Should I stay or should I go? (Will the wild horses like their new home?)

    The Plot


    Wild horses are captured, and humans begin to tame them. Soon, the herd is conflicted. Some horses want to stay with their owners, while others only dream of freedom again.


    The humans will all work on the same ranch or share the same stables so that we can all interact.
    The stables are slightly small, and it connects to a large paddock with long grass and a few oak trees. There is a circular training pen nearby. The RP will start at the auction.

    Lady calmly ran her nose over the ground for a few moments before lifting her head up to observe the area.


    Blake snorted and shook his head, impatient and uncomfortable.

    Desertflower spotted Lady and trotted over. "What's going on?" She snorted.


    Carol hitched the trailer to her blue ford truck, ready to head to the auction.

    Lady glanced over at the white and black mare and hung her head. "I'm not sure. Some kind of gathering," she murmured, looking back up over the other horses to see more people arriving.


    Joshua slid into his black truck and began driving towards the auction.


    Natalie hopped out of her old white vehicle and entered the sale with her one long braid bouncing up and down on her back.

    Desertflower nodded. "I don't know what's going on."


    Carol parked the truck where she could with the bulky trailer, and headed off towards the ring, feeling hopeful.

    Jay walked to the ring with his hands stuffed in his pockets. He sighed hoping to earn a horse.


    Night looked around, eyes wide as he did. He really didn't feel food about this place. His mane was draped over the right of his neck and his pelt was dim. He approached Desertflower and Lady. "I am not sure how I feel about this place." He said flicking his ear.


    Arrya trotted along the fence. This place was so aloive with humans. It was odd and she was also not sure how she felt.

    "I know!" She whinnied shrilly. "It looks scary!"


    Carol waved to Jay. "Here for a horse?" It was obvious that he was, but she was just making conversation.

    "Of course!" He said witha small smile. "These horses are gorgeous." He said pulling a hand out of one of his pockets. 'Is there a horse that caught your eye?" He asked curiously.


    Night steeped closer to her and smiled. "I think well be ok, but it still seems fishy." His eyes flowed in the light as he looked around.

    Lady agreed with Night with slow nod, but of course, she was still very cautious. "Hopefully," she added softly.


    Natalie wandered over to Carol and Jay while giving a small wave, but kept her mouth shut to not interrupt them.


    Joshua parked the truck near the back of the gravely lot before heading over to the sale, deep green eyes examining the wild horses.


    Blake sighed gruffly and joined Desertflower and the others, keeping quiet.

    Carol waved back, before turning back to Jay. "I'm not sure yet," She answered truthfully. "But I'm heading over to the main ring soon."


    Desertflower stamped nervously before standing closely to the rest of the horses, feeling safer in a herd.

    "Oh yeah, she is a pretty one, put not exactly what I got my eye on." He said with a small smile. "I like the white and black spotted one." He said looking at Desert flower.

    "Oh yeah," She commented. " like the pattern, but she seems like she'd spook easy."


    Desertflower tossed her head nervously.

    "I suppose." He said with a small sigh.


    Night looked at Desetflower, trying to keep calm. He gave her an easing look, but he looked more panicked than calm. what did they want?
