"Create your own Destiny...."

Fireclan was created by a group of scraggly cats, emaciated and weak. Now a strong clan, these cats originally came from a Clan named Darkclan. Darkclan was a tight knit clan with no enemies or borders to worry about. They were a peaceful clan, allowing different animals in their family, growing and prospering. Legend has it that Darkclan has a secret....they knew how to create and manipulate fire, using the sparkling wonder to their advantage. One day, another group of cats stumbled upon them, hungry and frightened. The cats took almost everything from Darkclan; their food, their water, their hunting grounds, their territory, and even their queens. Firestar, the leader of Darkclan was too kind and foolish to realize what was happening, but it was too late. As the new group grew stronger, their hatred and mercilessness multiplied. The new clan took Darkclan's fire, and used it against them. One night the new clan ravaged Darkclan's camp, setting almost everything and everyone ablaze, and slain their leader, Firestar. Emberheart, a warrior at the time, tried to save everyone he could, but only a few survived, mainly kits. Emberheart couldn't save his family, he watched his father Firestar, his mother Goldenstream, and his only sister Fernpaw perish in the depths of the screaming, never-ending flame. Even today, Emberheart bears an ugly mark to remind him of that day, a massive burn scar that spreads across the left side of his face; forever marring his once handsome and proud look. Emberheart became Emberstar, who ruthlessly rules his clan mates. He is passionately aggressive, ferociously merciless, and hatefully vengeful. Only burning embers can be found in his heart, unless there is a cat who can make their way into his soul and remind him that he can create his own destiny.....
