    Hunter, a lost kitty-pet trampled through the dense forest, before noticing a stretched lake that ran through the valley. His lean lithe body swiveled into the bushes, his nose flaring, only smelling traces of a she-cat in heat. Oh no. His jaw lowered, releasing a strong hiss that could be heard on the other side of the wide river. His silver fangs wrapped around a large berry that dangled from a leaf on the bush. He rested it on the smooth dirt, giving it a few sniffs before noticing it was a normal berry, hopefully.

    With a swift pace, her neatly groomed figure pounced into the opening of the forest, wild glints passing sapphire sea tints whilst her small front paws smothered the dirt beneath them, a small pomf and a cloud of dirt airing out from between them. "What do you want?" The female in heat, resigning to the name Bonfire, hissed, her brightly hued orange coat flaming around her.

    The tom swung around, glaring at the female. His eyes opened wide as he noticed how beautiful she was. His tail lashed, curling around her front spotted legs. "O-Oh nothin-g.." She meowed, stuttering nervously. His pink nose hit against the berry, rolling it towards the female. "Hungry?" He asked kindly, his orange eyes twinkling in the small amount of sunlight that dappled the forest.

    Confusion crossed her emotions, and she winced as the berry tumbled softly toward her. He was trying to sweet talk her, and then attack while she was in heat! "No, I've got plenty of ability to get my own food!" Bonfire retorted, and, unlike his polite roll, smushed the berry against her paw with anger flashing and teeth barely baring.

    "O-Oh.." He mumbled, his eyes widening as she watched her become angry in front of his eyes. "L-Look, I will not hurt you, I-My name is Hunter." He muttered, his tail lashing nervously. Why must this female think he was going to harm her? He lowered his haunches, resting upon the soft dirt beneath him.

    "Yeah, well I never asked your name, did I?" She hissed, raising as eyebrow as he lay. Awkwardly clearing her throat, she maintained a sitting posture, still tense. "I guess I have to tell you now to? Bonfire."

    "Thats a pretty name." He meowed kindly, his tail still twitching nervously. The aroma of her in heat still crinkled his nose, but of course, him being a male, he liked it. "I live on the other side of the lake, and came here to get food." He explained, trying to convince her he wasn't as harmful as his built, strong body looked.
