Echo cocked her head to the side curiously " what do I want..?" She asked curiously looking down " I don't know. I never eat like humans do...." Echo mumbled softly and she cocked her head to the side " Maybe what you call a burger? It seems like people like it"

Echo took his hand nuzzling against him " what's your name?" She asked him softly and she ended up hugging his arm looking up at him with her bright purple blue eyes " your cute for a human" she mumbled lightly as a light blush came to her cheeks but she continued to hold onto him. She scratched her neck which had a puffy scar from where her throat was slit while she was still in the tree.
"My name's Matthew... It's nice to meet you, Echo." He didn't say anything when she held his hand and then gripped his arm, his attention on her rubbing her neck, "What happened? That scar accrods your neck..."

My throat was slit.' She said softly " like.. An hour ago." She said sheepishly looking down resting against him stretching her eyes widening as she smelled food " Ohmygosh it smells sooooo good right now." She whimpered holding onto him tightly
Matthew's eyes widened, "Slit?" He repeated, "We should probably get you to a doctor to see if you're alright; if you have a concussion, that'll be really bad..." He trailed off as the food came out, handing it to her.

I'm okay" She whispered" I just need a palace to sleep" Echo mumbled as she ate hungrily soon finishing " That was amazing" she whispered yawning sleepily " Thank you for helping me.." She said softly leaning In kissing his cheek not thinking much of it.
"No, we're taking you to a doctor." Matthew said sternly, his mind having been made up, "You're welcome..." Trailing off, he flushed when he was kissed, "Alright... I'll bring you to my place to sleep, and I'll have one of my friends come to check your head."

Thank you!" Echo purred and she yawned sleepily following him to his house curling up on the couch once she did.
His friend Jason was talking to ---- " so would you like to grab some coffee?"
Matthew gently covered her with a blanket, making sure she was alright before getting his phone and calling Jason. Fey gave a grin and nodded, "I'd love to, Jason..." Trailing off, she frowned as his phone began to ring, "You should probably get that. I'll bet it's Matt asking you to help him with some stupid idea again."

Jason laughed and he picked up frowning when he heard the situation." Let's go, he picked up a girl with what he thinks is amnesia " Jason explained going over to his house knocking before coming in.
Echo jumped up hearing someone come in and she moved closer to the edge of the couch curling up again.
Jason saw the girl sighing " I will check her out real quick.." He mumbled to Matthew heading over to echo checking her pupils and the whole nine yards " She's a bit dazed but over all she's great, well except the scratches which should heal soon enough. It seems like she's just had a lot of stress come up suddenly." Jason explained to Matthew and he paused as Echo moved closer to him taking his backpack and she looked over it jumping when she opened the zipper and Jason chuckled watching her pull out a book squinting at the letters " What is this? Is it a new language?' She asked getting a pen figuring out what it was and soon wrote runes down from the Theban alphabet . Echo looked over Jason who seemed to be very curious " Hey Matthew, you can read older languages.. Right?"
Fey frowned, "Amnesia?" She questioned, walking beside Jason and then following him inside. Matthew frowned and gave a little nod. When he heard what Jason had to say, the male's frown deepened further, "You ssure? She's convinced that she 'shrivled' and tried to eat by throwing her arms up towards the sky." Fey frowned a little bit as she listened, "It cold be part of the stress, Matthew. She should just rest..." Trailing off, both her and Matthew gazed at Echo as she wrote on the notebook. Matthew shook his head a little bit, "Not that one." Fey moved over and then slowly sunk down before Echo, "May I see what you wrote?"

She nodded handing her the Theban alphabet. It was a quote from a historic event in the part of town a few hundred years ago " Tomorrow the blood sun rises so let's make the most of this night." It was when the old kingdom that once was here was attacked and reformed to this town today. ( I Made it up because I'm to lazy to look anything up x3) Echo looked over at them and he went through Jason's math notebook growling " you make math hard." She muttered putting the notebook back sitting on her knees."I spread my arms out because that's his I fed before today!"
Matthew gestured towards Echo as she spoke, "See." Fey read the quote, frowning a little bit before looking at Echo, "Where did you get this?" She questioned, "The quote?" She didn't wait for an answer before she moved over to Jason and Matthew, "It's about the town history, from when it was a kingdom." Matthew frowned a little, "In that alphabet? She wrote it so easily..."

Fey glanced over at her and then at the boys, "WE should get her to a hospital. There is something seriously wrong..." Matthew gave a little nod and glanced over at Echo before shaking his head, "WE're sorry. We don't mean to upset you. Here, let's stand you up..."

Echo scowled " just let me sleep!" She whined clutching into the blanket but ket them pull her up.

Echo looked annoyed and she shut up since they were thinking she was being strange. She just pouted and started braiding her hair mumbling " I don't know much about this world.. Did all magic fade?"
Matthew lifted Echo into his arms, holding her gently as he gave a nod. Fey gave a little frown, "I can drive, Jason. You don't seem to thrilled about this." She said gently, "I know you gave her a mostly clean bill of health, but this is definitely not normal behavior." She lightly squeezed his arm, sighing a little and glancing back at Matthew as the girl spoke, "There never has been magic." Matthew replied.
