    The creature was a little Zigzagoon. "A Zigzagoon!" Evelyn looked at Fennekin. "Fennekin use-" She was cut off as Fennekin used Quick Attack on the little Zigzagoon. The Zigzagoon used bite, then used dodge as Fennekin used another quick Attack.

    (uh.. I SAID THAT! and please PM me when you want a pokemon to evolve or catch one.)

    Rapidash Drew back, his sides heaving ever so slightly from the attacks. "Come Rapidash, hang in there!" Maddie shouted. "Now, use Tackle, followed by Fire Spin!" Rapidash took of light a bolt of lightning towards Umbreon, using it's incredible speed to increase the force of it's Tackle. As Umbreon flew back from the blow, Rapidash sent a Fire Spin spinning after it.

    Umbreon saw the Fire spin and used quick attack to dodge it. He got hit by a little fire though. "Dark pulse again!" James yelled. Umbreon let out a flash of dark energy and it hit Rapidash.

    Rapidash stumbled slightly from the blow, but was quickly back up on it's feet. "Rapidash, use Ember!" Rapidash blew an Ember off at Umbreon, landing a direct hit.

    The Zigzagoon used Tail Whip, but Fennekin dodged as Evelyn said the command. Fennekin used scratch then used tail whip, but Zigzagoon dodged. Then Fennekin used tackle, then used ember up close, causing Zigzagoon amost fainting, which gave a chance to Evelyn to catch the Zigzagoon. She threw a pokeball at the Zigzagoon, which stayed put, and yelled out in triumph, "I GOT A ZIGZAGOON!!!" Fennekin yipped also, her first battle was a sucess!

    Umbreon saw a chance to finish it off. He used screech one more time, lowering his defense harshly again and used Dark pulse. It hit and Rapidash staggered. He then used confuse ray to Confuse him. (How about we have a tie? You hit yourself with confuse ray , but fire spin comes into effect and Umbreon gets defeated to?)

    OOC: Alright, we can do that!


    IC: Rapidash staggered around the field, confused. In it's confusion, Rapidash hurt itself, which brough the Pokèmon to it's knees.

    Umbreon stood up with pride, but feinted as well because of the Fire spin. "Return!" James called and Umbreon went into his pokeball.

    Maddie ran to Rapidash's side. She gave her weakened Pokémon an Oran berry to help heal it. Rapidash, now feeling better, stood up and took it's place by Maddie. "That was a fun battle!" Maddie said. "Thanks for having one with me!"

    James nodded and said, "Anytime anywhere, now lets get going to Oreburge city!" James ran into a pokemon center. He healed up and ran out, in the direction of Oreburgh City.

    Maddie smiled, also headed to the Pokémon Center, healed her Pokèmon, then mounted Rapidash's back. The Pokèmon took of like a shot, covering ground towards Orenburg City with long strides. Maddie had Rapidahs slow as she caught up with James, but she stayed astride Rapidash.

    Evelyn looked at the pokeball that she used to catch the little Zigzagoon. My first pokemon.. She put the pokeball in her satchel and went on, following the road.




    After a few hours of walking she found a sign. She read it out loud, "Oreburgh City.." She looked at her Fennekin, who yapped with delight. She followed the trail that led her into the city, but as she grew closer, a pokemon leaped out of a bush. Evelyn took out her pokedex (or whatever the gizmo is called) and researched it. "A Victreebel.." She listened as the pokedex told her about the facts of the grass type. Fennekin, however, was attracted to a sweet-smelling aroma. Evelyn stared in shock as the pokedex said this: "VICTREEBEL lures prey with the sweet aroma of honey to attract prey. When an unsuspecting prey draws near, this POKéMON swallows it whole. Evelyn quickly snatched up her Fennekin and took a few steps back, hugging her Fennekin close.

    Evelyn looked down at her Fennekin. Even though the Victreebel was a grass type, She doesnt think that Fennekin will make it through the battle. The Victreebel rose one if its vine, ready for a Vine Whip. (WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? WILL EVELYN MAKE IT THROUGH OR FENNEKIN WILL FAIL? x3)
