Jay jumped up and leaped down the rock in one smooth leap. He trotted over to Kelta, a alert look in his eyes. "Where? Is anyone hurt? Where is Luna?" He asked and looked around for Luna.

Luna came sprinting into the camp a few seconds later and stopped in front of Jay, who sighed in relief that his best friend was okay. "I suppose Kelta has told you about the bear?" She asked between huff and Jay nodded. "Good good, it was a bit away from camp a few hours ago, I don't know where it went, it's scent was faint." She informed.

Jay nodded. "We have to know where this bear is, it might be a threat to the pack. Luna, are you up for going on a search team, with some others of course? We might need your hunting experiences" He asked, and Luna nodded.

Jay nodded. "Okay, but take a minute or so to catch your breath again, don't want you two to run out of energy suddenly while tracking a bear." He said to both of them and took off to check the camp for any scents.

Luna nodded with a smile, her breath turning back to normal.

Luna nodded and smiled. "Yep, now, let's go find this teddy bear!" She said.

Luna nodded and stuck her nose in the air. She caught a faint scent of the bear from the north. "It's gone North." She said and followed the very faint scent, still she came upon a large bear paw print. "Look at this, that bear is massive!" She said.

Jay turned to face her and looked curiously and a bit surprised at her. "Why do you think what I said was simple comforting instead of the real thing? And I never lie. Pack members, pups, family, friends and so on, always get the truth unless I have to lie, and that will only be for their safety or good sake, never my own." He said and tilted his head slightly. He felt a little hurt because she thought it was only for comforting and that he might have lied to her, but he supposed she had a reason to think that.

Luna nodded and walked North. After a while, away from the camp, the scent suddenly became faint and Luna stopped and frowned. "It's changed direction." She said and sniffed the air, then froze. Her body tensed and her eyes widened. "Kelta? Don't....Move." She whispered and her ears turned backwards. "It's behind us.. Stay calm, and don't run, and don't startle it with motions or noises, it will not hesitate to kill you on the spot." She whispered and stood completely still and silent.

"I have no idea, I should have caught its scent quicker." Luna whispered embarrassed and shook her head. A snap of a twig was heard behind them and she made a tiny startled jump. "It's coming closer." She whispered and gulped.

"we, um.. I think we should turn around, show we mean no harm and get the hell out of here?" She suggested and glanced over her shoulder to see the bear.

Ooc: It's a while outside camp, it'll take a while to get there, and again? And how can he hear them?

Luna nodded and slowly turned around to face a angry or annoyed bear. "I agree, this won't be easy but it's our only chance." She whispered and lowered her body and head, trying to signal to bear she meant no harm.

"Don't leave, please." Jay said softly and looked at her. He was vulnerable, a very rare sight from this male. He had always blocked away his sorrow filled and vulnerable experiences, but they started to break through his weakened barrier. "I can't handle any more leaving me." He said, not talking directly about her, but more about his family, a very sore and sad subject, the sad spot inside of this normally calm and friendly male. A subject, no one but Luna and himself knew about, and she had sworn to keep it secret, as well as Jay had sworn to hide it away and forget, but the memories stuck and wouldn't be forgotten.
