The large feline definitely got the basics of what to do from what Silverstrike just told him. Ichigo nodded his head, but he knew it would be difficult. This was definitely a different kind of training from what he was used to. Instead of fighting a real thing, he would be fighting the currents of the water. It was then that something moved out of the corner of his eye, and he noticed a golden eagle coming right toward Silverstrike. It reminded him so much of the Hollow that had attacked her in the other thread, and he was about to sink his jaws into its wing before he stopped himself. Silverstrike wasn't howling in pain. It almost looked like.... a pet. The swordsman closed his jaws slowly, but still kept an eye on the bird.

The large feline watched the eagle carefully. It was obvious that he didn't trust birds very much considering the fact that he had been attacked by their species. Twice. Hearing Silverstrike, the Shinigami nodded his head and plugged into the water, slowly of course. Kicking his long and powerful legs, he was able to reach the surface, and he sneezed out the salt that had gotten into his nose. It was then that he almost began to use his large tail, which was famous on cougars. Kicking his powerful legs, he began to swim around the rock, but it was then a strong current caught his body caught his body and slammed it against the structure. A wince formed across his face, as he then climbed back upon the rock, completely his lap, and rolling his shoulder since that was that hit the rock.

She shook her head at him, floating past the rock on her back. "If you don't want to die of exasustion in the middle of the ocean, swim sideways. Eventually you'll be able to get out of the current, and hopefully swim back to shore." Here she motioned to the fish lying I front of Ichigo witha wave of her paw. "Of you eat enough of those, your fur will slowly gain a more waterproof coating. It helps quite a bit, as your fur isn't weighting you down."

Considering the fact that his fur was made for keeping snow it, it did a decent job keeping the water out, but definitely not water tight as he got cold in the water quite quickly. Lowering his head at the fish, he opened his large jaws and took a bite, which to him was about half of the fish. He knew the taste of this, but this time he almost gagged at the salty taste, and almost immediately had to swallow it whole. Sticking out his tongue at the taste he coughed.
