  • [font=times new roman][align=center][color=black]"Isn't this place lovely?" A teen girl with aqua-colored hair said excitedly as she and her friends stepped onto the deck of Waffle Town, a nice, quiet yet busy little town located on Waffle Island. Already the town was bustling with activity, people going back and forth with purpose. Suddenly, she heard rushed footsteps and saw a girl headed their way, her brown eyes bright. She jogged past the townspeople, waving as she passed, her short, dark brown hair flying behind her. {I wasn't really sure where to stop-- |'D}

  • Zuko flinched, clinging onto Harumi's arm as he shivered a bit. He wasn't used to being in such crowded places like this and, as much as the trip had excited him, He was scared. "H-H-Harumi-chan.. I-It's so loud.." He murmured softly.

    Etsuo and Kazuki were rather silent, along with Yoru and Kuro trailing behind. "... I wonder where they're going.." Kazuki murmured as he observed everyone around him. "I.. wonder what they're doing..." Etsuo simply had his head in a book, like always. "..."

  • [font=times new roman][align=center][color=black]Harumi looked around uneasily. "I-It'll be okay, Zuko. These people... They probably have places they need to go." She smiled slightly.

    The brown-eyed girl, named Akari, slowed down and watched the people walk around. After a bit, the crowd was thinning considerably, since most had a business to uphold. Although a few stragglers were still hanging about. Then Akari caught sight of the newcomers and jogged to meet them, grinning excitedly. "Newcomers!"

  • "I-I-I guess-" he squeaked, jumping a mile and dashing behind Harumi as Akari jogged up, having been startled by her sudden appearance.

    Kazuki looked up. "..." He started Akari, his head tilted. He didn't really get what she meant. "Hello there." He greeted with a dip of his head, hoping that's what he was supposed to do in this current situation.

  • [font=times new roman][align=center][color=black]Akari stopped in front of the group and grinned before clasping her hands together in front of her and bowing slightly. "Welcome! It's been so long since we saw anyone new in Waffle Town..." When she rose, a faint look of dismay dulled her gaze. But it was gone moments later as she eyed the group with interest. "So many of you! Are you here just to visit?" Her bright smile returned. "You couldn't have chosen a better place. Sure, it may get loud sometimes, but not often. There's a festival coming up, so everyone was preparing." She blinked. "Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Akari~ If you don't mind me asking, what's your names?"

  • Zuko peeked from behind Harumi, swallowing nervously. "Z-- Z-Z-Zuko-" He stammered, feeling a bit more confident than before. "Z-Zuko N-Naoki-"

    Etsuo put his book under his arm, adjusting his glasses. "Etsuo Himitsu. It's nice to meet you, Akari." He gave a small smile. "That's Yoru and Kuro back there," He pointed to the twins. Kazuki simply blinked. "...... Kazuki-" He said after a moment, as if having to register what she'd asked. "A pleasure, Akari-.... What's a festival..?" He asked with a blink

  • [font=times new roman][align=center][color=black]"I'm Harumi Matsu." The girl added quickly, her gray blue eyes shy.

    The farmer smiled, then looked at Kazuki and her deep brown eyes widened slightly. "You don't know what a festival is?" She blinked, then shook her head and sighed. "Forgive me for not elaborating earlier. A festival is like... An event, where people from all over the island come and gather to talk or buy rare items that you can't find anywhere else. The Flower Festival is tomorrow-- You could come and check it out for yourselves, if you'd like." She tilted her head. "Although... There are a few special festivals in Summer and Winter that are usually meant for couples. But there are plenty normal festivals as well." Akari grinned. "Ah, I'm starting to rant, excuse me. Since you're new here, would you like a tour of the island? I can show you all the stores and introduce you to the islanders, if you wish~" {SO MUCH MUSE. XDD I'm typing freaking paragraphs here.. XD}

  • "... I see.." Kazuki blinked. "A tour would be nice.. I've never been on an island.." He looked up at Etsuo, who nodded. "If it's alright with everyone else, that'd be very helpful." He agreed. "What do you guys think?" He asked, looking back at the others. {XDD LOL. MY MUSE IS JUST- EEH, ALL OVER THE PLACE. XD I'M REALLY MUSEY FOR MY UTAUS AND LEN. XD}

  • [font=times new roman][align=center][color=black]Harumi nodded eagerly. "It sounds fun!" She squeaked and giggled.

    Akari watched the exchange silently, her gaze bright. She glanced over her shoulder at the now empty town and smiled. The others'll be thrilled to meet the visitors~ Mayor Hamilton especially, I'm sure. He's thrilled at how far the island's come since I revived the Mother Tree. He gets excited when new people arrive, even if they aren't moving in... {XDD}

  • Etsuo smiled. "Then of course, we'd like a tour." "...What's a tour-" Kazuki blinked. "She'll be showing us around." Etsuo explained, looking back at Akira. "You should know, he doesn't know much about the world. He was built with no memory or knowledge, so he has the mental capacity of a five year old right about now." He murmured.

    Zuko blinked, looking up at Harumi. "H-Harumi-chan- ... I-I'm worried I'll get lost in that c-crowd-" He squeaked, clinging onto her arm with a shiver.

  • [font=times new roman][align=center][color=black]Akari bobbed her head in an understanding nod. "I'll keep that in mind." She smirked in amusement. Then she turned around. "Let's see... Let's go visit the General Store first." She began walking toward the nearest building, smiling cheerfully. But then suddenly her footsteps faltered. ... Built?

    Harumi smiled at him reassuringly. "Don't worry about it-- Everybody's gone now~"

  • Etsuo blinked once. "...? Are you alright, Akari?" He asked with a tilt of his head. "You stopped so suddenly."

    "I-I know, but-- W-We might run into them again-" He murmured softly. "... I-- If we do, C-Can I- H-Hold your hand--?"

  • [font=times new roman][align=center][color=black]Akari blinked and hesitated, her gaze confused, then she shook her head. "No, it's nothing." She smiled slightly. "Now, let's go."

    Harumi nodded with a small smile. "Sure~"

  • Etsuo tilted his head. "... Alright, if you say so-" He coughed. "I know we aren't- Your average tourists, so.. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me." Kazuki had simply gotten distracted, his gaze wandering around in wonder. He wanted to ask what all this was, but he didn't want to bother anyone, either-

    Zuko smiled. "T-Thank you, H-Harumi-chan-" He squeaked. "I-- I mean, I-If it won't a-annoy you--" He quickly added, his face flushing.

  • [font=times new roman][align=center][color=black]Akari glanced over her shoulder at them. "Yeah, you're not... The others'll sure be surprised." She smiled in amusement.

    Harumi frowned and, in response, reached out and took his hand gently, yet firmly. "Of course not, don't think that."
