Annalise ran her fingers through her long red hair as it started to dry. She had taken a shower and was getting ready for the day. She walked into her bedroom while rubbing a towel against her head to help dry her hair faster. She looked out the window at the ocean view. Sure it was pretty but what was she to do on this island?

Annalise finished getting ready then headed down stairs. She saw her mother who was eating breakfast. "Good morning, you're up early." Her mother stated. "Unfortunately." Anna shrugged. "Oh come on, it'll be fun." Her mother insisted. "Yeah." Anna sighed, her bright blue eyes looked around the foreign house. Anna grabbed a piece of toast and started munching on that. "I'm goin for a walk." She said standing up and leaving with her toast before her mother could protest.

Violet looked out the window, life seemed dull, but she thought that the ocean looked nice, she turned towards the woods, something seemed to be calling her to it, she leaned out the window with one foot stretched out, and then she fell. She tumbled in a circle and landed on her behind. The hair over left eye was messed up and she took her fingers and straightened it out.

After walking by the ocean for a few moments Annalise decided to check out the forest. While the beach was beautiful it wasn't able to hide wonderful secrets like a forest could. Annalise had an equal attraction to both land and water. She loved the freedom the ocean brought and the sounds of nature the wilderness. She disappeared into the woods and was surrounded by greenery with some splash of colour from native flowers. Why did she have to do enjoy this alone? Couldn't she have brought her friends? Yup, no better vacation then behind isolated on an island.

Violet squinted, why are they so attracted to the forest? She stopped squinting and yelled to top of her lungs through the window, "Dad! I am going out for a while, be back in a while!" Her dad said ok and Violet got up on her feet. Wearing sea blue sandals, a light blue one piece bathing suit and a pair of dark blue pair of jeans. She walked to the forest on her own and fell through a hole, she screeched a high screech.
