    [justify] Lily sighed as she hugged her threadbare jacket closer to her person. She shivered, it not doing much against the bitter wind. Struggling through wind, she finally reached a dump, in which she called home, but something was amiss she noted. Realizing to late that it was her father, who had turned on her, screaming and yelling, shaking a beer bottle threateningly. "Where have you been!" he roared at her, and she could smell the drugs on his breath from her 5 feet away.
    "I'm sorry, I was at my job!" She yelled back over the wind, though it still carried her voice away, making it barley audible.
    "Sure, you little s***, Im sure you were." He hissed, shaking his bear bottle threateningly.
    She started to back away slowly, but her father had other idea's, hurtling the beer bottle at her head, meeting it's mark mind you, she fell to the ground. "Piece of s***." He muttered hobbling back into their home, leaving her lying in the cool air, bleeding to death. This is it, isn't it? she wondered. I'm gone. but just as she faded away, she saw a man step out of his car.

    Lily Beket never fit in anywhere, she was always the "odd" one out. Her speaking lacked the derogatory terms and slang others used, by 16 she still had her virginity and had never smoke or drank. Everyone knew she was weird, accept her mother. Her mother loved her with all her heart, but she had to leave. Lily's mother was a solider in the U.S. army, and she M.I.A. or missing in action. Her father turned to drug abuse, cocaine, smoking, everything possible to ease the pain. Only it didn't. Soon he started to abuse their only child, Lily. She was 13 then, and now she's 17, turning 18 in may. She had finished secondary schooling in her 16th year, but had not the money to go to college, so she waited, got a job, waited until she could go join the military.[/fancypost]
