True creatures of beauty the Dragons have survived. They live alongside humans in harmony, which is until the humans drive them out. Now decades later the dragons are rare almost extinct, humans are grown up on the tales of Dragons being Beasts of Fire and Monstrous Creatures. Every human knows the stories, you won’t find one place where even the word Dragon raises voices.
"One day when a young girl and her brother are being told a story about dragons and how horrifying they are the girl thinks to herself wondering if maybe the stories aren't true. Maybe they weren't all bad. Maybe we were just over exaggerating things. This lead the young child to sneak off to a forest cave she had seen when she was playing. She’d never had the courage to go in, nor her brother, but now she felt like she must. This young child no older than 7 found one of the very last dragons. This dying dragon was protecting two eggs. One the lightest crystal blue and the other a deep, dark red. Every day the child would come to the cave bring small amounts of meat and food taking care of the dragon till one day the dragon wouldn't even eat. The child afraid of what would happen to the eggs if she left them there took them home hiding them in the barn with the animals. She always took care of them making sure they never were found. When the girl was 10, one egg hatched and became very attached to the child like a dog to its master. That was when the towns ppl found out about the eggs and in effort to destroy the eggs, the child’s parents were killed along with her brother at 14. The dragon that had hatched was found and killed but the unhatched egg and the girl were nowhere to be seen. 3 years later the girl now had a 2 year old dragon. The creature was huge but not as big as they could get, the dark red dragon and the girl had been hiding from the town and people in general for the last 3 years. When the baby dragon hatched the child had to go steal food for it and raised it. The girl still remembers how her parents were murdered and hates the people who spread the rumors of dragons being vile creatures. She is now what we call a dragon rider, she might be young but she is more mature than any adult she ever came across. Her dragon at 3 is still only half the size of a full grown dragon is as strong as ever and more protective of his rider than life itself. These two practically grew up together fugitives, and still are, but now the girl wants to make a change; she wants everyone to know dragons aren’t bad creatures.”
This RP is about a colony of dragon riders who all found dragon eggs and took care of them. Their family would have been murdered, executed or they were orphans. The way one would get a dragon egg is similar to Eragon, the series of books where the dragon chooses its rider and they have a mind connection bond, but not so dragon-rider choosey.

- One dragon per rider. One rider per dragon (I’ve had both many times before come up)
- Dragons are opposite sex from rider
- All dragons can fly and breath fire.
- All characters must be juvenile (under 18)

- Beginner (2 – 4, just flying)
- Intermediate (6 - 7 months, can fly – not so good)
- Advanced (8 – 9 months, flies well)
- Warrior/Hunter (8 – 12 months, knack for things flies very well, also fights and gets food for the others)
- Leader (starter. Founder. Can fly extremely well. Only one)
