everyone i've told in real life has been giving me negative feedback about the idea, but i want to do it so badly...
put simply, it's a story told in short-story chapter format, and it's about these two boys. their situations and things change by the story, but what does remain the same is that one has red hair, he's short and pale, he listens to music witht a tape recorder, prefers cigarettes to alcohol and has a handgun, and the other is taller with dark hair, has a thing for cars and mechanics / electric stuff in general, gets drunk a lot and prefers to carry a pocket knife. the setting is also the same, a futuristic new york city, post-nuke. however, since each short story chapter is based on a different song from the redhead's voice recorder, it's basically alternate timelines for the future between these two boys. what i mean by this is:
chap 1 - deathof redhead
chap 2 - they meet
chap 3 - drunk flirting and making out
chap 4 - death of redhead a different way
chap 5 - meeting a different way
chap 6 - they hate each other
chap 7 - death of brunet
and so on and so on
basically, i write what i'm in the mood to write. is anyone interested? i'm tired of getting negative comments because i really want to do this. (iprobably won't put it online though, because of stealing etc. though no one would want to steal my crappy writing)
