "We can trust her, but if it makes you feel better I won't say anything." She conceded. Running a hand through her hair, the brunette realized something wrong with that plan. "But we are going to need an excuse, I mean I'm not supposed to be seeing you all that often..." You could see the moment she came up with something, her eyes flashing and lips parting but not continuing to talk.

"Hire me." She finally muttered, looking up at Regina with wide, excited brown eyes. "Or at least say you did, I can come to the Mayor's office in the morning to pick up what you need for work and bring it over to your place. People will think I'm working with you- and I can since I don't have a job anymore and you'll be doing this- but we can also work with Emma on figuring out who did this. Zelena will never know, and no one else will have a reason to think we're doing anything other then office stuff."
  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border-radius: 50px; borderwidth=0px; text-shadow: 2px 2px 5px #8bd6d2; text-align: left]Regina[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]IC: Regina's red painted lips wanted to spread into a smile brighter than the sun at the thought of hiring her sister as her assistant but she kept her expression neutral though she allowed an eyebrow to rise as if pondering the idea. She looked at Diana for a few silent seconds as if to give the appearance of considering and thinking through the young woman's suggestion. She knew that if she said yes too quickly Diana might find it suspicious so she took her time to make the girl believe she was thinking about it and examining her.

After several long seconds the ebony haired mayor gave a small nod of her head and gave the girl a serious look. "Alright, I think it might work but I have to warn you that working with the mayor might not be all too glamorous. Even if it is just as a cover you will be assigned work that I expect to be done on time and legibly." She informed Diana. "Unlike some peoples..." She murmured for her own amusement as she thought for a heartbeat about her dopy blonde sheriff. She then looked at Diana again and sighed, "I'm not trying to scare you away from the idea, it's just with my current situation..." She trailed off looking down at her pregnant belly. "I was thinking of hiring an assistant anyway and even if this is all apart of a cover I would hope you would take this opportunity seriously." She reinforced a tone mixed between big sister and uptight mayor slipping into her voice.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]Diana waited anxiously for Regina's answer, all but crossing her fingers that this would work. She breathed a death of relief when the dark haired mayor spoke. A smile slipped onto her face and she raised a challenging eyebrow, after all when did something so trivial ever stop a Mills woman? "Did you really think Ella got her own work done, Madam Mayor? I can handle some paperwork."

Her hand on Regina's arm shifted towards her pregnant belly as she continued. "Especially if it helps my favorite little-" her fingers brushed the baby bump and a splash of purple must entered her eyes, her smile shifting into a frown, but a confused frown not a pained one. "... Niece?" She finished, blinking in confusion with her magic filled eyes before shaking her head and taking a step back. As her hands drifted away her naturally brown eyes returned. "Wow, I'm, I don't know what just..." She rubbed at her temple as if a headache was returning.

OOC: True love- Aunt and Niece? After all Diana loves the kid without being related to her and Alex will love Diana, so it works while her romantic' true love wouldn't- but b/c no true loves kiss it's temporary for as long as they are together.
  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border-radius: 50px; borderwidth=0px; text-shadow: 2px 2px 5px #8bd6d2; text-align: left]Regina[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]IC: Regina's eyes widened when Diana spoke of her baby as her niece. She saw her sisters eyes turn purple as her hand ghosted over the mayors pregnant belly and instantly without thinking she reached forward and took ahold of Diana's hand as if to keep it in place. "Diana?" She uttered a hint of hope in her voice, the usual regal mayor voice replaced with that of pure innocence and hope. Her whiskey brown eyes scanned her sisters face for any sign that her memories had returned. When Diana rubbed her temples Regina reached forwards and placed her hand on the girls shoulder. "Diana are you alright?" She asked with a bit more concern in her tone this time.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]As Regina pulled her sister's hand back to her belly the purple mist returned in her eyes. Her frown lessened and her hand slowed at rubbing her forehead as the headache disappeared. "Yeah, I'm fine, just a bit of a headache all of a sudden." She replied softly before looking back up at Regina. For a moment there was nothing out of the ordinary about her stare but after a moment it became piercing, a familiar curiosity lighting up in her face. "Wait a minute..." She whispered as things started to come together.

She stared up at Regina for a few seconds, trying to place the sudden familiarity before her eyes were drawn to the hand that Regina held near her pregnant belly and back up. Slowly she shifted so was resting the entirety of her palm against the bump rather then the soft graze of her fingers. As she did, her eyes became more and more purple with magic until recognition shone in them as well. "...Regina!" She breathed, bringing her hand to her mouth in shock. "Oh no... What the hell happened to me?" She asked, moving to hug her before stopping and frowning as her gaze was turned back to the baby bump. "Oh, the baby." She admitted, realizing what was going on. "True love, the baby, she must be doing it- fixing it I mean, that makes sense right? Explains the headache, it's the spell coming back without a kiss to solidify the magic. Does that make sense? I feel like that's what it must be, that's what it feels like, but then again I've only been under a memory spell once and this feels a little different." She rambled, her mind moving quickly once again as she regained her own mind once more.
  • OOC: Where are we going with this? Does Diana have her memories back for good or is this one of those things where when she is no longer near the baby she forgets again? That would give Zelena a good reason to go after Regina and try to kill her in order to stop the baby from ruining her curse and also to get back at Regina for being born. What do you think? Are we still doing the thing with Regina being killed by Diana at all? Because then they could go into the Underworld to get her back and it would be an awesome time for me to play HADES!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OOC: She needs to be around the baby to remember b/c it's like a half assed version of true love (b/c she can't kiss the baby) because even cursed Diana loves the baby (and just because of Alex's awesomeness). I'm not a massive fan of the underworld plot but if you want to do it I'm ok with that. Perhaps we timeskip soonish (once they get this moment settled) to having the baby and Emma has Snow go get Diana after Alex is born and Diana gets her memories back. Then Zelena can pop in and tip them off somehow and when she goes after Diana or the baby something happens and her spell or one Diana throws at Zelena ends up killing Regina.

  • OOC: Sounds good to me! I just really want to play a sassy Hades...sassy Hades having a sass off with sassy Regina...Underworld doesn't have to take long...sorry. What if Hades was just like, "You guys take her! I'm done with her sass! Get her out of here! Sheesh! Now I know why she was called the Evil Queen!"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border-radius: 50px; borderwidth=0px; text-shadow: 2px 2px 5px #8bd6d2; text-align: left]Regina[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; overflow: auto; padding: 5px; height: 273px; width: 230px]IC: "Diana!" Regina gasped her whiskey brown eyes growing wet with tears as she watched her sister breaking through the spell. "You remember?" She asked hopefully, her heart not fully believing that something so wonderful could happen. Part of her knew that such a thing could only be temporary if it were coming from Diana's connection to her daughter.

She listened to Diana ramble on about the baby and her memories and how this was different from the Evil Queen's curse. "How much you remember must be determined by how close you are to Alexandra." She added to the information her sister was already spewing. "Meaning...as soon as you are far enough away from her you'll forget all over again." The queen spoke with a saddened tone and looked at her sister longingly.
