Either way, she seemed to want to put the subject to rest, so he left it. It was interesting to him how experiences like this could completely change one's perspective on another. Not only that he found her both alluring and amusing, but now he felt like he cared. He'd of coure cared if she died, but this was a different type of caring. When I was out there, and I couldn't see you, I heard this weird voice in my head. I mean, it wasn't my own voice. Something else, something weird and foreign. It said my name, and it told me that you were drowning beneath the water." he told her, realizing just how strange exactly that sounded. "I sound crazy." he finished, hoping that now she didn't think she was dealing with a lunatic that heard voices in his head that predicted tragedies.
