Ariana's lips curved into a sly smile at the sound he uttered, her hand wandering up his chest and her fingertips lightly followed the lines of his form. She lowered her head and nuzzled the underside of his jaw, her lips trailing from the frame of his face to his lips. His slow, gentle touch caused her to begin longing for more, wanting to feel his hands on her frame. Ari shifted in his lap and leaned into him, at the same time stretching out her leg to expose more for him. The princess knew she needed to pull back, but Xylex made it hard for her to do such a thing.

Ariana gasped as his fingers roamed, another chill passing through her body. Her heart began to beat faster and her breath became shallow with the idea he was physically suggesting with his touch. The soft moan she was holding back slid past her lips before she could control herself. "Xylex…" she began to warn, but she could manage to finish, to caught up in what he was doing. She placed her free hand under his chin, drawing his lips up to hers, where she gingerly tugged at his lower lip with her teeth. Ari felt the warmth of his chest under her hands and wanted to feel the warmth against her own body, her hands moving up and down his chest more quickly as she grew more excited.

Ari felt him remove his hand from her body and before she could stop the noise, she whimpered in protest. "Don't…don't be sorry, I was enjoying that. We just…shouldn't do this here," her voice ached with every word, the words so difficult to say. In fact, she couldn't even bring herself to stop what she had been doing. Her hands continued to roam under his shirt, her cold fingertips tracing every bit of his torso she could get to. Her touch was delicate, gentle as her fingers trailed his scars and felt the lines of muscle his large frame had. Ariana let a trail of kisses down his throat, searching for a weak spot. Despite saying and knowing she needed to stop, the princess simply couldn't restrain herself from him, to caught up in the moment.

Ariana didn't answer at first, to tangled up in him to think about waiting. She smiled slyly as his voice quivered, stopping her lips over his weak spot. She breathed hotly against the skin, gently kissing the spot before letting her tongue draw soft circles over the area. Now she moved both hand under the fabric covering his torso, wanting to cover to much skin for only one hand to satisfy her want. The princess wanted the heat of his body against hers, she longed to be even closer than they already were, close enough to feel the contours of his chest and torso with her own. "You don't mind waiting to continue this?" Ari inquired,"You'd be alright with that?" She nearly sounded surprised, but she tried to hide it in her voice.

Ariana reluctantly closed her hands into tight fist to restrain herself from touching him, slowly drawing them out from under his shirt and smoothing the fabric. "Xylex…" she whispered his name into his ear, her voice silky and low,"How will waiting make it better for you?" she murmured curiously, her breath hot as she breath down his neck before pulling back so she could meet his icy blue gaze. Ari adjusted her dress by pushing the fabric down to cover her leg, still able to distinctly remember where his fingers roamed on her skin. Her heart gradually slowed to a normal pace as she allowed things to cool off, her thoughts racing about Xylex and what he said they would pick up later.

Ariana parted her lips to speak but met his lips instead, suddenly forgetting what she was trying to say and simply relaxing in his lap. She gently kissed him, slowly moving her lips against his and closing her eyes to savor the taste of his lips. His talk about waiting made her anxious already. Her chest was filled with unsettled desire, making her lustful for their next encounter. "How long will we put this off for, Xylex?" The princess asked quietly, he soft lips brushing over his as she spoke, and his name still low and silky off of her tongue. One hand fiddled with the end of his shirt, the other stroking the back of his neck soothingly, her fingers running over his scar for a brief moment.

"My quarters…no one is allowed to be there without permission or request…and there's a bed…" the princess explained in quiet, sultry tones,"I assume such a location will do?" Ariana shifted in his lap so she could press her body to him, her thumb slipping under the edge of his shirt to lightly stroke his skin. She tried to make her desire settle, knowing it would be hard to last another moment without touching him, let alone long enough to find an appropriate time. Her crown was slightly crooked due to when she had tilted her head back to allow Xylex space to work, but fixing it was the last thing on her mind. Though she pulled the neckline of her dress to where it belonged, covering her shoulder.

"I won't need to be anywhere after the ball, anytime after the ball ends…then I can be all yours," the princess explained to him, knowing no one would suspect her disappearance at that time. She anxiously shifted in his lap, feeling a little better knowing that Xylex would finish what he had started with her, and that she would not be left hanging with no promise of ever finishing. His touch made her feel so loved and wanted, and now she longed for the feeling of his finger tips tracing her form. "I don't suppose we could resume later tonight? We don't have to wait longer than that, do we?" Ari asked, her thumb stroking the edge of his hip bone while they made plans.

The loving way his lips touched her skin made her lips curve into a genuine smile. "I'll be looking forward to our plans for the rest of the day," she purred into his ear, leaving a small kiss on his cheek before she pull her body away and got to her feet. She smoothed out her dress and adjusted her crown and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, trying to look more presentable. Ignoring the tinging feeling of lust that was filling her chest was hard, but Xylex was right, waiting made her long for the encounter for more. Ariana offered her hand to help the prince to his feet, starting to follow the short path back to the castle door.

Ariana followed him closely as he lead her back to the ball, her hip brushing against his side with each step she took. She put a warm smile on and straightened her posture, she made her stride elegant and her held her chin high, slipping right back into the proper behavior for a princess. When they entered the crowded room, the only people who paid attention to them was Elida, Jarin, and Ari's mother. Ariana paid no attention to the glances, instead, she pulled herself to Xylex's chest and put a hand on his shoulder to begin another dance.
Elida had an unpleasant scowl on her face, her eyes dark and rather jealous as she watched the two wander back into the room.
