    I nodded. "Yeah. I'm ready to go back to the bed." I giggled. "Don't drown the wall, it did nothing to you." I got out the tub, towel dried, and went out the room where I pulled on a pair of his new boxers, and a shirt then I sat on the bed. Tiredly, I removed the wet bandages, put on fresh and clean ones, then curled on the bed, waiting for him to get in.

    I drained the water and stood up, wrapping the towel around my waist. I walked into our room and ran my hands through my hair, even though it wasn't wet. I took a deep breath and pulled a pair of boxers on before walking to the amazing bed.

    I looked over my shoulder and sighed as I sat down beside Ryder, stretching my legs out in front of me, "We- as humans- never fall out of love. We find a love that's stronger or we simply neglect the love, but it's always there. I Will always love Tyler, I will always love Toby-" my voice broke slightly at Toby's name, "-you Will always love Maya, you Will always love Mitch, but we will always love each other, too. It's just a matter of figuring out who we love more." My finger touched my diamonds lightly and I pulled them off my neck. Everyone knew about these diamonds. Everyone. I cast them put in front of me and sigh shakily, "I love you more than Toby. And I'm showing that to you." I looked at the rocks as they glinted in the light. I pulled the earrings out and threw them, too. They landed beside the necklace. I closed my eyes and resisted te urge to go get them. This was huge for me. I'd held into those for years and always took amazing care of them. They were one of the only things Toby actually bought for me instead of stole.

    I think I fell asleep on the bed because I didn't even feel the dip of his weight, or the fact he had his arms around me once he was actually on the bed. All I knew was sleep was an amazing thing after not sleeping for about half a week. I mean sure I got twenty minute naps after accidently dozing off, but nothing like a two hour nap or anything. Let's just say I don't sleep because of the things sleep decides to bring to mind. My eyes flew open, but I didn't move as to not wanting to wake up Will. I took a deep, body shaking breath. There were those nights were I couldn't sleep at all, and sadly this was one of those nights. I just drowned out the screaming in my head, and gently moved from Will's grasp, grabbing my jeans, and slipping them on before leaving the room on light feet to go get my things from my room. But as always, my boots covered my feet, and a jacket hung on my shoulders.

    I took a deep breath, looking up at her through the cracks between my fingers. "Pick those up, sweetheart. I know you love me more than Toby, but those hold sentimental value to you. I still have the stuffed owl Mitch gave me when I was fourteen. My parents burned everything else when they lost it, burned all of Hope's priceless paintings, and creations. Killed the pets my siblings and I raised ourselves, and burned anything sentimental to us. Only things they didn't burn was my owl, Hope's panda, and Mark's wolf." I wiped my eyes, suddenly feeling dirty. Secretly I was a terrified of germs. A cleanaphobic if you want. "I-I need to think. And kick Mitch out my room. He ran in there and told me all this crap and now my heads pounding. B-but I need to think. I-I'll talk to you later, okay?" I looked at her with hopeful eyes. "A-and I-I love you." I smiled a weak and tired smile as I got to my feet.

    "I can not lie I do know her." I told her before thanking the woman who brought us our food, and sipped my drink. "But what am Isupposed to say? My little sister wears this sh-t? No. She hates aanything girly. Plus she'd kick my -ss for even thinking of buying her anything feminine that she doesn't need." I cared nothing for censoring my cursing at the moment since I felt the sudden urge to rant or something.     It may have been my best lie ever. I had no idea as to whether or whether not that I loved Toby or Ryder more. I doubted if I'd ever know, but Ryder was here. Didn't that make my affections stronger than those for the dead? I looked at the shining diamonds in the floor as Cookie plopped down beside me. He was just like my older brother and he was always there when I need him. "Where's Ryder?" He asked softly, but it was enough to bring out tears. He wrapped his arms around me and I fell into him.

I was humming a traditional Irish song as I did. I picked up a picture of Ryder and Hope when they were younger and just stared at it for a moment, my finger gently touching the image of Ryder's then smaller form. I jumped slightly as he came in.     My jacket fell to the floor as Iturned around. "Wait. Yes, this was a job at ffirst, but its not anymore." I paid the bill as I grabbed my jacket and ran after her. I almost lost my baby sister so many times today I can't count. I probably messed up my relationship with my older twin brother, and I can't protect my baby sister from her own inner demons." I gently took her hand in mine. "When I went to the bar I was just any other man walking in there with a heavy heart in need of a drink. I wasn't looking for anyone, I just wanted to get away from everything I've been to even if it were just be for ten minutes." I stood in front of her with a vulnerable expression on my face. "When I asked you to come to the diner with me I was asking for me because you seem different from any other women I've met." I told her with a soft smile. "Only two women have been different in my book and ones been dead for seven years and the other has a child on the way while she battles her demons that she can't drown."     I walked back to my room, setting Marker back on top of my gun cabinet before laying where Mitch had been. I took my pillow, and hugged it to my chest, letting his scent that was left behind lull me to sleep. That's how I usually figured things out.     Twins- a little boy and girl ran around with a abnormally hair colored man chasing after them, their squeals and giggles filling my ears. I chuckled happily, watching this play out before a small frame was in my lap. "Sweetheart!" I smiled at her, tucking her blonde hair behind her ear. "How are you today?" I asked with a smile. "I'm good. Whose the kids doing with having two fathers?" Katherine asked. "Pretty good, still wanting to see you." I replied while looking back at Mitch who was laying on the ground with the children tickling him to death. "Well, in another week it'll be my week with them." Katherine replied, smiling back at me. I still loved her, yeah, but I always loved Mitch more. He was my everything. "Mama? Papa! We're gonna get you!" The little boy giggled as he and his sister ran at me and Katherine. "Let's go play." I smiled at Katherine before we took off with our little bundles of joy following behind us. Jeffrey and Rena giggled as they ran after us before Katherine and I just turned to face them, and picked them up with wide smiles. "Baby, come here!" I looked over at Mitch as he waved me over, and with Rena in my arms, I went to him. "Yeah?" I raised a brow, and next thing I knew he was pulling me in for a kiss. "Hey! PG! PG!" Katherine shouted at us before we heard a slap, and turned to see Will and Hope with a twin girls in their arms. "PG is right, Katherine. Will was just saying if they didn't have Rena right now they'd probably be going at it." Hope winked at me, and my face heated. "Certainly would!" Mitch grinned at her while pulling me into his lap. I set Rena back on her feet, and watched the five year old run to her mother with a smile. Man did I love my family.
    My eyes opened after that, blinking a few times before writing it all down, and sitting cross legged in the middle of my bed. I couldn't grasp the fact that in my dream I was a f-cking father! Wait.. Is Katherine pregnant?

    My eyes flew open as I fell off the bed, immediately my hands shot out, catching myself before I hit the ground. I pushed myself back onto the bed without a problem, sending an icy glare at Will. "F-cking told you I was a light sleeper." I grumbled. I had heard the scream, but man he was so still I thought he had fallen asleep himself, but I was proven wrong when he was suddenly jumping off the bed like a damn monkey. "F-cking monkey!     I stared at the bathroom with wide eyes. "I never said it wouldn't happen." I whispered, lifting her into my arms, and walking out her room. I kicked opened my door, Hope following me from Katherine's room. "What the hell happened?" She asked me softly as I stripped Katherine's lower half in the bathroom. "Ryder, get out of that bathroom. Hope growled, and I growled back. "No, Hope. She is my girlfriend, my love, and I will help her through this. She doesn't deserve this, and I can say for a damn fact that she doesn't deserve you helping her when you don't even like her." I stared at my sister's shocked expression before it was gone. Her walls were up, and she was walking out my life when she walked out the room. Good. I don't need a little brat telling me how to run my life. At the moment it didn't faze me that I just lost my relationship with my baby sister as I went to Katherine, picked her up, set her gently in the tub, and turned of the water before removing what little clothing she had left, and beginning to clean her off. "The f-cking world is merciless, and it's also beautiful." I told her softly, gingerly dragging the wet sponge down her leg. "It brings happiness and love, but it also brings hatred and death. Its said that life is unfair, but in truth its fair because its unfair to everyone. Everyone has their own demons and problems they face, some have more demons than others though, and hell I bet everyone here has a sh-tload of demons. But this is part of the sadness in life, it'll get better soon. At least that's what I'm going to tell myself until it does. Even if I have to repeat that saying "the world is merciless, and it's also very beautiful" til the day I die I will. Why? Because even though I've been through hell the world somehow brought me to this fantastic woman who I love more than my words can express." I continued to clean her off, speaking with a softening expression. "I can't give you all that you want like Toby might have been able to. I can't give you diamonds like he did, but I can tell you one thing I can give you that he never did. And that's my love being shown to you in private and out in the open. I told you before I was head over heels for you, and I told you I was over Maya's death. Well, I am head over heels for you, but I can't say I'll ever be over her death. Just like you can't get over Toby's. They were the first people we ever loved, and now they're gone. But they're deaths brought us closer, right? I looked back at the same squirrel to see him just sitting there, and slowly I approached him, holding out a freshly opened acorn for him.     I apologized to Hope, but was out of room before she was. I had pulled my pants on just before I left, but was met by tons of Diamonds. No one had ever heard Kat scream. Especially like that. I had to talk to them as Hope went to see her. I was trying to get them all to go until one female Diamond came running to my side. "There's blood all over her bathroom floor.     I shivered, even though the water was warm. I was listening to Ryder talk and I could hear the words. Only a few made sense. I was pregnant. That explained my mood swings, why the alcohol effected me so badly and why- even though I would have never admitted it- was gaining weight. I whimpered and looked at Ryder, "I was pregnant. I wish i could say i regret it, but the look on my brother's face made it worth it. My father has never scolded me worse. He always favored me more and called my brother a weakly that he didn't want. When he reached age ten, my brother had become so sick of my father that he ran away. My dad is a very rich banker, many gangs saw that as an opportunity to get money. They kidnapped my brother and one gang kidnapped my brother and held him for ransom. My father didn't pay it and they killed him.

    I was walking to Katherine's, passing Will with an unreadable expression until I heard what the female Diamond said. I stopped dead in my tracks beside Will, facing KKatherine's room with wide, terrified, and broken eyes. "Sh-she had a miscarriage?" I whispered, a hand moved to my stomach where my own child was growing. Taking a deep breath, I faced the Diamonds who have yet to leave the hall. "Hey! As far as I know none of you belong in this hall or near this room! I heard Will before telling you all to go. And since you guys won't listen to him you're going to listen to me if you want to keep your privates intact." I was calm on the outside, but behind the empty look to my eyes was a rage nobody wanted to see. Nobody deserved to have a miscarriage- I had seen first hand what it did to the parents of the child especially the mother. And it had been my parents who had had so many miscarriages just to give me the little sister they thought I wanted. "Move! Get out of this hallway!" I shouted, narrowing my eyes as the Diamonds scurried from the hall seeing that I wasn't joking. Then I went to Katherine's room, walked out the room, to mine, and changing outfits. I walked back to Katherine's room, cleaning supplies in one hand and the other pulling a handkerchief over my mouth after I tied another one on the top of my head. Ryder wasn't the only clean freak of the family- I was worse. Kind of the reason I burned my bed spread and have yet to put a new one down. I need a new bed.. I went into Katherine's room, shutting the door with my foot, and beginning to clean.

    I watched Hope caeefully. Her expression was unreadable, which spoke volumes to me. "Thank you," I said just before she closed the door. I ran a hand through my hand and looked at the now empty hall. I walked three doors down to Ryder's room and pushed the door open. "Kat? Ryder?" I called to the darkness. I could hear Kitty sobbed, but I figured it might not be good to just come in. She might be in the shower, or something.

    I curled into Ryder and held onto the dry part of his shirt. His jeans felt weird against my legs. I knew which guy the child belonged to, but I didn't even know his last name. I didn't know what my own baby's last name was. I bit my lip to try to contain my sobbing. "I want to name it." I whispered just before I heard the door open and Will call out.
